  1. Root for PIT to win the division, it increases the likelihood BAL will have to travel to KC in the divisional round. If BAL wins the AFCN they couldn’t face KC until the AFCCG.
  2. KC has a HoF defensive coordinator. No doubt the Bills would be more productive on defense even with the personnel they have if Spags was running the show.
  3. Lamar and that Ravens team certainly can as well, regardless of how Jackson has played in the past.
  4. Praying the Steelers win the AFCN!
  5. Kelce looks like he’s running in quicksand, probably no faster than a 5.5 40 at this point. Doesn’t matter, he’s still uncovered 60% of the time.
  6. That flag and subsequent TO on the earlier Steelers TD has been monumental in a game like this
  7. Is the Steelers OL really this bad?
  8. I didn’t think Omenihu would be this effective so quickly coming off a major knee injury. Really strengthens that KC DL.
  9. You just know if the jerseys were reversed and Pacheco ran that in, they’re not calling the hold on KC. You just know it.
  10. Surprised he didn’t hit Kelce earlier. He was wide open just waiting there before Mahero decided to throw it.
  11. As for the Garrett talk, if the Bills do trade for him they better get their CBs to start pressing rather than playing 8 yards off their receiver or his pass rush pressures won’t matter. Nothing more frustrating than seeing the DL actually get pressure fast only to have the DB give the softest cushion which results in an easy pitch and catch.
  12. I disagree with this take. Is he the biggest 1st round miss by Beane? Yes, but the biggest busts to me are Cody Ford and Boogie Basham and I base that on the high end/blue chip players that were selected immediately after them. At least in Elam’s case, there wasn’t a major All Pro miss that the Bills could’ve used (and are starving for now) between that pick and James Cook in the 2nd. Kyler Gordon or Cam Taylor-Britt would’ve been much better pieces than Elam, but neither are all pro, or pro bowl worthy. Elam is a bust given we traded up for him, expected much more, and his ROI is low, but he’s not completely worthless.
  13. Same with Hyde. If he expects to play in the playoffs he has to get in some regular season action. Even with all his experience (and this goes for Milano as well), when most players step back on the field after an extremely long layoff, the game moves fast and will take a little bit to slow down. That timing has to get right again.
  14. Douglas doesn’t seem to receive the same criticism as other Bills DBs, maybe because he’s made plays in the past, but he has been ROUGH this year. Rapp I agree, he’s made quite a few TD saving plays.
  15. You hardly ever see DPI called on a play where a receiver has both hands on the DB’s chest riding him into the EZ before breaking away for a catch. Just as it’s illegal for the DB to make contact past 5 yards, WRs shouldn’t be allowed to use the DB to push off for a catch. We call that hand fighting if both are engaged with each other. Swallow your whistles, refs. You’re not the show.
  16. Oh, Mike Edwards is playing quality minutes for the Bucs, I see.
  17. DL and secondary are not working well together. There were a few times where the DL got pressure - FAST - but the CBs were playing 7-8 yards off the receiver so it was an easy pitch and catch. I need the secondary to he more handsy, more physical. I can’t stand seeing underneath completion after underneath completion on a march right down the field. And it doesn’t matter that 3/4 starters were out. Douglas has had a rough year, Hamlin is a JAG, only Rapp has been above average.
  18. Paying Rousseau $20+M/yr won’t make him a better pass rusher. My limit would be $18M/yr, if he commands more than that, draft his replacement along with the rest of the DL. Whole unit needs a makeover.
  19. Joe Marino said he’s been terrible since he’s been back. Maybe the healthy scratch lights a fire in him to get back to where he was before the injury. As for the secondary players sitting out, I have to believe part of it is wanting to get a longer look at Elam and Bishop. No need to rush the others back anyway.
  20. Baltimore has put up historic numbers offensively this year. Anyone saying they’re fine with playing them in the playoffs and seeing King Henry again, careful what you wish for.
  21. He’s worn the glove on that left hand when there was an issue, but then told the press the hand was completely healed but he continued to wear the glove out of superstition (coincided with his longest streak of not throwing a pick). I do remember one game where it looked like he reaggravated it, but then said afterwards it was his funny bone and he was trying to weather a burning sensation. Don’t know if the left is still broken, but we do know Josh doesn’t cry over injuries or embellish them for sympathy like certain other QBs.
  22. And the Chiefs are 1 win away from going undefeated in the AFCW.
  23. Been YEARS since the Ravens beat the Steelers decisively. Steelers own the Ravens, Ravens own the Bengals, and the Browns always seem to give their AFCN neighbors fits.
  24. Derrick Henry is like a bigger version of Eddie George.
