  1. I knew, i just knew, that as soon as you read this article, you'd bust out the kleenex and vaseline, knock one out, and then begin posting. There are serious flaws with this little douche's supposed "system" that others have mentioned. Sure he points out a few successes, but what about all the others. Why doesnt he talk about eli manning, alex smith or aaron rogers? Where are tim couch, cade mcknown, michael vick, david carr? And i'd hardly call culpepper a superstar. Oh, i bet his system fails for them, so he convienently left them out. Also, his system is interesting in that it predicts that all 3 QB's this year, cutler, leinhart and young will all be successfull in the NFL. common knowledge says, and i'd be willing to bet that at least 1 of them will flop in the NFL, if not 2.
  2. Ummmm, last time i checked, the pirates never moved from pittsburgh...
  3. Bills taking DT Broderick Bunkley... Davis went to SF Huff went to Det Ngata went to Baltimore Cutler fell to 10 and arizona, young to oakland...
  4. This is the piss poor attitude that the big market teams and the MLB have. What them and you have in common is that you see it as 32 separare businesses competuing against each other. In reality, the NFL is 1 business with 32 different franchises. Thats what has made the NFL king for so many years. The health of each franchise makes the league better as a product. You and the big market teams seem to think that each franshise should be responsible for themselves, and if you cant hack it too bad. While this may work for a short time, in the long run, it will only hurt the NFL. Heres an extreme example of the way you think the NFL should be run. The NFL allows teams to do whatever, and keep spending. Eventually we are down to dallas, washington, new england and philly as the only remaining viable franchises. Sure these guys will make the money, but when theres 4 teams left, those multi-billion dollar TV contracts will dry up when no one wants to watch just those 4 teams compete. The overall product of the NFL will keep it at the top of the sports world. And the way to ensure that the NFL product stays great is to make sure each one of its franchises is viable and can legitamitely compete with one another. And that means revenue sharing. Its a matter of giving up some personal gain for the better good of the entire league. The old guard understood this. The newbies snyder, kraft, jones, and jackasses like you dont.
  5. Brett Favre, what are you doing on TBD?
  6. beerme1 is the BF of the hockey world.
  7. this is the most likely scenario, provided we dont sign him to a long term extension. The franchise tender is SALARY, not bonus. So if Nate signs the tender now, and gets hurt in camp, buffalo can cut him and not take any penalty. His salary isnt guaranteed until the first game. Frankly, i see no problem with signing Nate to a 7 year 45 mil contract with a 15 mil signing bonus. With all the cap room we have this year, we could take a big cap hit this season (maybe 9-10 mil of the SB) and spread the remaining bonus over the life of his contract.
  8. we will just become twodrive then.
  9. whatever you need ot tell yourself to feel better about the leafs not making the playoffs.
  10. I cant remember when or if a franchise tagged player sat the season out. Sure, they want a long term contract and a bunch of them have held out through training camp, but come the start of the season, the player signs the tender and plays. They arent going to give up that much money to sit out and make a point.
  11. If they moved, i'd hate the entire AFC East, not just 3 of the teams.
  12. I thought the only 2 basketball teams in LA were the Clippers and the rapists.
  13. Brett Favre has turned into the biggest assclown. It should be a simple decision for GB. Who would throw fewer INT's, favre or basically a rookie QB. The difference i see is that Favre will throw 30 INT's that are all someone else's fault, and Rogers will throw 25 that are all his fault.
  14. She shoudl care about the bills. If she wins the presidency, she'll be hosting us for the "Super Bowl Champions" visit to the whitehouse.
  15. Of course Nate would pass up the 7 mil salary for the season and sit out.
  16. Interesting draft. Dunno if Bing will be there in the 3rd, he'll probably go in the second. Leon Washington would be well worth a 5th rounder as our backup RB.The guy can flat out play. As for willie reed, consider him the poor mans warrick dunn. here at fsu, he did the most damage lined up out wide or catching passes out fo the backfield. You could do worse than him in round 7.
  17. I told you steve, you grope breasts in a counter-clockwise direction...
  18. I've found that usoing an Aim n flame lighter stick can decrease your odds of personal injury from lighting farts. you can keep your hands further away from the flame. An acetlyene torch does the trick too.
  19. I went with the saggy crapper. The seat was broken on the low-flow toilet. I swear the saggy one is going to snap off the wall sooner or later. It sags about 4 inches, and water leaks out of the back of it all over the floor. Hope everyone got a little laugh for their friday afternoon!
  20. Please help with some quick responses. I dont know how much longer i can hold it.
  21. Some really low scores this morning. Campbell is -5 on the day and is tied for the lead!
  22. You're on an attack of everything Bills, huh? Why even visit the board then?
  23. Said, given the area, he wouldnt make enough $$$ selling the rights to sign an undrafted free agent. Says it works good in NYC where they can make 20 mil a season for naming rights, but NOT in buffalo.
  24. Says in his opinion, the new guys (snyder, kraft, jones) arent in it for the league. Says when they have owners meetings, instead of talking about football, all these new owners want to do is talk about money.
