  1. I heard the same thing about Arafat too.
  2. Under current circumstances, yes, you'll have those issues. If Palestine is given their own state that stuff will subside over time. Terrorist groups prey on the desperate and the poor.
  3. Not the same thing. Not at all. Can't compare the two.
  4. Do you honestly believe Palestine is a real threat to Israel? I mean a real genuine threat? Because I don't think so. Not now, not ever. Israel has one of the strongest militaries in the world. They have nukes, too. What would Japan or Germany be like today if no one ever gave them a real chance?
  5. Maybe not right away, but over time yes. I believe a two state solution is the best way to achieve peace. Building new settlements isn't. Stealing water isn't. Shutting down borders isn't. Checkpoints isn't. Withholding funds isn't. Cutting down olive trees isn't. BTW, The best chance of peace was killed with the assignation of Rabin, by the hands of an Israeli, I might add. [edited] My point is Netanyahu's ways got them into a war, anyways.
  6. Enough with the sarcasm. You want to talk about trauma? They witnessed all their surrounding neighbors get thrown into chaos? How convenient this guy left out Gaza. While Palestine is currently being wiped off the map, too. They won't even let the Palestinians keep their tiny 22% for themselves. Here's some real trauma: http://www.vocativ.com/world/palestine/gaza-population/
  7. I know. He's not. I feel bad for the Israelis. They have it rough.
  8. So that's it then, huh? Just a QB change? New coaching staff had nothing to do with it?
  9. Are you suggesting that Chiefs team is as talented as ours? Because they're not. Not even close. Our receivers will win one on one battles and get open. McCoy can make people miss. They will make any one of our QBs look better than they are if the oline holds up their end.
  10. I always found it odd that terrorists are most effective at killing other muslims. Doesn't matter who they kill though because we're all deserving of life. Those guys need to be dealt with once and for all.
  11. As it turns out the defense is elite. I wouldn't mind waiting another year to see this offense become equally as deadly.
  12. I'm loving this discussion. Read the whole thread before replying. There is no wrong or right in this thread. Everyone makes strong points, but I tend to lean towards those that place the onus on the offensive line over the QB. I'm concerned about the oline because they were lousy at both pass pro and run blocking last year. I'm no offensive line expert and maybe you guys can clear this up for me, but is it true we used a zone-blocking scheme last year? It would seem to me that's the bad way to go with a large and immobile offensive line. Especially in the running game, am I right? Another question I have is about pass protection. Does the zone blocking concept apply to pass protection as well and what kind of effect does it have on pass-pro, if any at all? Assuming we did indeed run a zone blocking scheme and it wasn't a good fit with our personnel then maybe a change to a power scheme is all we need in order to maximize our line play. Does Greg and Aaron utilize a power blocking scheme and if not what do they use? Let me get back to the topic at hand. The Bills will try to run the ball and the defense will be geared to stop us from doing so. They will dare our QB to beat them. This is where our new weapons benefit us most. Assuming teams double Sammy and focus on the running game then that means Clay, Harvin, Woods, and McCoy will all be facing one on ones. These guys should be able to make life easy on any QB we start, but it all comes down to blocking. We struggled mightily against Watt (who doesn't) and Mack last year. We can't afford to have one guy be such a disruption against us, because that usually leads to the rest of the line struggling. Also our running backs were routinely met by defenders behind the line of scrimmage all last season. If this doesn't get corrected then 10-6 is the absolute most we can expect as long as our defense remains elite. After all these changes we can expect a one game improvement, can't we? So far much hasn't changed on the oline. We've added Incognito, but he's a mystery after having missed all of last year. Hendy, Cyrus and Cyril aren't rookies anymore so hopefully they improve. As of now an effective and successful scheme change and maturation is all we can hope for. If this line can block effectively then I see going 12-4.
  13. LaCanfora makes a living out of repeating things he's heard. I doubt he's qualified to make his own conclusions. What he says mean nothing to me.
  14. I don't care who won. It's one of those things like, meet your new boss, same as your old boss. At this point I'd be happy if they'd just cease building new settlements.
  15. It was definitely after filming.
  16. Olivier Vernon will be a free agent in '16. Pass rushers are costly. They need to re-sign him because Wake is getting up there in age. Tannehill will cost Miami $15M next year.
  17. Anybody watching HBO's series "The Jinx. The life and deaths of Robert Durst"? Compelling stuff. Don't read any further if you intend on watching it. Warning: Spoilers This is a pretty remarkable true story about a millionaire who was accused of three murders. He's suspected of killing his wife, who vanished, one of his closest friends and his neighbor while he was on the run. He has only been tried for the murder of his neighbor and got off. He actually dismembered this guy's body and threw it into the river and yet the jury still found him not-guilty. I used to think OJ's jury was the world's dumbest 12 people ever assembled until I found out about this group. During the 6 part series, HBO questioned this guy in interviews and revealed some evidence regarding the murder of his friend and confidant, Susan Berman, who took a bullet to the back of her head in her home. There wasn't any forced entry and it appears whomever killed her was a trusted individual. Shortly after her murder the police received a letter that only stated the word "cadaver" and Beverly Hills was misspelled on the envelope. Robert Durst was in California at the time of her murder and he left immediately after. During Episode 5 a letter from Robert Durst to Susan Berman was found and and given to the creator of the mini-series. The handwriting and missspelling of Beverly was identical. Now if I'm an investigator the first thing I would do is check out the prime suspect's handwriting since the only real evidence I have is a letter. My question to you guys is why in the world would they not do this in the first place? Is it because he's wealthy and the rich can get away with anything or were they simply just inept? Less than a week ago this guy was finally arrested in New Orleans for the murder of Susan Berman. If this guy never agreed to appear in the HBO series he may never have gotten caught. Hopefully he will be brought to justice. Finally. It's worth watching. I highly recommend it. The end of episode 6 is the highlight.
  18. This situation is a head scratcher. Why aren't the Dolphins trying to sign him long term? Why hasn't any other team approached him about a deal? Does everyone know Buffalo's offer will be too expensive to match? BTW. I don't mind the wait. I actually like it. Football news is hard to come by lately so at least I have this.
  19. The Niners defense wasn't in any way comparable to ours, because that helps. A lot of factors go in to points scored and yards gained. Defense and special teams both factor in.
  20. While the wait is agonizing, I believe the longer the wait the better for us. He hasn't signed with the Bills yet, but on the bright side he hasn't signed with Miami either.
  21. Can't say I agree. Teams will have to account for McCoy, Harvin and Sammy on every down. In Miami Clay was the number one or two option. He'll be a lot better with us.
  22. Clay is a much better fit in Roman's scheme than Chandler.
