  1. How you can you say tebow "struggled" when he went 5-14? That's usually where his completion % ends up. He's in mid season form.
  2. On the bomb to Jenkins where Williams got beat, am I the only one who saw Jenkins push off? He shoved Williams before going up for the catch.
  3. There's no flow or cohesion because there's no gameplan in place. Coaches are calling plays designed to see how OUR guys handle particular situations, not plays designed specifically stop the opponent.
  4. IIRC, the pats* were going to "steal" Welker away from miami using a poison pill in the RFA contract offer. They are scum for using those tactics, but the situation would have been avoided had Miami not been cheap asses and simply put 1st or 1st/3rd tender on welker. Another 500k would have been the small cost to go from a 2nd to a 1st round tender. http://www.boston.co...lker/?page=full
  5. More likely, Dixon just isn't that good.
  6. Do you remember the time Tavaris Jackson showed up at halftime and the Muddogs won the bourbon bowl?
  7. Regarding the LBs, Sheppard is running with the ones. There's 0 chance he gets cut, and more likely, he starts at MLB on Sept. 9. As for Bradham, he's been getting some reps now and then with the ones as well, based on camp reports. I dont think he's going anywhere. Carder is probably more likely for the PS tnan Bradham. Remember too, lots of playing time in preseason games isnt always a positive. It can mean the coaches want a long look, to see if you're worth a spot.
  8. WEO doesn't have a solid rebuttal, because the it was shown by kelly the dog that weo's "statistical analysis" of the supposed wildcat failures contained nothing but lies and falsehoods.
  9. Then why are you freaking out about signing them now as opposed to next feb?
  10. You're implying that if a team doesn't sign a player before their final contract year, then the player will hit FA, which is completely false. Plenty of players get re-signed after the season, but before they hit FA. So as long as the bills re-sign these guys prior to them becoming FAs, thats fine. There's little difference to signing them now or next february. They are very good players already, their value is high, its not going to drastically skyrocket based on 2012.
  11. Maybe they want to try Zebrie or Young at OG. These guys love versatile OLs.
  12. Given the amount if time roosevelt spent on the PS where he could have already been signed by the pats*, I doubt belicheat is waiting with baited breath for the bills to cut roosevelt. Lets face the truth, if Roosie wasn't from UB, no one would even give him a second thought. He'd be considered camp fodder by the board.

  14. After doing some looking, it apears that the flywire collar has ot be the same color as the base jersey color. So this affects every team with a different colored collar. You'd think Nike, with all their billions spent in R&D to develop these "technologically superior" jerseys, could have come up with a way to make the flywire collar a differnt color from the jersey. I have no idea why the white stripe on the collar has to be so wide. But for what its worth, there are many other fan boards from other teams that are complaining about the horrible looking collars.
  15. Of course Fred is better, but he's one of the best all-purpose backs in the league. As for CJs play, i didn't see anything that made me question any of his mental abilities on the field. The pass he got "spun-around" on wasn't the greatest throw by fitzy and it looked as if CJ was adjusting to try and catch it. The best thing is that if we choose to split Fred out wide, there should be minimal drop-off with CJ in the backfield. There were a few false starts in the 4th quarter that were highly questionable. Including 2 on the 3rd string center where you couldn't even tell that he moved. But the first team was a bit rough with the penalties. As for the QBs, Young's passing was marginally better than thigpen. He overthrew a wide open Clowney for what should have been a walk-in TD. The biggest difference between him and pigpen was that he kept some drives alive and made some great plays with his feet. For that reason alone, i'd keep him over thigpen. With Gailey's mind and young's athleticism, i'd trust that situation over thigpen as a backup.
  16. Still beating your old "Aisle 8 QB" drum? Give it up. The best way to get a franchise QB is to draft one as high as possible.
  17. What specifically are yoiu talking about when you say that Spiller didn't execute? I saw him split out wide on a few plays, and got the 2 short passes thrown his direction. I'm curious as to what was he supposed to execute that he didn't?
  18. You guys realize those collars are nike's fault too, dont you? All nike jerseys have the flywire collar. The new collar didnt work (from a technical design standpoint) with our tri-color collar from last season. The bills tried to keep the tri-color collar, but it looks like ass now because the white stripe is too big, due tothe flywire. They needed to ditch the tri-color and go with a simple royal blue collar. Other teams have the collar too. So nike deserves just as much blame.
  19. Word from jets camp yesterday was that tebow was in the middle of the brawl but connected on less than 40% of his punches thrown.
  20. All sports that involve judging are a disgrace, especially diving. Diving rules are "give china the gold no matter how poor they dive" and then let everyone else compete for the silver and bronze. When i see 4 people/teams make similar dives, and 3 of them score the about the same and the chinese score significant;y higher, you know something stinks.
  21. That's the second pats* OL to be a B word and retire instead of face the Bills OL. Toss is Jeff Otah who "failed" his physical when he realized he'd have to get torched by Mario Williams 2x per year, and we've got opposing OL men running scared.
  22. If you have to reach all the way back to 2004 to find a reason to trash rian lindell, then he's been doing pretty good.
  23. Brendan Hansen (USA) says hi. Won a bronze from lane 8 last night in the 100m breast.
  24. Good post. Too many people in this thread are taking players that didn't live up to their own personal expectations, and automatically taking that childish anger and twisting it into "those guys were malcontents and caused all the problems."
