  1. fuggin idiotic small towns. I hate the damn small town mentality. Good thing law enforcement is hard at work tho, taking the REAL criminals off the street like these girls.
  2. FWIW, on sportscenter the other day, kiper was on and still saying he expects the titans to take vince young at #3. basically said if leinhart and young were still there, chow wants linehart, but the rest of the titans staff wants young. Young also has a great working relationship with McNair.
  3. I'd love the trade down, but i'm nto sure either will be there at #15, denver's first pick. possibly justice, but bunkley will be off the board before denvers first choice.
  4. Interesting and good point. I know i've been pimping bunkley, but i woudnt be upset if this was the tactic marv took. Grab a guy in R2 or R3, and take davis or huff at #8 overall.
  5. Wow. I'm glad you brought this up. I'm surprised there havent been more posts on this topic.
  6. Anyone else think Terry could have changed the game by NOT winning immunity? I was saying he should lose it on purpose. That way, casaya would have tried to vote him off, he brings out the idol, and shane goes home instead of terry, Yah he loses the idol, but its a chance you have to take to flip the game in your favor.
  7. I was reading that Favre said if he comes back this year, it WILL be his last season. words from his mouth. I guess he's still deciding on whether its worth the effort to go thru camp and all that just to spend the season making excuses and blaming other people for his 30 interceptions.
  8. I agree with you on the best available at #8. I'd take ferg, nawk, super mario, and probably huff and possiblyt davis before bunkley. What scares me about ngata is that its been reported he needs to be motivated and sometimes takes plays off. But yes, definitely best available at #8. I'm assuming that Ferg, Hawk and Williams will be gone by #8, so i'd be happy with huff, bunkley, or davis.
  9. Increments of 10 is what they are scored in. If i gave more than 2 ***** about the verbal section, i probably could have topped my 1470. but as you said, Hit the minimum on SAT scores, and no one/school gives a sh-- about them.
  10. I question whree you get some of your information? Watching the game, he was fairly consistent and solid every game. The guy doesnt take plays off or loaf at all. Also, not a great pass rusher? He did record 9 sacks this year, and 5.5 came in a stretch where we were missing our top DE. And bunkley was 1st round talent at the end of the season. He was kiper's #19 player overall and was projected to be taken in the 20's. So he jumped from low first round to high first round, not from 3rd round as you claim.
  11. The posts, or the collection of special ed posters that have been registering recently?
  12. didnt have much of a chance to do anything. It was at the Ride for Roswell fundraiser. Her husband and kids were nearby, and my mom, aunt, brother and cousin were right there.
  13. Same here. But my hot spanish teacher was for 8th and 9th grade. Funny thing is, i ran into her last summer when i was back home, and shegoes "Wow, you're looking good"
  14. No it wasnt more than one. Bunkley got in trouble for stealing a video game back in 2003. LB Ernie Sims got in trouble for "pinning his girlfriend down in the middle of the road and refusing to let her up", but no charges were pressed. BTW, Sims ran a 4.4 40 at the pro-day workout. LB AJ Nicholson has gotten arrested for beating some guys ass in a bar fight, and mroe recently he was in trouble for the possible assault case before the orange bowl, but i dont tihnk charges were ever pressed.
  15. I see your point, and my counterpoint id that bunkley was a mid to late first rounder who jumped into the upper half of the 1st round. He wasnt some nobody who came out of the third round. The guy would have been drafted by #25 even without his monster combine.
  16. Also remember this draft rule of thumb. There are (the number of the Bills 1st round pick - 1) cant miss blue chip prospects in the draft, and we will miss out on all of them.
  17. found another one http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11191783/
  18. Sorry, can answer much on those technicalities. Watching the game, all we get in the TV angle or the student section view. (and if you've seen the FSU cowgirls, you'd undrestand how tough it is to actually pay attention to the game when at the stadium) Therefore, i usually watch the entire play versus 1 player and his specific assignment.
  19. Yup. All KFFL in confirming is that there has in fact, been an article written about a possible trade rumor for JP losman. KFFL just verifies that the baseless rumor itself does actually exist.
  20. Well, i'll try not to sound like too much of a homer, but here goes. Bunkley is an absolute beast. 23 tackles for a loss this season, along with 9 sacks. The guy is fast as hell, and always around the ball. He's got a knack for getting upfield in a hurry. What i noticed about bunkley is that he was one of the "quiet" team leaders. He didnt always put up the gaudy numbers, but lots of times, his unhearalded plays in the backfield forced bad passes and the like, which allowed our other defenders to make the big plays (INT's, etc) He was a major disruption in the other team's backfield. This about this. Bunkley average over 2 tackles for a loss every game. thats roughly the equivalent of 2 sacks per game. thats potentially 2 series per game that he killed. He was also the captain of the defense here. Another word about his number for the stat nuts here. Bunkley had a great season, and he did some major damage while our top DE, kamerion wimbley, was hurt for a few games. Also, for those detractors that call him another erik flowers, remember this. flowers was 2nd round talent that shot up the board into the first round. Bunkley was alreayd 1st round talent. Bunkley was rated #19 overall by kiper at seasons end. He's mid first round talent that has improved his stock to upper first round talent with an awesome combine and pro day. I like Bunkley over Ngata for a big reason. It has been reported on many scouting reports that Ngata is great "when he is motivated". I dont want to see an unmotivated DT on the bills. If we needed that, we could have kept Sam Adams. I wish i could weigh in more on some of Bunkley's negatives, but as a fan, i was watching the games and not looking for what he did wrong. Bunkley is not huge, only about 284, but i dont think beefing up about 10 more pounds to about 300 would be a problem. He'd fit in perfectly as a cover 2 DT that is fast and cover a lot of ground. So maybe he cant plug up the entire o-line, but he can get to the ball carrier quickly. Frankly, i like the idea of a swarming defense a lot better than a larger slower defense. As for me, provided Ferguson, Williams and Hawk are gone, i'd love to see the bills select Bunkley, Huff, or Davis at #8/ If anyone has some more specific questions, fire away.
  21. NO. shes going from NO. to the texans. for a 5th round draft choice.
  22. No. I'm not. I wasnt trying to deflect attention from anything. Who's paranoid? I'm definitely not paranoid. whats there to be paranoid about? so, did you see that bowling thread? that was a good one, huh?
  23. Go check LA's post to the FHM article. If i had been a met, i'd have been doing everything in my power to make it look like benson was cheating...
  24. Holy sh--. reading this thread gave me vertigo.
  25. Exactly. i like the 1st pick of the 4th, because it gives us first crack at a guy that should have gone on day 1, but fell for some reason.
