Dungy: 6 years Gruden: 7 years Morris: 3 years I'd hardly call Tampa a "coaching revolving door" and a team that "missed" on HC hires. They missed on Raheem Morris, but aside from that, the Glazers have done a pretty good job at picking coaches. You're doing nothing but twisting your numbers by counting a coach that was fired as 1 coach in 1 year. Typical WEO lies.

I dont think the change is that big of a deal for 2 reasons. First, (sadly) our personnell is still best suited for a 4-3. Second, you play with 5 or 6 DBs on the field what, probably close to 60% of the time. So 60% of the time we had a 4 man front anyway. If the Bills should be criticized for anything, it should be for switching to the 3-4, but not committing the necessary resources and not having the necessary plan to successfully convert.

have you relocated away from buffalo ?
Ramius replied to drinkTHEkoolaid's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I moved from Buffalo to tallahassee back in '03 to come here for grad school. Its a great place to go for a few years while you're in school, but there's nothing after that, hence the reason i'm trying like hell to get out. -
Vikings will listen for trades....

Fitz's performance over the first 7 games of the season shows he's capable of winning a super bowl. Yes, he needs to be more consistent, but there is talent there. During that stretch, the Bills played well enough to beat anyone in the league. And given the past few seasons as a reference, the teams that have had the most post season success have been the teams playing the best ball in december. If the Bills upgrade and improve the team enough to reach the playoffs, Fitz has shown he is capable of playing at a high enough level to win it all. -
The pro bowl is so bad that i watched the US women's soccer game instead of the pro bowl.

Every year i run a bunch of prop bets at our super bowl party. $5 entry, and most fo the bets i use are 50/50 chances. Lots of people love it, including the people that don't follow football too much, because they still have a great chance to win.

Can anyone who saw the game let me know how Nigel Bradham looked? (LB for the South) Thanks in advance.

i thought the end of the world was 12/21/12, not 12/12/12?

UConn James fantasies involve his girlfriend dressing up as Willy Wonka.

I hope tannehill goes in the top 10, because it'll push another very good player down to our spot in round 1.

Good point. I'll also add in Mike Singletary. The Baltimore DCs seem to have a dubious track record as HCs at best.

Is Garrison Sanborn really a franchise long snapper?
Ramius replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We do need a franchise long snapper. After doing a full rectal-statistical analysis, i determined that teams with franchise long snappers win trhe super bowl once every 8.36425 years, while teams without a franchsie long snapper win a super bowl every 4,726 years. it is imperative we devote all of our resources into finding a franchise long snapper. -
In rounds 1-3 (barring any nice FA acquisitions), i'd really like to see us add a pass rusher (OLB or DE) and a WR. For the 3rd spot, i'm ok with a CB/TE/OT.

Not to mention his asinine run where he was safetied against Wake. for those that don't know, FSU had it 1st and 10 from their own 1. Thomas hit the run off tackle, and could have dove ahead for 2-3 yards. Instead, he tried to bounce it outside and got tackled in the endzone for a safety. You expect much better game awareness from a senior.

Life will be difficult for Buddy Nix this year.

Your cash-to-cap analysis is off. The Bills use it to mean that if the cap is $130 million, then the team will spend no more than $130 million in real cash in that year. Contract signing bonuses, while paid off in year 1 in cash, and spread out for cap purposes. The Bills have much more in actual cash to spend than they do in cap space. Take the Nick Barnett contract. Its 3 years, 12 million, with a 1.5 million signing bonus. That 1.5 million counted as 1.5 mil in cash in 2011, but only 500k towards the cap. In 2012, it still counts 500k towards the cap, but not in actual cash. There's a lot of things to bash the bills about, but most NFL teams use a cash to cap or similar philosophy, so that isn't one of them. -
Nice interview. However, i don't want anything to do with Jermaine Thomas. He's got an injury history, including a concussion, and make way too many boneheaded plays. Yes he's got athletic talent with the ball, but there are dozens of RBs that can do what he does, and probably don't make idiotic mistakes.

One important fact of Victor Cruz's success; he plays alongside Hakeem Nicks, one of the top young WRs in the league. He might not look as good if he had to play alongside Donald "garbage" Jones who can't catch a cold, and Brad Smith.

Actions are what defines our lives, and in the biggest moment, when all the chips were on the table, joepa came up oh so small. Joepa proved that for all the legend, all the glory, all the hype, that ultimately, he was nothing more than a coward and a scumbag. Its tough to argue that the world is NOT a better place with another child-raping enabler planted in the ground.

You always take the ball because 1 play could end it. Just like the Denver-Pittsburgh game. A NY TD and the game's over.

I've definitely seen that hit on Eli flagged for roughing the passer numerous times. I like that they didn't call it, but i hate the inconsistency of the flags. That's 15 yards if it happens to Brady.

Lee "the magician" Evans....hes dissapeared
Ramius replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Evans needed to hang on to the ball, but to call it a drop shows you have nothing more than an agenda to push and an axe to grind. -
If you look really close, you can see kate and leo floating nearby.

Whoa. Did Mike Mularkey just hack into the 49ers headsets on that playcall?

Whats even worse is that if i do (what i mentioned above) on the 30 yard line, it is considered a catch and i'm ruled down by contact because the ground can't cause a fumble. Only the NFL would have different rules as to what constitutes a catch for the field of play and in the endzone.
