That's exactly what I thought, as well. McNair threw a much nicer ball based on this highlight tape, but this kid seems to be VERY active and can threaten in several ways. Who knows, maybe he's got the raw materials that Hackett and the boys can shape and mold into a solid player for us.

Yep, it sure does...I wasn't on the EJ bandwagon pre-draft...glad I'm not making decisions at One Bills Drive. (Although I would have gotten the Russel Wilson thing right!) It is impressive to see the guy we "reached for" according to all the experts playing solid when he's been out there, especially compared to a few of the others. Geno just looks completely lost. BTW, you clearly were the first on the Leinart signing...I saw that!

I guess we couldn't really expect more...it's like physically abusing someone and then expecting them to not be socially awkward or mal-adjusted afterwards. We pretty much hammered him when we played the Cards.

Actually, maybe this is a brilliant signing...we can sacrifice Leinart as the "Suh food" for our last preseason game. Maybe that will make Suh less interested in our other guys.

I was skeptical of the kid at first, admittedly...but he's truly proved to be a football player, pure and simple. This is going to be a huge year for him. He'll make mistakes, for certain...but I have no doubt that we'll all be able to watch our next "signature" LB evolve over the next four months - hopefully maybe even five.

That's where I really am not sure...I'll probably never be in the camp that says, "wow, this stuff is actually true!", but it's also hard for me to say it's total bunk. I'm somewhere in the middle, so I just sort of chalk it up as entertainment for the time being.

Shut yo mouth, Gumby. Kiko had a play yesterday where he cleanly stood up Helu as he was coming up the middle. I've have been hearing people say that Kiko doesn't look as big as he actually is, and this play proved it to me. Helu was running at will on us on most of his carries, but not on this one.
