dude, I'm thrilled with how our Dbs played yesterday. These are the COLTS....you're not going to keep them out of the endzone all game. Sooner or later they'll score on you. McGee is a 5'9" CB who was a 4th round pick as a SAFETY, who is coming off a few lousy performances, to pretty much shut down one half of the Colts WR tandem. No way am I going to hack on him for that play.... PS. Foolish schmoolish!!!

I'd have to see the replay again, or pics that were from ground level (and that weren't photoshopped!), but I think the ball had just enough height that McGee couldn't get to it anyway.

There is NO play where a team scores every time they run it....I don't understand that point at all On THIS particular play, the whole thing was exectued to near perfection. If the pass isn't perfect, it's either OOB, knocked down, or picked.

I never said he DIDNT' turn too late....but it's because Manning led Wayne before he turned around. In a short field like that, the receiver is always going to have the advantage in 1 on 1 coverage. When he makes his break, the CB has to react, which takes time.....just enough time where he's a TAD too late to get to the ball. It's perfect execution by the Colts. I think anyone who criticizes t-mac on that play is just nitpicking the game that our secondary had. And he did not start flapping after the ball hit Wayne's chest! He took one big swipe at the ball and was just a bit too late....but he DID turn around and he DID try and knock it down.

Eh, those pics don't show anything.....you have to see the actual play to appreciate it. He nearly falls over cause he was trying to knock the ball down! lol Peyton put the ball in there perfectly....Champ Bailey would have given up the TD, too.

Yep, it was a Bichon....My family has one of those, which only made me even more upset when I read it. Bichon's are about the friendliest dogs you'll ever come across. I'm glad to hear he got jail time.

You're totally wrong. I just watched the replay and McGee does BOTH of those things. He turns around and tries to knock it down. Go watch it again. The ball was perfectly placed and thrown early enough that McGee was a tad bit late.

so you think you guys will stick with Carr for the long haul? Is there a lot of support for a change over to Rosenfels? Or maybe bringing in someone else?

What's up with Carr, anyway?? Seems like he's got some good numbers this year, yet you put what's his name in the game and all of a sudden your offense is unstoppable. Why can't you guys win? Actually I'd have to rank yourself and Dan Gross as tied for the top spot....BGiM a very close second. Oh, and I think I'd put J.Coli up there in the mix, too.

I know, I can't believe that he allowed that TD to Manning....Manning never completes those passes! It doesn't matter that he tends to throw the ball before the receiver even knows it's coming....those timing patters are overrated. McGee sucks.
