  1. If Fox cancelled the show, then its probably definitely worth watching. I think i may have to pick it up on DVD when it comes out.
  2. Depends who is on their board. I'm all about taking the BPA. There's a lot of positions i'm ok with them drafting, be it OT, WR, CB, etc. I guess i dont see that much of a gap between Hightower and Ingram/Upshaw. (Coples is a lazy waste of space, and i don't trust one-year wonder mercilus) I guess my point was that i'm ok with Hightower if thats who they decide to take at 10, and i don't care as much that he'd be considered a bit of a "reach."
  3. After doing a bit mroe digging, i'm slowly becoming more and mroe ok with the Bills taking Hightower at #10. Sure it may be considered a slight "reach," but if the guy is good, who cares that you took him 10 spots higher than he was "projected" to go. Watching Mayock last night, he was showing how Hightower is a true 3 down LB, and he's got the athleticism and size to play ILB, OLB, and hand-in-the-dirt DE.
  4. Why don't you look at some 2011 film instead of reachnig back to 2010?
  5. I bet he does make the roster, because he's a damn good gunner on STs.
  6. Just don't re-issue #11. It's a curse.
  7. Thats great. I've got a similar story. Back in HS a handful of us were at the movies, the old kind with the rows of seats on the slanted floor. We had cans of pop, and we heard one hit the ground and start rolling, and then about 10 rows in front of us, we heard the can thump something and start spraying everywhere. Our one friend insists it was an accident, but we all swear that he rolled it intentionally.
  8. Weren't you also convinced that HD DVDs were going to beat out Blu-ray?
  9. Stevie is in the range of about the #10-20 WR in the NFL (comparing all WRs across all teams). He's not elite. But he's damn good.
  10. The pats* drafting strategy is a mirage, because they never actually use both of their 1st round picks. They'll use one, and trade the other one for a 1st in the following year. And while their trading down is nice, at some point you get diminishing returns.
  11. My dad always used to tell me that something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. I don't care what the Rams think they should get for the #2 slot. It's only worth the best offer someone is extending. I've got a feeling they're gonna be left standing with their junk in their hands and having to make a pick at #2 if their price doesn't come down drastically.
  12. I agree. The current system makes certain games worth "more" points than others. All games should award the same number of points. I'm fine with 3 for a regulation win, and the 2/1 split for OT games. This puts more emphasis on regulation wins, and not just "getting to OT."
  13. About damn time. Good job locking up good young talent. And for a good price too.
  14. Look at the history, specifically the past 3-4 years. Nowhere in there is any evidence that the Bills will actually spend the money on top level free agents. (And issuing bloated contracts to crappy second and third rate OLs doesn't count) As i said, I'll believe buddy and change my tune when there's ink on a few big time free agent contracts next week. And parading a couple of guys through OBD while ultimately losing them to another team doesn't count. Stevie was a great start, albeit a moved that desperately needed to be completed. Next step: Let's see how they actually perform next week.
  15. Yawn. I refuse to believe buddy's claims until i see some top tier free agents being paraded to the media at OBD in their new Bills jersey. No reason to believe that littman, overdorf and the rest of the financial guys are all of a sudden going to let the Bills spend as they wish in free agency.
  16. The best part about that game is that if you ask around buffalo, about 500k people attended and everyone stayed the entire time.
  17. He shouldn't be sleeping, since free agency begins at 4pm this year.
  18. 9.4 million is a low number when you consider he probably will hit double that amount in guarantees on a new contract.
  19. It doesn't matter. Any human with half of a functioning brain can figure out what the Bills big needs are on draft day. Its not like the rest of the league had no idea we need an OT and a DE prior to Buddy saying so. Be prepared to be disappointed by the pick at #10 then. It's going to be WR, OT, or CB.
  20. I like Enroth as a backup, but lets face it. Currently, Enroth's best is about as good as Miller's worst.
  21. 2 straight shutouts!
  22. 1. Fee agency starts at 4pm this year, not 12am. 2. We don't believe budy because he doesn't control the purse strings. Buddy can wish and want to sign all the free agents h wants, but its doubtful that littman, overdouche, and ralphie will let him spend the required amount of $.
  23. The Eagles have tagged DeSean Jackson. One more WR off the market. Mike Wallace is a RFA (3 years experience), hence the reason they can put the RFA tender on him. After 4 years (like Stevie), you become a UFA.
  24. The iggles have put the franchise tag on DeSean Jackson.
  25. There is no guarantee of a "bumper crop" of WRs in FA. Welker is going to be tagged, Bowe is probably going to be tagged. There's still a shot V-Jax is going to be tagged, as well as Colston. Out of anyone, I'd say V-Jax and Colston are most likely to hit FA, along with Manningham and Garcon. So, thats not much to work from if we DON'T re-sign Stevie. We'd have to sign 2 of the top 4 WRs on the market., Not likely.
