Gotta love the stuff that comes out at comic-con...it always has a lot of meat on the bone. I can't believe it's less than three months until the premiere...wow, this year is FLYING by. I hope they split the season again like they did last year.

^^^^ well played

How come you say that? The fan base for that show is bigger now than ever...have you read something that said it was dead in the water?

Never heard that track...great choice! I love how we've already got such a mix of artists for this topic...very interesting! I know of him from the Garden State soundtrack...I'll have to give a listen to more of his stuff

Holy sh*t! lol I agree...good point.

Amen, brother...I'm holding out hope that Netflix will re-light the firefly like they have done with Arrested Development.

So yesterday I was watching movies when I was supposed to be working, and the film "Philadelphia" came on. Toward the end of the film, this song by Neil Young began playing, and even though I'd seen this movie before, I don't recall this particular music. As it played, I found myself being REALLY affected by it. The only word I can use to describe it is "haunting"...in the sense that it affected me on an emotional level and sort of threw me into some sort of nostalgic tailspin. I know that the majority of us love talking music, so I thought I'd see if you guys have any examples that would fall into this category. Feel free to define "haunting" in any way that makes sense to you...hopefully after you listen to this track you'll be able to get a feel for what I'm trying to get at. Here's the brilliant Neil Young performing the song live...

This team is going to be solid by the WC next year...the legend of Klinsi is in motion, baby!

My favorites as of now are: Ross Tucker Football Podcast, Colin Cowherd (it's sort of like a "best of" from each day's show), Dan Patrick, Mike Florio, and of course John Murphy. I have a few others I've subscribed to but haven't spent much time with yet.

I remember the first time I came across a tempurpedic. It was back in the early 90s, I believe, and it was at Brookstore in the Marketplace Mall (Rochester). I think they were using the NASA information in the signage, so we were pretty fascinated by it. I had never felt anything like that, and that experience stayed with me until I finally got around to ordering a memory foam mattress of my own. I also really enjoy my memory foam pillows. I have about four of those and they're very comfortable. Those tend to get a bit hotter than the mattress does, though, so I have to switch up during the night. lol...yeah, you have to buy Thomas Lee direct from the company. Amazon has some great silk comforters though...I'll never go back to any other kind.
-
One of the best investments you can make for a hotter mattress is getting a silk comforter. It will keep you perfectly balanced between hot and cool. I love mine. I'm actually a proponent of spending some money on nice bedding...I never had been previously, but now that I've gotten some Thomas Lee sheets in here and my silk comforter, I'm really sleeping well. Exactly...the one I got was known to be more on the firm side, as well, and I love it.

Yep, I'm pretty sure I saw Hannah in the previews for this season. I'm really hoping that the proverbial sh*t REALLY hits the fan...the potential is there to really end this on a huge note.

Oh wow, yeah that's ridiculous...that won't happen with the Sertas...I'm like an NFL lineman and haven't had any probs at all.

LOL@matching canoes That's awesome that Sams carries them...if you check them out, let me know how the new ones are!

I love it. I bought this one two years ago when Serta was just starting to re-badge the Sleep Innovations products (which are very, very highly reviewed on Amazon). I think they have a new line out that features their cool gel memory foam, so I'm sure those are even better. I never had a big problem with pressure points on the nicer pillow mattresses, but the memory foam ones seem to really just conform to you as you sleep and distribute pressure evenly from head to toe. The thing with memory foam is that typically you'll feel WORSE the first three days, because your body settles into it a bit differently. So I always tell people to give it a good week before they pass judgement on it. I haven't used a spring bed since 2004 and have no plans to go with anything else.

I'm a huge memory foam guy. Tempurpedic is great, but you'll pay out the rear. I went for the new Serta memory foam mattresses, which are actually made by a company called Sleep Innovations. Iv'e also had a topper from these guys: http://www.isoform.com/ It's an American company and one of only about three companies that manufacturer memory foam that is the same density as the Nasa standard (Tempurpedic also meets this standard). I've never been on a Sleep number bed, but I know people who seem to like them.

Have you ever had gas & heartburn so bad you screamed?

Did they rule out a hiatal hernia? May want to see if your doc would suggest a barium swallow/x-ray. -
That's my theory is well, and I hope I'm wrong cause I felt like episode 2 was telegraphing way too much. Seems to me the lady doc is wanting to wipe out as much of her past work as possible - or at least the stuff that could get her convicted - and she's involved Dex to help her out. So I was a bit let down with episode 2, but this past week's episode was back on track for me. I love that Deb has hit an emotional bottom and cannot contain her guilt anymore. I will really miss the show, as well.

I think about that literally every day...

Much Better Than Expected Receiving Corp.s

I think Robert Woods may have the polish to be productive in year one for sure, and listening to T.J. Graham on John Murphy's show a couple times this year has convinced me that he's ready to become an impact player, as well. Some of the other guys we'll have in camp are very intriguing, as well. The one thought I seem to have continually is that the Bills finally got it right with regard to the coaching staff. I really believe the Marrone/Pettine/Hackett regime will end up being thoroughly effective and will allow us to finally get back to being able to compete with anyone. It's the perfect situation to have a bunch of young guys to groom...I think they'll develop more quickly than expected. -
I know you already know this, but you're in the PERFECT city to continue an education if you so desired. I can't even tell you how much I loved hitting the SEPTA train each day that took me right to the front door of Temple U. Unbelievably fulfilling educational experience at that university, but of course the options are endless in Philly. I actually took one of the first online courses that Temple ever offered (1998), so I'm sure they have a solid online component to their course options. Even though the school I went to after Temple was more prestigious, there is just no comparison in terms of which experience was more enriching and which one I'm more proud to have been part of. Go Owls!
