  1. Schefter announced it too. It must be true. Screw em. He sucks anyways.
  2. According to Adam Schefter they are now open to the idea of trading Jairus.
  3. EJ plays like a rookie, but he doesn't look like one. I love the way he answered the bell after the Jets game. He worked hard after practice to get things right and it looked like it paid off. We're getting a lot of field goals, but with some experience those will become TDs. I'd rather use out pick on a top notch tight end or G.
  4. The whole idea of a no-huddle offense at this time is completely idiotic. Our defense is depleted by injury. We need to slow things down and only go to the quick pace offense as a change-up. Even if our defense were healthy I'd recommend the same thing. I'd like to see the Bills start out on offense with both Freddie and CJ on the field at the same time. Huddle up for a few plays. I'd also like to see Gragg in there with them and Stevie and Woods at receiver. Run a few plays in an I formation and then change up to the no huddle once the opposition has their base defense on the field. Spread the field out by sending Gragg and CJ out wide. No more of this bunch formation crap either. Create some running room by spreading the field out. This way you can get Spiller matched up with a linebacker, a battle he should win rather easily. Gragg has the speed and athleticism to split out wide and be effective in this role, too. The whole idea of the no-huddle is to create mismatches, but if that's all you do then the defense will be ready for it from the start. Change it up, Hackett!
  5. If we were healthy we would have won that game easily. How's that? Readable?
  6. So many mistakes were made in the final season that there was no way to have a good ending. Trying to give Dexter emotions when he's supposed to be emotionless was their first fatal mistake. That pathetic look he had on his face acting like he cares really got on my nerves, too. I couldn't wait for the show to end. What made this show entertaining in the beginning, IMO, was his dark humor. That was all gone this year. Replaced by an "in love" Dexter. If it were up to me the finale would have ended with Dexter on Deb's table. That would've been cool.
  7. He sure did. He knew the police were listening in. That's why he said he and he alone was responsible for everything, to clear Skylar of any wrong doing. In the real world though Skylar would definitely be in deep trouble with the law. She had knowledge of her husband's criminal activity and she laundered money. No way she would get away unscathed.
  8. If this were true then we should be the greatest team ever by now. We have mass injuries every year.
  9. Whaley is a new GM in this league. He needs to send a message to Byrd and whoever else wants to play this game. Don't trade him. Don't pay him next year either. Franchise his ass again. Make him suffer so no one else tries this crap again.
  10. In all seriousness I'll take him. Skelton, not Tebow.
  11. EJ must be ready to go for week one. Blatnick was a surprise to me.
  12. We're at 50 now. Looks like we're going shopping.
  13. You mean we can own them both?? Lol. Skelton released.
  14. I've seen enough. Here's my prediction on our top 52. EDITED 8/31/13. So far I only have two players that were released by the Bills. The rest are on injured reserve. QB Manuel Kolb -IR Thad Lewis Tuel RB Spiller Jackson Choice Summers TE Chandler Gragg Smith WR Johnson Woods Graham Goodwin Easley Smith-IR Spot taken by DL Izaan Hogan OL Glenn Brown Wood Urbik Pears Hairston-IR-Welch Young Legursky DL M. Williams K. Williams Dareus Carrington Branch Ross Blatnick Gilbert-CUT-Corbin Bryant Troup-I didn't have Troup making the team. LB Hughes Lawson Alonso Moats Bradham Dowtin Westerman-I didn't have this one. DB Gilmore McKelvin Brooks Rogers Butler-CUT-Meeks Byrd A. Williams D. Williams Robey Searcy ST Hopkins Powell Sanborn Practice Squad Kaufman Chibane Meeks Pough D. Rogers: I doubt that he will clear waivers, but if he does he'll be on the PS. BTW. The Bills aren't at 53 yet. Two more cuts coming.
  15. Hank did leave work early. Maybe he's heading to Walt's house and finds Jesse there just before he lights the match.
  16. I believe we'll learn a lot about who's starting the opener on Thursday night. Would the Bills risk Tuel getting injured by playing him more than one series in the ever so meaningless 4th preseason game? If they do use him for a half or so I believe EJ will get the nod against NE.
  17. Time to exorcize the demons! Once upon a time an unknown QB named Hostetler defeated a high octane Bills offense led by Jim Kelly in the biggest game of them all. What was that QB's first name? Jeff. What's Tuels' first name? Jeff. Who was standing on the Giants' sideline that day? Bill Belichick. Who will be on the opposition's sidelines when the Bills face the Pats* in the opener? Bill Belichick. Time to return the favor. Yeah, I'm grasping at straws. I'm going on record in saying Marrone's statement is all smoke and mirrors. What do we have to gain by telegraphing whom will be the starter come opening day? Why say anything at all? Unless your intent is to hoodwink someone, I don't see how we benefit from spilling the beans.
  18. Wonderful. Just wonderful. If you didn't believe in curses or jinxes I'm sure you do now. The season hasn't even started yet and it feels like it's already over.
  19. I live in Miami and from what I understand Hogan was an okay practice player but disappeared in the preseason matchups. Kaufman didn't do anything special enough, IMO, to be placed on someone's active roster. Especially since he has to learn a new system.
  20. This decision is a no-brainer to me in its simplest form. Kaufman and Hogan can be placed on the practice squad. Da'Rick can't. Keep Rogers.
  21. Wish you well, Lindell, but I have to admit I'm glad we're getting rid of most of those players involved in the last ten years of ineptitude around here.
  22. EJ out 2 to 4 weeks according to bleacher report.
