  1. I just re-watched the sack. EJ had 3 guys on his back, but got up quickly and jogged to the sideline. He didn't re-enter the game. Realistically we have only two weeks for EJ to get healthy in time for NE. I can't see him getting the start if he doesn't practice all week leading up to the opener.
  2. LOL! But what if I get 53/53? That would be something truly amazing. Almost God-like!! LOL
  3. I hope his "hammy" keeps him out until next year. Lol. My guess is Da'Rick just isn't up to speed, mentally, on this system. He doesn't have the luxury of a huddle where he can get some help from teammates. He has to know the system 100% because of the no huddle. Maybe he just is quite there yet. His physical skill set is unquestioned. For that reason alone I'd keep him. IR would be perfect.
  4. I had Searcy as a cut until someone pointed out to me that there's actually 53 guys on a NFL roster, not 52. Lol.
  5. OP, Maybe you're unfamiliar with EJ's college career, but he was the same way in college. He threw short safe passes most of the time. He still averaged 8.7 YPA precisely because he does go deep, occasionally. Be patient. He'll open it up when it's there for the taking. BTW. Brady won three Super Bowls by drinking and dunking his way down the field. Ever since he started going deep on the regular he stopped winning rings.
  6. Kolb is garbage, but he is a vet and he doesn't cost too much. I believe most of his salary is tied into playing time and bonuses. It would be a shock to me if he doesn't make the team.
  7. Sorry teams around the NFL, but we're trying to destroy a culture of losing around here. If that means going all out in the preseason, so be it. We have to learn how to win. We have to love winning. We need to create a new identity in this league. Let people know we ain't messing around anymore. We're preparing for battle and the best way to do that is to practice like real bullets are flying. So, sorry, Frazier, we had to pummel your team into the ground. Deal with it.
  8. Oops on the roster size blunder. LOL. Maybe Searcy makes it.
  9. I've seen enough. Here's my prediction on our top 52. QB Manuel Kolb Tuel RB Spiller Jackson Choice Summers TE Chandler Gragg Smith WR Johnson Woods Graham Goodwin Easley Smith Hogan OL Glenn Brown Wood Urbik Pears Hairston Young Legursky DL M. Williams K. Williams Dareus Carrington Branch Ross Blatnick Gilbert LB Hughes Lawson Alonso Moats Bradham Dowtin Scott DB Gilmore McKelvin Brooks Rogers Butler Byrd A. Williams D. Williams Robey ST Hopkins Powell Sanborn Practice Squad Kaufman Chibane Meeks Pough D. Rogers: I doubt that he will clear waivers, but if he does he'll be on the PS.
  10. I'm going to try to create a great QB using only mediocre quarterbacks. Stature: Vince Young Pocket Presence: Doug Flutie Arm Strength: JaMarcus Russell Accuracy: Chad Pennington Scramble Ability: Mike Vick Decision Making: Ryan Fitzpatrick Leadership: Tim Tebow Swagger: Scrubs don't have swag
  11. We're all pulling for you, Jimbo. Cancer stepped to the wrong mofo.
  12. I will check it out then. Hopefully we use that additional space (if available) to help fill out the roster. Like another poster said, we can use some help at OG, CB, ILB, and TE. If we can address those areas I believe we can make the playoffs this year.
  13. That's what I thought too until I read on Rotoworld that the Falcons will gain extra cap space on June 1st for the release of Tyson Clabo. Falcons waiting until June to sign Seymour? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000206996/article/richard-seymour-atlanta-falcons-waiting-for-june-1?campaign=Twitter_atl
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the Bills gain an additional $7 million dollars in cap space on June 1st, because we designated Fitzpatrick as a June 1st release? If so, who will the Bills use that extra money on? I'm guessing Jairus Byrd and possibly another offensive lineman and possibly another linebacker, assuming some cap strapped teams release players at those positions for cap relief.
  15. Don't get me wrong. Elvis has made some great tracks, but to be considered the "King of Rock-N-Roll" makes him overrated, IMO. He wasn't that good.
  16. Don't forget the Dolphins' game in Buffalo. He had two picks, I believe, preventing a potential Miami comeback.
  17. Before anyone panics about this comment from Hackett, remember EJ is still the same guy the coaching staff and front office fell in love with pre-draft. They knew what they were getting.
  18. Ha ha ha ha! Check the post date. I posted this before the draft. I love EJ Manuel. I just never in a million years thought the Bills would take him. Especially since I liked him. They never take anyone I like... Until now. If I can do it all over again, now that the draft is over, I'd say we will win 8 games.
  19. What is wrong with some of you people? I never suggested SJ13 should lose his starting spot. I merely mentioned all the speed that would be on the field when SJ is either injured or resting. Good grief.
