  1. Actually the only embarassing thing about being a Bills fan is some of the posters on this board.
  2. From everything i read, Stevie wasn't fined for going to the ground...the penalty took care of that. Stevie was fined for stimulating a firearm during his celebration, and those are highly frowned upon. so, updating Goodell's criteria: Beating women: ok pretending your hand is a gun: not ok
  3. The OP has posted this vid in EVERY single Stevie thread, and now starts a new thread. Enough is enough already.
  4. Its in cambridge. I got the line on it from an old co-worker who works there now. She lives in Whitman and commutes to the T. I'm not particularly picky on where i live, but i wouldn't want to live in the city. I'd prefer to live outside (within reasonable commuting distance). I've got no problem taking the T.
  5. I've got a line on a job there. Been running some numbers, and i'm just trying to get a feel on what the minimum income would be to live off of in the area to see if the job is worth pursuing. It'd be me and the girl, and we'd be on my salary until she got a job. If anyone wants to talk the numbers they're throwing out there, feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.
  6. Troup thus far has been a disappointment, but it would be foolish to toss him to the scrap heap at this point. DT typically takes a bit for collegiate players to learn, and often times it can take those players a few years to fully grasp their position. We're talking about a guy who played some as a rookie and then had his second year washed out by injury. He may never develop, but it would be the height of stupidity to release him, especially when there isn't currently a realistic upgrade on the roster. At the very least, let him get healthy, bring in some competition, and make him fight for a job in camp next year.
  7. For the record, if Stevie's career parallels that of Chad Ochocinco (nee Johnson) both on and off the field, i'd be thrilled. Look at the numbers 85 put up in cincy. I'd welcome that in a heartbeat in Buffalo.
  8. Re-watch Super Bowl XXV and get back to us on this point. Not to mention the helmet throw, and bumping an official which was a huge penalty in the WC game that flutie lost against miami.
  9. Also, to add on to what has been said, for the OL and D-front 7, watch the senior bowl/workouts/etc. It's pitting these guys 1-on-1 and you can start to see who can hanbdle going against top talent day in and day out. Also watch bowl games, but be wary. Lots of teams have a month of rust coming into their bowl games, and lots of times the competition isn't always equal.
  10. Plaxico: 34-479-7 (3 games with 60+ yards) Stevie: 54-622-5 (5 games with 60+ yards) Not exactly "3 times the season" Stevie is having. Also, Stevie in 2010 went 82-1073-10. 11th in yards, 11th in receptions, T-7th in TDs. By any measure, Stevie was performing at your mythical "#1" WR level last season. Unless the entire NFL only has 10 "#1" WRs.
  11. How exactly does a team "buy" tickets from themselves?
  12. What, you think they held Turner Gill to ridiculous standards? Asking him to win the Big XII in 2 seasons (when KU hasn't won a conference title since 1968) is asking too much? Aside from their fluke 2007 season with the Orange Bowl win, when was the last time KU was relevant on the football field?
  13. If Fred Jackson or Marcel Dareus did the mocking, everyone would love them.
  14. What about his 1st TD pass? Theory: busted
  15. And many people are wrong to believe that NFL players should do nothing but focus on football 100% of the time. Should stevie sit on the crapper with an ipad of opposing film? Why it is only twitter that apparently affects stevie? Oh thats right, because its the only thing the mouth breathers here can latch on to. Are personal phone calls ok? Text messages? Emails? Online shopping? All of those things are apparently not taking away from stevie's play on the field, but twitter is?
  16. Stevie's twitter account has nothing to do with his play on the field.
  17. bull ****. His celebration cost us nothing. If dave friggin rayner can hit a kickoff like any other kicker in the NFL, the jets have a much more difficult time in scoring. Blaming stevie for the kickoff is asinine, and a sign of trollish behavior from someone who doesn't understand a bit about football.
  18. The tards and mouth breathers need a scapegoat.
  19. Whitner will be in the playoffs, and the Bills won't. But he "was part of the problem."
  20. You can only blame the S&C coaches if the players are suffering things like pulls, strains, etc. Things like knee injuries and bone breaks and ankle sprains are simply bad luck.
  21. This has bothered me most of the season, but particularly over the past few weeks. I'm seeing all of our pass coverage guys (safeties, CBs, and LBs in coverage) following their assignment and rarely looking back for the ball. They stay with or chase the receiver and just keep running even when its obvious the ball is in the air. There's no looking back and attempting to deflect or intercept the ball. They are playing the man when you should be playing the ball. This has to be coaching, or lack of coaching. Its been consistent throughout the team, so there's no one particular player i can single out. It's not a difficult concept. If you can't see the QB, watch the WRs eyes, and look back when he's tracking the ball. It's baffling to me why none of our players ever seem to do this.
  22. I did too. The cute little cow on the carton had just scored a TD.
  23. CJ versus the Jets D with the way our offense has been playing? My only prediction is this board hangs the entire loss on Spiller when he only runs for 40 yards.
  24. No way. Not worth it. Guy simply can't stay healthy.
  25. John Fox would design an offense that doesn't work unless the D holds the opposition to under 17 points and the D scores most of the offensive points itself, much like he has for timtebow in Denver.
