Running Back Controversy? Not in My Eyes
Ramius replied to It's in My Blood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I swear Chan must have had fred on his fantasy team yesterday based on the asinine distribution of touches. -
Prominent head coaches that could get fired.
Ramius replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Sean Payton leave the Saints, there's only 1 destination for him: Dallas. His family is there, and Jerruh will pony up whatever it takes to get him there. -
Want a bigger reason to hate the poll/BCS? If ND ends up at unbeaten and #3, it won't be because of 2012. It'll be because of 2011. When ND lost to FSU in the Champs sports bowl last year, they dropped in the pre-season rankings this year to #24, with K-state checking in at #21. Had ND hung on to beat us in the Champs bowl last year, they'd likely have started this year above K-state, and probably be #2 now. So if ND gets shut out of the title game, they lost their opportunity last season. Gotta love that awesome BCS/polling system!

Sorry, but right now CJ is worlds better than Freddie. Touches should be 25-10 in favor of CJ. Our coach is a complete moron who insists on keeping our best offensive player on the bench. As for fault, who knows? But i do know one thing, Shitzpatrick manages to come up small almost every time the game is on the line. You can always count on him for a 4th quarter turnover when the game is in the balance. Plus, there were 3 pats on the screen near Graham. no way he's "open".

Nope, no Big Xii(-2) championship game, The candy asses at Texas were too worried about getting their asses kicked in the title game. (And they need 12 teams as well) I'm fine with any scenario that has at least 2 of the teams remaining unbeaten, and the overrated sec left out in the cold.

Awesome result. The best part was the homer CBS announcers practically crying on air when douchebag saban and the tide lost, and freaking out that there's a good shot of NO SEC team in the title game. However, i'm sure the new BCS Standings tomorrow will look something like this: 1. Texas A&M 2. Alabama 3. Georgia 4. Florida 5. LSU 6. South Carolina 7. Oregon 8. Kansas State 9. Notre Dame 10. Florida State

How about two 2-loss teams being ahead ahead of a 1-loss FSU and an unbeaten Louisville in the latest standings? I thought (or so i've been told) that the regular season means everything in college football?

Rob Ryan, the next head coach of the buffalo bills.
Ramius replied to buffalover4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I dont know a thing about Werner. I only live in tallahassee and have seen every game of his. He's a DE. Through and through. As for your posts, i'll give them more credibility when you stop posting with the mental acuity of a 4 year old. -

Bjoern Verner is most definitely NOT a 3-4 OLB. He's a hand in the dirt DE. He could play 3-4 DE before he played OLB. Try watching college ball and studying for a change instead of just seeing a player you like and starting 8 threads about how they are our next savior. -
Gotta love a system where by winning a game, you hurt yourself in the eyes of the computers.

So looks like we're in for movies like Stand by Gree-do, Twi'leks Gone Wild, and a documentary on the wild Rancor. I'll actually be a bit interested to see what they do with Eps 7-9, because there's already a Star Wars universe created for after Return of the Jedi, written by a variety of authors. I read a ton of those books when i was a middle school nerd, which followed Han, Leia, and Luke from the blowing up of the second Death Star until 20+ years after. I wonder if they're going to follow some of those books, or create their own stories.

The reason it was a crappy series? The Tigers had the 7th best record in the AL. A largely unworthy opponent that caught a lucky streak.

'Bama is the only SEC team that isn't rated about 5-10 spots higher than they deserve to be. UGA, UF, LSU, Miss St, all of them are no better than teams from the supposed "lesser" conferences. None of those teams pass the eye test and/or are significantly better than the next 10 teams. UF has averaged less than 3 yards per offensive play in all of their games against "good" teams. LSU is downright awful. Miss St is garbage. I'm sick of all these teams getting a free pass to the top of the rankings just because they happen to play in the SEC, and we're all just supposed to assume the SEC is good without actually paying attention to how these teams look on the field.
-
Man they've got a hell of a defense. That was a good win by them. And frankly they've got a better shot vs bama than someone like K-state. Down with the (overrated) SEC.

Well, I guess it's been a while since we had a "white guy afraid of black slang" thread, so I guess we were overdue. -
Jones is a system QB that's good in college but will flop in the NFL. Kid doesn't have what it takes at the next level.

If the Bills move they can go !@#$ themselves. You think anyone in Cleveland took solace or was excited when the Ravens won the Super Bowl? Hell no. Of course, i grew up in buffalo, so I identify with the city as much as the team. Its not a win for the franchise, its a win for the City. If we win, the team didn't win, it means that the city won and is on top of the sports world.

Hell, i don't like ND at all, and i'm even Irish Catholic. Never liked them. No one particular reason, but i do enjoy rooting against them. To me they're like the yankees, etc. But as i've grown, i realized that its better for college football when they're good. Plus, watching a 7-0 Nd team lose is much more satisfying than watching a 2-5 ND team lose.

And this is a complete fallacy brought to you by biased pollsters. He's just in a pissy mood because his program is is in a long, slow slide into oblivion. the "U" is about to become largely irrelevant on the football field.
-
Babe. Reggie. Albert. Pablo? One of these things doesn't seem to belong. Still a hell of a game by him. For those keeping track at home, Justin Verlander, for as good as he is, is now 0-3 with a 7.20 ERA in his World Series starts.

Tampa Bay has Brad Johnson when they won. While he was an average QB, he played at a pro-bowl level during their super bowl season. To say then didn't have a great QB is a fallacy. They got great QB play that season. -
IS MICH ST A LEGIT NATIONAL CONTENDER?
Ramius replied to MARCELL DAREUS POWER's topic in College Football
Perhaps we should change this thread to "Is Mich St a BOWL game contender?" 4-4, with Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Northwestern all coming up. They're not even a shoo-in to be bowl eligible. -
SEC is not as good as they are hyped this year. Just because the falsely inflated rankings say 1 thing, doesn't mean those teams are actually any good.
