  1. I'm expecting a call any minute now for RG. It's my turn.
  2. I can't agree more. Do you think they're going to scrap it this year? I don't.
  3. I'm not buying into that excuse that Cyrus needs to get acclimated to the NFL level. He's playing against camp fodder. It's almost like he's still in college.
  4. I didn't make excuses for EJ. I just said give him a chance to shine. Let him play ball with his best receivers and lineman. Why don't you try taking me on point for point? Tell me I'm wrong. You can't, because Marrone and Hackett are inept and you know it.
  5. Jerry Crafts is sitting at home somewhere saying how bad Cyrus is.
  6. I wonder what Chan's up to. Seriously. I'd bring him in to run the offense ASAP. Hackett can go back to quality control for all I care.
  7. Let's not over-exaggerate when it comes to Stephon, please. He'll be fine. His stats towards the end of last year were that of an elite caliber CB. If this continues in the regular season then we can worry. Two catches don't make you a bum.
  8. I'm really starting to dislike Marrone. He's got a real problem with cutting off the nose to spite the face. Let me explain why I feel this way. 1. Doug's attachment to Hogan. Anybody with eyes can see Woods is clearly superior to Hogan in every way. Maybe Hogan practices harder or is a better practice player than Robert is, but when it's game time "7-11" is a no-show and #10 puts on a show. Give Woody more time with the ones, Doug! 2A and 2B. Give EJ a fair chance to shine. A. It was already bad enough that Sammy exited the game because of injury, now you want to pull our second best receiver in favor of camp fodder? The lack of use of Mike Williams in favor of TJ Graham only made matters worse for Manuel. TJ isn't making this team, if he does, I'll be surprised, so why give him so much time with the first string? Graham is garbage. Why can't Doug see that? Give EJ some good targets to throw to! Please! B. The offensive line How do we expect EJ to score if he has Doug freaking Legursky at LG? Legursky should be playing in the 4th quarter, not the first. He's trash. We're trying to develop a young QB here. This offensive line experimentation crap has gone on for far too long. Yes, I realize Cordy is out and we can't really line up our top 5 just yet, but that still doesn't excuse benching Cyril in favor of DL. Didn't Marrone see enough from #59 last year to know that he sucks? Richardson had a great week of practice and you reward him how? By starting Legursky? It doesn't stop there either. I think Hairston should get some playing time with the ones at right tackle over Pears. Hairston is a natural right tackle, anyways, why play him on the left? We don't get any push on the right side in the running game and Pears is a big reason for that. He can't run block. We want to be a running team, right? Then get some road graders out on the field. 3. Scheme Scrap the no-huddle. EJ isn't ready for that. He's already proven he can't handle too many responsibilities at one time, so help him out by taking away one of them. If we continue to struggle on offense, our defense will ultimately pay the price for it. 4. Play calling Hackett sucks. I hate his play calling. He's obsessed with those ridiculous shot-gun sweeps. They don't work, moron, try something else! Everyone knows we're going to run the ball inside the ten yard-line, too. Do we ever throw the ball into the end-zone? The read-option? Really? That garbage was useless last season. I'm losing faith in our head coach more and more every week. His evaluation of talent or lack thereof is a major concern. We won't improve if we head down the same path as last year and so far I don't see an improvement in coaching from last year. Time is running out. Get your act together!
  9. Poloncarz has an agenda. He said exactly what that agenda is in his interview if you listened carefully. He wants bidders to keep their bids low so they can afford to fund their own stadium. If the county/state has to foot the majority of the bill then this team is as good as gone. That's why he's speaking up now. In the meantime I say TPTB should look into a plan to retrofit the Ralph. Instead of paying $1B for a new facility we can spend $500M and upgrade the place. Maybe even add a roof. Poloncarz also said he's not sure who will purchase the new luxury suites. PSLs? Forget about that. We're too broke of a town for those. Maybe if they keep it cheap. No more than $300 for the best seats in the house. After the interview I felt very pessimistic. We need a Santa Claus type to save the team. Hopefully Pegs is the guy. I can't imagine any billionaire being that generous. That's not how they got their wealth. Time will tell, I guess. Oh yeah, I almost forget, screw you Goodell and the rest of the league. You're a bunch of greedy, filthy pigs. When is enough, enough?
  10. Welcome, Bears Fan. I'll take you on point for point. Schwartz was 3 & 7 against the Bears? That only makes me even more confident in a Bills win. When they review game film of Schwartz's defense they'll be looking at Detroit games. This defense is way better than that, even on the d-line. Suh is great, but I think Kyle is better. The rest of our front 4 is better than theirs too. Now for the rest of the D. It's not even close. Our back seven is far more superior to Detroit's. When they see Schwartz's defense on film they'll get a rude awakening on game-day. While I expect Marshall and Jeffrey to put up stats, I don't see them dominating. You got Allen? Great, but Father Time is undefeated. He's only getting older, not better. He finished strong last year but he started-off pretty pedestrian. The rest of your defense is unimpressive. The fourth fewest sacks allowed? Deceiving statistic. According to bleacher report the Bears allowed 45 hits, and 180 hurries. That's good for 30th in the league. The credit goes to the QBs for not taking sacks, not your offensive line. The Bills have the better pass rush than any team you faced last year. The Rams were the closest. I agree with you on your last two points. Your receivers are way better than ours and you have the homefield advantage. I say the Bills win a close one. The ugly Cutler will show up against our defense. That'll be the difference.
  11. It's refreshing to see a Canadian happy to see the Bills stay in Buffalo. What really would be nice is if a group of fans from Canada come together in some sort of fan alliance to keep the team here. That would attract some serious attention.
  12. Yeah well that's a Hollywood storybook ending for ya, right there. In real-life Bud Fox would've had to just take it in the rear-prison style. Lol
  13. And your point is? Israel is well known for their security. How in the world did that assassination even happen? It was an inside job, you better believe that. Ever since then there hasn't been a legitimate peace talking partner. At least Egypt proved they wanted peace by proceeding with peace talks with Israel.
  14. 3rd is a smart guy with a lot of opinions, that's why I find it odd that he refuses to answer the question. Does Israel benefit from a true peace with the Palestinians and why?
  15. The same could be said about the Israelis. The only difference is one group is actually doing it slowly but surely. Just look at the maps of the area since '48. It'll tell you everything you need to know about that. The proof is there. Palestinians in Gaza catch a lot of heat for voting in Hamas and rightly so, but the Israeli people did the same thing by making a known hawk who's against a two state solution their prime minister. Hamas needs to be made irrelevant. Promise the Palestinian people no settlements and no blockade if and only if Hamas gets overthrown and you will see another intifada, only this time it will be aimed at Hamas, not Israel. Well they did assassinate the one guy (Rabin) that was willing to do so.
  16. Care to elaborate? If the blockade is lifted and all settlements in the West Bank are dismantled my answer is yes, but since that's not gonna happen anytime soon we will continue to see violence. I couldn't agree more. They have everything to lose and nothing to gain. As of now the Israelis have the best of both worlds. They control the Palestinian people without any of the financial responsibilities that come along with it. They can also continue to build their illegal settlements. Why would they want a change from the status-quo? People should keep this in mind when we talk about this conflict.
  17. I agree. These mystery bidders are a complete fabrication to drive up the price. Just look at the sequence of events that led up to these unknown bidders. First we heard JBJ and Trump violated the NDA and then we heard about the new bidders. When names don't get leaked it's because people are afraid to violate the NDA, but in reality there are no new bidders. Maybe there's a couple, such as the guy from LA and Golisano, but that's it. I doubt there's 3 more groups out there.
  18. Honest question, fellas, do you think Israel will benefit from a real and genuine peace with the Palestinians?
  19. To those of you that are panicking. I, too, would love to see Pegs win the bid, but as of now we don't really know if he is indeed the highest bidder. It's all just speculation. MS and the trust are doing their due diligence. Yes, the wait is painful to us hardcore fans, but it's business. God forbid something happens to Terry P or if he decides to back away from the negotiating table, they (the trust) need a fallback plan. Until we know for sure just take solace in the fact that it appears the trust is looking for an owner that will keep the team where it belongs, here in Buffalo. There are 5 more bidders, but this shouldn't worry us, because as of today the JBJ and TO group are being left out of the sales process because they haven't sufficiently assured the trust that they will stay in Buffalo. I trust TP and Jim's group equally. Jim Kelly won't move the team further than Niagara Falls and TP will probably build a stadium downtown. I'll take either one.
  20. Thanks, guys. I'll spend the extra 5 bucks in your honor!
  21. Is that a fact? How do we know Ralph's widow didn't add that stipulation. Just wondering.
  22. BS. If Hamas did indeed kidnap those kids they would've used them for trade to free Palestinian prisoners. Check their history. They always claim responsibility when they do something. You like to believe them then, though, right? Well then believe them when they deny it. If not then lets see some evidence that supports Israel's claim. Until then, use some common sense.
  23. There's something fishy going on in Syria. It's a shame. It's tragic. The only difference I can think of is one country is occupied and the other isn't.
  24. $225M for iron dome. They also supplied them with close to $700m in weaponry. I'm trying to find the link. I'll post it when I find it.
