95% of NFL players celebrate after making a play, regardless of game situation. Mckelvin is no different. The guy has all the physical talent in the world, but very limited ball skills. Cutting him would be the height of stupidity, seeing how we have no one to replace him with. No one is saying make him the #1 CB. But he's a valuable rotation guy, and does excellent work in the slot. We dont need to create more holes, especially on defense. Stevie had no idea he was going to get flagged for the t-shirt against the pats*. Even Gailey admitted he didn't know why Stevie was flagged for the shirt.

He can simply live in Buffalo during the season. Lots of players have permanent homes outside of the city they play in.

Fred did get screwed because he was an ERFA when his last time for negotiation came up. His only 2 options were to sign what the Bills were offering, or to completely sit out of football.

Well, thats great and all, but Vincent Jackson plays for SD.

No one has given a rat's ass about Whitney for the past 15 years, but now she dies, all these celebs are showing their "emotion" over her death? I call BS.

So if i've got this right... 1. Sign a 58 year old Hines Ward. 2. Draft an OG at #10. 3. ????? 4. SUPER BOWL!

Another Facebook article: Parenting Win

http://digitallife.today.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/10/10373426-dad-punishes-facebook-post-with-8-bullets-to-daughters-laptop The daughter made a post on facebook trashing her parents, swearing at them, calling them lazy and complaining she had too many chores and they did nothing. So her Dad got his revenge, and she won't be posting on facebook for a while. I'm sure this will get exiled to PPP before too long, but congrats to this guy for taking care of the problem. -
Football outsiders assessment of Bills needs
Ramius replied to buffaloaggie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
stevie is one of only 9 WRs to post 1,000 yards receiving in the past 2 seasons. Seeing as he had almost identical stats between '10 and '11, and in '11 he had no other WR threat to take any heat off him, i'd say he's a little better than "worst 1/3 of all WRs" -
Mine's easy enough. Tickets to Jimmy Buffett and she was ecstatic.

http://www.firstshowing.net/2012/wait-what-george-lucas-asserts-that-greedo-always-shot-first/ Han shot first. Maybe we can use this piece of lunacy from lucas to finally prove he's gone bat **** crazy and have him locked up in the looney bin. At least then he wouldn't be able to screw up the movies anymore.

I tried looking it up as well, and all i could find was a couple of the scouts, inc "directors." They all had experience, but the article dealt with ranking high school players for recruiting. They all are ESPN employees.

He has a great career, but the HOF is for the best of the best. Martin most certainyl wasn't among the best fo the best. In the past 15 years (which covers his playing time), one can easily come up with a dozen or more RBs you'd pick before martin if building a team.

Taking a guy projected at 16 at number 10 is not a "reach." "Reach" and "draft value" are 2 of the most idiotic terms thrown about when it comes to draft analisys. They have no meaning or basis in actual reality. It's simply a way for these mock draft losers to make it look like they were right and the NFL teams were wrong.

If Evans gets cut do you want him back
Ramius replied to ALLEN1QB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure, why not. Don't break the bank for him, but for a small contract i say go for it. He's better than any WR on our roster not named Stevie Johnson or David Nelson. -
Martin is a highly uninspired pick. As mentioned, all he has is stats. And, for arguements sake, he only piled up the stats because he got so many rushes. But, this isn't baseball. No team was ever scared of Martin. He was extremely non-descript. Martin was never going to "dazzle" anyone. He never took the league by storm. All i remember Martin as a guy that was going to run for 2-4 yards on every attempt. He was good enough to not to get stopped for a loss, but he wasn't a game breaker. Martin simply got lucky enough to stay healthy all those years. And since when do we induct players into the HOF for avoiding injury? Martin doesn't pass the eye test. A nice player, yes. HOFer? Hell no.

Make a couple of the soldiers gay and set the series to Top-40 music and you've got yourself a hit TV show.

Would you trade FJ for a 1st rounder in 2012?
Ramius replied to D521646's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Fred was 24, you say no. But, since Fred is 31, the answer is HELL YES! Most of us here aren't sayign to trade jackson. Most of us here know he wouldn't fetch anything near a 1st rounder. However, given the hypothetical that some team offers a #1 for freddie to try to get them over the top, the answer is yes. A more interesting hypothetical is, would you trade FJ for one of the pats* 1sts. -
Given our team needs, and what we currently have on the roster, adding a pass ruch in the form of a DE would improve the team much moreso than an OT. We need OL depth, and will probably need a starting OT (since i'm guessing Bell is gone), but a pass rush is much more pressing. An OT at #10 wouldn't be the worst pick, but it wouldn't be the best either.

FJ and CJ: Utility or Futility?
Ramius replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll add in that the saints run Sproles, Ingram, and Thomas. The Jets ran Shonn Greene and an ass-old Tomlinson. You put freddie and CJ in the backfield with a TE and 2 WRs. Thats numerous options to run and pass, since you can run 1 of the 2, and/or split 1 or both of them out wide creating a matchup problem. If us guys on a message board can think this stuff up, why can't chan? -
really interesting point about 12 men on the field
Ramius replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought the same thing, and it was mentioned on post game shows. I'll gladly give up the 5 yards to run 8 seconds off he clock in that situation. I think the best case scenario in a situation like that is to award 5 yards and put the time back on the clock.
