Anyone watch the Iowa/Penn St game last night? I know Ferentz was on the radar before....I'd love to bring him in here now.
-
who the fug wants to "keep it close" anyway? Hey Dickballs, let's go ask Jim Kelly if his goal was to ever keep it close. Enough of this already....

Yeah, there is usually one team who treats the locals like crap, and it's very embarrassing. (The one biatch from the cheerleader team last season was a major c**t!) Aside from that, this show rules!

I hated the hiring of Dickballs to begin with. Let's get a winner in here for cripes sake. -

Our Pregame Show week 3 Bills v Saints

Needs more Focker. -
Just finished watching the game on the NFL replay thing (which I love)... This game wasn't nearly as close as the score indicated. Leftwich hit a few nice passes (his arm seems much more lively this year) for decent-sized gains, but the Bills basically dominated this one. I'm not sure that's saying a lot, cause TB isn't a very good football team right now...but it got us on the right track and allowed us to exorcise some demons from last week. I thought it was great to see the way the fans treated Leodis. I just wish he hadn't gotten injured. That makes me very nervous It was great to see TO make some plays, but he needs to quit dropping passes. I know he's got a rep for that, but he's dropped a few pretty crucial balls in the first two weeks. If we draft another corner next season, I'm gonna kick dick in his balls. We need to continue finding talent for our front 7 on defense. I'm glad we have eighteen other DBs ready to come in when Leodis, or whoever else, goes down....but just as we're seeing near immediate improvement to the interior of our Oline, we need to do the same with our defensive front 7. Aside from his floater, Trent played really well. I still wish he'd anticipate his receivers breaks just a bit more, but it's nice to see him take some shots down field. I'm becoming surprisingly comfortable with Freddy back there. I'm not in favor of demoting Marshawn, but I am definitely in favor of them splitting time more equally. I don't think I ever realized how good Freddy's vision was. That's one question mark for Marshawn, though I suspect if Marshawn would learn to be just a bit more patient his vision would be more of an asset to him. But Freddy is the real deal...I'm thrilled we signed him to an extension. Kudos to the Oline....it's really nice seeing Trent have a pocket to utilize. We can do better, but not a bad effort today. Next week is the real test.

Thanks And I agree...I like what I saw last night, and those of you who paid a little closer attention than I did seem to be giving pretty high marks, too. Having a dominant Oline will help this team get back to the promised land. -
I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that we have a team full of players still in diapers. Look at some of the better teams around the league....they have established vets at key positions. Contrast that with our team and it's pretty clear to me why we still make so many boneheaded mistakes. We have a really nice group of young players. If we can mature them as a group, re-sign our key FAs when the time comes (instead of always having to find a replacement via the draft), and get to the point where we have a team that is reaching their prime near the same time, we'll be more successful.

So has anyone googled her?? Tell me she's not damn near perfect.

Amen, brother. Any Bills fan who isn't used to taking one or two shots to the balls each season should go find another team to root for. It just comes with the territory of being a Bills fan. I loved watching all the announcers, former pros, etc., have to basically admit that the Bills were much better than they envisioned. For Berman to predict a 31-17 score, or whatever he said, that's just preposterous. We showed up....but we didn't finish the deal. If I were Jauron, I'd call everyone back in the morning and have a "talk it out" session. Get ALL of this loss out of their system, hate the way it feels, own it, and focus on kicking the hell out of the Bucs.

I have no trouble admitting that I felt kicked in the balls by the last five mins of this game, but I honestly was shocked that we played as well as we did. I mean, hell, we're Bills fans. We are accustomed to getting kicked in the balls at least once a year. The Elam FG a couple years ago....Nick fuggin Folk....tonight....etc. It's just part of the territory. They probably should put a pair of big, red, hairy, inflamed balls under the feet of the charging Buffalo on the helmets just to make the team emblem more accurate. But anyway, how many people actually thought we'd take the Pats on in their house and basically have the game in hand with five mins to go? And why is nobody mentioning Shawn Nelson?? That guy's TD ws fantastic, and I think he's going to be a great option for Trent. But the Oline is very interesting to me, and I hope that they gel and stay healthy. -

That's awesome. When they put the graphic up that this was the first time in history that three first-time starters were on the line at the same time, I freaked out. But it did seem that the interior held up really well, since Trent actually had a pocket to step up into this time. Last year there was no where for him to go and he'd just get hammered and fumble. It was nice to see that Trent had a pocket, and I think there were a few times where he was like, "holy sh--, a POCKET!" I think just about all of us have agreed that the two lines have been the main reason why we have sucked for so long, so it's hard for me to not feel pretty good about where this group could be by mid-season. -
You mean we're screwed if we hold teams to only 13 pts for all but the last 5 mins of the game? A lot of people consider the Pats to be the best offense in the league, and we had the game won.

I'm awaiting a back procedure tomorrow and have a bunch of narcotics running through my system, so I didn't get to pay close attention to our record-setting (3 first time starters) Oline. Can anyone give a detailed analysis of how well they played? Particularly the rooks? I know D.Bell had a couple of boneheaded illegal formation penalties, but given the circumstances it would appear they held up relatively well. Thoughts?

Gabby was smokin' hot, especially when she was out on the town. IIRC, the Donald hit that a few times.
