Poona was a good player for the Seahawks too. Not sure what happened in B-Lo.

They really should have them do every single drill in pads. The only one that should be exempt from that is the bench press.

I’d have to move on from Johnston after the season if I’m the Chargers. Maybe not cut, but he’d have to ride the pine if I couldn't trade him. Far too unreliable 2 years in a row now.

Bills, Ravens, and Chiefs against the NFC: 13-2 -
Which team are you most scared of in the playoffs?
Brand J replied to margolbe's topic in The Stadium Wall
We were missing starters last time against the Ravens, true, but the defense was pretty much healthy against the Rams, correct? Did they make a difference? On that particular September night in Baltimore, it didn’t matter who was in the lineup on defense, the scheme was all wrong. Believe I read afterwards the Bills gave the Ravens a light box over 60% of the time. They weren’t ready on either side of the ball, but if they matchup again, I’m expecting a much closer result in a coin flip game. Bills and Ravens have always played each other close, that last game was an outlier. -
AP All-Pro Teams Announced. Josh 2nd Team Only Bill.

I don’t think any player on our team is getting snubbed, but we’ve got a bunch of good to great guys, no superstars. People saying the Bills would only win 4 games without Allen is an argument that depends on his replacement. With Aiden O’Connell? Yeah, 4-6 wins are likely. But the team isn’t devoid of talent. They have one A+ player with the majority of other starters (and even some backups - Davis, Knox) ranging from A- to B. Just a solid, unspectacular roster that needs spectacular play from their A+ player to win the SB. -

Some team has to put a stop to the Mahomes madness! -

Just meant that’s a ton of SB wins in recent memory between 2 AFC guys. If either were in the NFC that conference would be decisively ahead. I went and looked at the list of QBs who have 3 or more SB wins. It’s a pretty short list: Tom Brady (7) Joe Montana (4) Terry Bradshaw (4) Patrick Mahomes (3) Troy Aikman (3) Earl Morrall (3) No active QB other than Mahomes has more than 1 SB win. All the guys with 2 are retired. -

Brady’s 6 and Mahomes’s 3 greatly contribute to that number. -
Deshaun Watson suffers 2nd achillies rupture
Brand J replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the end the only serious teams were the Falcons and Saints. Browns were out according to Watson. Neither of those NFC teams had reached an agreement for compensation and the Browns swooped back in with their mega offer. They were the only team to offer not only a ridiculous contract, but far more trade compensation than what should’ve been due. They wanted him that bad and continue to burn for that decision. -

Broncos have 3 first team all pros. How will we ever compete? Has a regular season MVP ever finished 2nd team all pro or didn’t make the list? -

Really good safeties are usually found anywhere from round 3 to 5. Never did I imply Bishop’s career was over, I think he’s more suited for Rapp’s role and would hope he overtakes him next year. I want a true rangy free safety with speed, in the Micah Hyde mold to start next to Bishop. Rapp can play in certain packages like he did his first year here. I think defensively the secondary and DL both need makeovers.
-
Yeah I’m disappointed there was no real desire to get Hyde back on the field. Would’ve felt better about Hyde and Rapp than I do about Hamlin and Rapp. Definitely will be drafting another safety.
-
It was absolutely criminal for them to go into the season with only O’Connell and Minshew as their QBs. That is a fireable offense.

There’s a much longer one out there, one of the embedded series. Might have to dig for it a bit.

It’s a little rough going back and looking at the video given what we know now. Behind the 2022 Draft

Insurance companies are more than happy to rake in your money for decades, but in the event you should need it they don’t want to pay a dime.

Haloti Ngata said the same. He was convinced he’d be a Buffalo Bill and was hurt when they passed on him.
-
And the Bills would’ve had the option to cut someone to make room for him on the active roster. If they’re fine with letting him go after working closely with him for all these months, maybe it’s not a loss at all. Could’ve cut someone like Mike White to make room for him.
-
The 3rds are split in two years, so it’d be 2025 and 2026.
-
Yeah they gave Codrington snaps at CB in games where they pulled the starters. The Jets game (where Garrett Wilson caught a TD on him) and one other besides the Patriots game (want to say Jacksonville?). He’s not good enough to play corner, should’ve kept him solely on returns.
-
Don’t think he was in the plans to play safety. Already has Rapp and Bishop in front of him. Not sure about the linebacker transition either, he’s extremely light for a OLB.
-
I remember the video where Gray and another were scouting Elam, in a room watching tape of him. “Im with you, ______. I think this guy can help us.” Hope we get those 3rds!

I like it for the Bills (and I’m sure Chiefs fans like it as well), because I don’t think the Bengals will find a better DC than Anarumo. When Spags was struggling in KC and the fans were calling for his head, I had hoped he’d be fired too, but that wasn’t the case and now he’s got that defense humming.
