Nope, it was a 1 time shot. FSU wouldn't be able to do a home-and-home due to already agreed upon future games with other teams, and the ACC is going to a 9 game conference schedule in 2013, which means we're losing an OOC date. The WVU game was already slated for Tallahassee, so FSU was working on keeping the new game down here. I called out Boise St. because they want to wear the big boy pants and be taken seriously, yet they still want to play with the little kids.

Boise turned down an invite to play down here in Tallahassee at FSU. Typical chicken **** attitude of that school and why i'm getting tired of them in the title discussion every year. They want to get treated like big boys, but then stubbonly refuse to play anyone of any consequence. And no, moving to the Big Least doesn't count as "competition." That conference is no better than the Mountain West. So, unfortunately, with WVU backing out of this upcoming year's game against FSU (one i was really looking forward to), we're stuck playing Savannah St, meanign we're starting the season with 2 straight 1-AA schools. it's not for lack of trying. Along with Boise, FSU was turned down by Cincy, Pitt, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Syracuse, and Arkansas among others.

Stevie didn't tweet his junk, but keep on perpetuating a lie if it makes you feel better.

Where is it guaranteed that V-Jax will sign with us? If you let Stevie walk, you're running the risk of heading into the draft with David Nelson and Garbage Jones as our 2 starting WRs, with a 3rd WR (Easley) who hasn't taken an NFL snap in his 2-year career.

Yes, there was a "let's all chase them and catch the chickens and then split them" agreement. The girls reneged when they caught both. As for the Idol, there are 2 hidden on the beach, and each one has a deisgnated tribe. If you find the other tribe's instead of your own (which she did), you have to give it to someone from that tribe. As for the season, i'm not sold yet. They should change the name from One world to Survivor: The Real World, because thats where all of these morons belong. I miss the days of having a wide range of contestants of all ages and walks of life, which made the game very fun and interesting. Now they just toss in a dozen or so frat-boy/sorority-girl morons that serve as nothing more than eye candy. I think there's maybe a brain and a half combined between all 18 contestants, and the black girl (Sabrina?) has 1 of the brains. The swimsuit photographer guy is kinda funny too. At least redemption island is gone. As for the challenge, the girls would have done the exact same thing the guys did. There's no such thing as "honor" in survivor. Its about surviving as long in the game as possible. Any chance you have to last another 3 days for free, you take it. if the girls didn't want to lose, they should have followed the instructions and crossed their arms for the landing.

ESPN has their head up their asses. Not saying that fans are the best barometer, but the majority of fanbases that need WR help have Stevie on their short list. The real question is, what happens when the Bills foolishly let Stevie walk, and Vincent Jackson laughs at our offer and goes to another team?
-
Are you implying Stevie is ranked about top 12-20 as a WR? If so then I agree.
-
Gotcha. I thought you were referring to him career-wise.

That's your typical gator fans right there. Looks like they made them remove their tebow jerseys before taking the mug shots.

It's interesting that everywhere except in Buffalo, Stevie Johnson is considered a "#1" WR.

Mayock was into player evaluations long before he was an announcer.

The length of the thread you start is completely irrelevant to the quality of the post(s).

She'll let you do all of that, AND on Valentine's Day? She's a keeper.

Good post. If anything, Chan and buddy made it painfully obvious that they wanted a guy exactly like Spiller...more than a month before the draft. I don't doubt that Ralph has been meddling in the past, but given his advanced age, and the information being sent out by Chan and nix that offseason, there's little doubt that THEY wanted that pick and it had nothing to do with Ralph.

Interesting take on the SF fans. Down here in florida, buccs fans are already pre-ordering Colston jerseys. Also, it seems the general consensus from the fans seems that they consider Stevie on par with both Bowe and Colston as "top-tier" WR FA targets.
-
So why is it that the WRs are forced to "split" votes but the fat guys are allowed to have more than 1 electee voted in at a time?
-
Stevie will probably easily get over 8 million per year. The top WRs are making 12-14 mil per season. That would put Stevie right in the 9-10 million range. There have been rumors floating around the interwebs that Mario Manningham will pull down 7 mil per season. Stevie is certainly better than him. 9 WRs have had 1,000 in each of the last 2 seasons. Stevie is 1 of those 9.

Why the Combine is a Waste of Time & Money
Ramius replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The combine does have it's uses. The medical exams and interviews play a very important role to teams in the evaluation process. While the raw athletic numbers mean far less, the combine does allow for a standard set of measures to be used on all participants. Colleges fudge weights and heights of almost every player, so having the exact set of measureables for players gives a nice baseline. -
If and when the Bills refuse to roll over cap space from last season, it'll show exactly how "committed" they are to winning.

The OL did perform admirably this season, but not great. They were middle of the road. However, the OT situation is simply unacceptable. We don't necessarily need an OT specifically at #10, but an upgrade is in order be it a FA or in the first few rounds the draft (1-3).

Sounds a lot like Apollo 11.

NASA is taking the same (unfortunate) hit that all sciences are taking. With funding being slashed, the real "marquee" type of research projects are being passed over for minor, incremental research by "well-established" people. It's the Dick Jauron approach to science.

Based on what PETS wants, if the judge had any sense of humor, he'd award guardianship of the killer whales to SeaWorld.

I think he's referring to that retarded mickey-mouse-with-Downs-Syndrome thing that was on stage.
