  1. 78?!? Wow....I can't believe it. Shatner, Clint Eastwood, Dustin Hoffman...some greats that I've loved since childhood are really getting up there.
  2. H20 is not filtered, as we've all been led to believe. That's right...he's from the TAP!
  3. I like the fact that he's sort of a throwback to the 80s action star. He's great in an ensemble cast, or he can carry the film all on his own. I can't wait to see Crank 2 when it comes out later this year
  4. Saw this in the theaters a while back...anyone who enjoyed the first two will love this one. All three films are entertaining as hell!
  5. Supposedly the Bills are serious about allocating as much money as possible to free agent signings and contract extensions, and part of the way they're doing that is by cutting the budget for halftime shows. Sorry if this has already been posted, but apparently this is the new halftime entertainment scheduled for 7 of the 8 home games (they were banned from Canada)
  6. No sh--, man...I'm like, why is this guy talking about enemas? (just messin, Poeticlaw)
  7. Amen to that, Bill. I'm as tired as anyone else with "rebuilding mode". But if my two choices are "stick with a QB/Coach that has proved to be ineffective" or "blow it up yet again and try something different", I'll take the latter every single time.
  8. Where is the history of TO causing that sort of result with a QB? Garcia became a probowler...as did Romo...and McNabb went to a SB with him (and may have been a probowler, too...can't recall). So yeah, if the passing offense isn't more prolific with TO a part of it, then I'd be most likely to put the blame on TE's shoulders and want the guy out of here anyway.
  9. I saw the Bills mentioned three times in fifteen mins on SC this morning...for those of us who live outside of NY, and considering the fact that the three mentions had nothing to do with a Bills RB getting into trouble, that was pretty damn cool. Rock on, TO!
  10. Exactly right. If we signed the guy to a 4-year 40mil with 15mil SB, yeah, there's potential for it being a pretty stupid move. But a one year deal for a guy with big personality on a team struggling to find it's way back to relevance? It's a great move, IMO... If it doesn't work out, big deal...if it does, then we're in for a much more interesting season than it likely would have been otherwise.
  11. I don't see any possible way this could be a "disaster of Hindenburg proportions"... We're a team that is mentioned every year as being a top candidate for relocation. We haven't made the playoffs in a decade. Aside from our fast start last season, we're pretty much irrelevant on the NFL stage. What's the worst T.O. could do? Drag our record from 7-9 down to 6-10? Screw the team by helping us earn our way to the 9th pick in the draft instead of the 11th? I don't see any downside in signing the guy...
  12. No means "yes".
  13. Finally got caught up with Monday's show...it's 6:55am Saturday morning and my heart is still pounding from what I just watched. This is some amazingly intense story telling...awesome season!
  14. Wow, if this project pans out as he envisions it, it has the potential to be amazing!
  15. I'm more worried about our first string QB than I am our 4th string receiver. The two teams I saw every game of last season were the Bills and Falcons. Matt Ryan is so far above and beyond Trent Edwards it's not even funny. The conclusion I came to after watching nearly every snap for both of these QBs was that vision and anticipation was the most stark difference. Ryan happens to also have a much bigger arm, but so does JP Losman. When we finally find a QB who can operate the offense with proper awareness and anticipation, then I feel you'll see a player like Roscoe start to be more viable...hands of stone and all.
  16. It's not what Roscoe has done, it's what the QBs haven't.
  17. Who the fug is Drew Stafford?
  18. Last night's episode was my favorite so far...this is some funny sheeat!
  19. Yep, cause as nauseated as it makes me to say it, Brady is probably the best QB in the leauge when it comes to understanding and anticipating routes and breaks. So many times on a replay you can see the ball being thrown to where the receiver will be by the time it gets there...he's not just waiting in the pocket until someone is wide open. Roethlisburger has some skills in this area too; it's what keeps him from becoming a Bledsoe-ish QB, IMO.
  20. In my opinion, the biggest problem with our QB spot has been their lack of ability to anticipate. Edwards has shown flashes here and there, and maybe he'll improve as his confidence improves, but the biggest advantage a guy like Roscoe will have are his ridiculously fast breaks and cuts. Until we have someone behind center who can anticipate a route, I don't see a guy like Roscoe really shining as a wideout. Until we have a QB who can read the defense, anticipate the route, and then deliver the ball BEFORE having to wait for someone to be wide open, I think our woes on offense will continue.
  21. No doubt. This special also is part documentary, so you get to see a little bit of what's going on back stage and what's in this guy's head. I love the solo acoustic stuff, and I like when he's got the full band behind him, but the Trio is my favorite. That drummer is ridiculous!
  22. I'm a marginal fan of John Mayer the solo artist, but when he gets together with the John Mayer Trio, it's some REALLY good stuff. I have one of their CDs and it's become a favorite, and tonight I'm watching them perform on HDNet. These are some talented cats!
  23. Congrats on the new addition!
