I've got a friend with way too much time on his hands, so he came up with these scenarios for the Bills getting in the playoffs...

Jets get at bye & 10 day lay off vs Buffalo in 2011
Ramius replied to r00tabaga's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I call BS. If God hated us, he wouldn't have let His son lead the TD drive to beat the jets. -
TEBOW!!! is a Jet! (finally)
Ramius replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
timtebow did a great job of holding the jets to just 13 points. -
You guys were leading the charge saying that he's too small to be effective. Bottom line. You guys were ridiculous in completely writing him off because he weighed 246 and not 260. Perhaps we can dig up the threads. As for the last part, you're correct. The Bills would have had no need/use for Von Miller and his 9.5 sacks.

Is Tebow turning the NFL upside down?
Ramius replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
flutie never got "another shot" because he was garbage. He was good for a small stretch of games and then D-coordinators figured him out and he became largely ineffective. Unless tebow becomes a better passer, he'll go down the same path. -
Yup. The most frustrating thing about McKelvin is not his inconsistent play, but the fact we should have simply kept Jabari Greer and thus not have had to spend a pick on Leodis.

+1 It amazes me that there are so many fans that are willing to continue the treadmill of releasing our good players via FA only to have to spend a draft pick to replace them. If we let Stevie walk, WR becomes a monstrous hole on this team. We'll then see how well freddie runs when opposing defenses stack 9 in the box. Not to mention that it takes time for a WR to develop a rapport with a QB. SJ and Fitzy have had 2+ years together. Its not worth throwing that away because some fans don't think Stevie is a "#1" WR.
-
By this board's standards, if Stevie is a "#2" WR, then there are maybe 8-10 #1 WRs in the entire NFL.

Got my Bruce fathead yesterday! About a week after they said they were shipping the correct order out.

Its not going to work if you have 0 threat of a passing game, as the Broncos do now. Line up 1 or 2 corners on a WR and put 9 in the box. Then see how well the running 55 times a game works. Also, the broncos haven't really beaten anyone of consequence. The chiefs and dolphins aren't good, and the raiders, like the Bills, have shown flashes of good play but have been inconsistent. The only time the broncos played a legit team (detroit), they got blown out. -
Using A1 on a steak should be a criminal offense. A good steak needs nothing after cooking besides possibly a bit of salt/pepper/butter.

Grow up. It was a harmless move that had absolutely zero effect on the game or any of the players involved. As for helping players up, its called class and sportsmanship. I'd rather my team have that than not.

Didn't know you lived in State College, PA. As i've gotten older i like horseradish more and more, and i am particularly fond of honey-mustard sauce on chicken. Of course, living down here in the south, i've found plenty of brand new sauces and flavors from all over the gulf coast that are amazing. Homemade remoulade sauce, etc.

In 2 paragraphs or less, explain the effects of a truculent triceratops on east german scientists rolling a standard 6-sided die, and then subsequently use that position to simultaneously support the arguments that evolution is a failure because birds didn't evolve back into dinosaurs and that kelly holcomb is a great QB.

Have you seen the Jills? no one wants to see that on camera.

Donald Jones is garbage. The offense was better with him on the sidelines than in the game. At this point, with FJ running the hell out of the ball, why not move CJ to WR full time?

Golisano was great for what the team needed at the time...someone to stabilize the operation and bring the team back to respectability. Golisano was also going to make sure the team was playoff-caliber every single season so he'd make his money. However, he was not willing to do what it takes to win a Cup, something Pegula is. Golisano was going to hope we caught fire in the post season, but he wasn't going to make the moves necessary to add a piece to put us on top, or to keep the team together. I'm thankful for what Golisano did at the time he did it. I'm more thankful that Pegula stepped in when he did. The Sabres were definitely starting to stagnate under Golisano/Quinn. Don't underestimate the amount of damage Quinn did. Kicking his ass to the curb still remains the best move T-Pegs has made.

+1 It took them less than 12 hours to email me the return shipping label, but they aren't getting their ortiz back until i get my bruce (the one they claimed they shipped yesterday)

Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night
Ramius replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a bunch of damn babies in this thread. Stevie got a flat tire. Big deal. People cancel things all the time for less. So sorry you couldn't get his autograph. There are worse things in life. And some of you need to get some tin foil hats with the conspiracy theories being lobbed around. -
Mine came in a fathead box wrapped in clear plastic. There was a UPC code on the botton that said D. Ortiz, and then on the top and side, a graphic showing the Ortiz fathead and said "David Ortiz." Sure enough, when i opened it, it was a david ortiz. EDIT: just got an email response from customer service who claims they are having the correct order shipped to my today, and are also sending me a return address label for the Ortiz fathead. We'll see what happens.

Horriffic PI calls seem to be the norm across the league this season, not just with the Bills involved. I can't even begin to list the amount of times i've been watching games and was left wondering what the hell the ref saw/how the hell didn't they see a call. There's no consistency, and it seems that anytime a WR is looked at wrong, a flag comes out on the defense.
-
Well, it was $15 total, so thats why i didn't think it was worth freaking out about. Worst case scenario, i'l toss it up on craigslist and try to get $20-25 for the Ortiz from some sawx fan.

You're on to something. I'm not taking anything from the amazing stuff Freddie has done this year, but we've really used the pass to set up his running. Come out 5-wide, fling the ball everywhere, and that will open up the lanes for F-Jax.

I sent them an email requesting a Bruce Fathead as a replacement, and if not, then a full refund. I'll keep you guys updated on what happens.
