  1. The Bills' FO have decided thay have seen enough to make a decision on the entire 52 man roster after only one pre-season game. Cuts will be announced tomorrow.
  2. True. But I'll give it a shot anyways. The D-Line looked good when Stroud was out there. Whitner, McGee and Crowell didn't even suit up.
  3. Jason Peters who? You're joking, right? Chambers is no Peters. They did okay in pass pro but thats about it. Where were the holes in the running game?
  4. The Good 1. James Hardy's TD was nothing less than impressive. 2. Youboty played well. He shouldn't be traded. 3. Stroud made a positive impact on his only series. 4. Langston held Taylor in check as a left tackle. 5. McKelvin is no doubt a great return man. 6. JP Losman played well. Some of you seem to think that JP's throw to Parrish was a badly thrown ball because it was short, but I believe Losman threw it like that on purpose. It was a very good pass. 7. Fine looks like he can be a good receiving TE. The Bad 1. No push in the running game from the offensive line. We need Peters back. BAD!!!! 2. Defensive line also got mauled all day long. 3. Kawika had a bad start as a Bill. 4. Play calling looked exactly like it did last year. We're obviously not a very talented offensive team. 5. Poz looks like he needs some more reps. He was out of position all day and took poor angles in pursuit of the RB's. The down right ugly 1. I fear that McCargo is a bust. He got dominated all day. What makes it worse is that he got taken to school by Washington's back-ups. 2. Spencer Johnson didn't look much better either. Same for Kyle. They got blown off the line of scrimmage. 3. Sloppy plays. Way too many penalties. 4. Why do the Bills always waste a time-out or two because the play clock is running down? 5. Fumbles lost. Both Wright and Omon coughed it up last night. Unexcusable. 6. Many missed tackles. If I were Coach Jauron I would definately run a tougher camp from here on out.
  5. I'm not too worried. The Bills are the only team in the AFC East that has a young up and coming QB getting substantial playing time and game experience. The Bills will dominate the east in the near future!
  6. That's too bad. I liked Bernie Mac. RIP, dude.
  7. I can barely contain myself. Too bad I work a double today. That's alright, I'll be able to watch the game at work. Tonight is the night we can finally see if this retooled Bills squad is as good as we think they can be. Let's hope we're right about them.
  8. I went to camp Saturday. Steve Johnson looked phenomenal. Every QB that threw to him, be it Edwards, Hamdan or Baker, all looked for Johnson. He caught a pass from every QB, I believe. The kid is a player. I thought the most telling thing about Johnson was when he didn't even make a catch. On a poorly throw ball, I forget by whom, during red zone drills, Steve Johnson made a great play on the ball by adjusting to the badly thrown pass and almost came down with a touchdown in the corner of the end zone. Trust me when I tell you it would have been one for the highlight reel. Let's hope the Bills' coaching staff plays him even if there aren't any injuries to the starting receivers. I fear that Coach Jauron doesn't have a very good eye for talent. Dick and company didn't even take a look at Jabari Greer or Fred Jackson until they had absolutely no choice last year and look how talented they turned out to be.
  9. Chris Brown reported that Ko Simpson will give it a go today and he did. That's good to hear. I have high expectations for #30 this year.
  10. Eugene Wilson is no longer with the Pats. He's with Tampa now.
  11. If you ask me, two TD's in one quarter make it even more impressive. I'm sure the Texans' coaches tried to give that CB some help after the DB got burned so badly the first time and Lee still smoked his ass the second time.
  12. You remember the deep pass he fought for in traffic against the Jets, right??
  13. Evans leads the league in TD's for 70 yards or more in the last few years with 5. Three other receivers have more than one. I don't think it's a problem for Evans to beat anyone "right off the Line". He's the best deep threat in the game.
  14. They can afford a 40% drop off from last year and still win 10 games. As far as their offensive line being exposed goes, I don't feel that way. The Giants had a superior pass rush last year. Maybe even one of the greatest of all-time. Not many teams will have their way with the Pats' O-line. They are getting old though. Especially on defense. I also agree that their secondary is questionable.
  15. Maybe I'm playing devil's advocate here but maybe some owners, who have paid hundreds of millions of dollars for their teams, are just bitter and have some animosity over RW's whining because none of them will ever see the kind of return on their investment that RW has enjoyed over the years. RW's initial investment was what? $50k?? RW should be happy with anything he gets. BTW. RW should sell the naming rights to the stadium.
  16. It's possible. Maybe TB did embrace BB's cheating ways. But and then again, the Pats didn't cheat last year and look at the monster numbers TB put up. In my mind, there's no questioning TB's greatness. Even though I truly and deeply despise the bastard. And if the Bills finally beat those SOB's I'll be running on the field with joy!!!
  17. Those that believe Brett's a bum obviously doesn't know anything about football. Some think that last year was an aberition for Favre. That he more likely will resemble the QB from the '05 & '06 seasons. I disagree. BF finally played well last year because his supporting cast was better than which he played the last two seasons prior. Grant, Jennings and Jones are three examples of guys that performed well last year that may have either been too young to be effective in earlier seasons or wasn't on the GB roster, such as Grant. That's why Favre had a great season. BF has kept himself in tip top shape and will definately be an immediate upgrade over TE. TE can afford to ride the pine anyways. He's only in his second year. He's not going any where. Besides, this is a win now league. With BF I believe that's exactly what the Bills will do.
  18. He makes some good points. He also forgot to mention that JP Losman would be great trade bait for Favre seeing that JP would be the only QB on Green Bays' roster that has actual NFL game experience.
  19. That's a very valid point. I believe TE will be a much better QB than JF. They do share a lot of similarites, though. TE and JF both have problems staying healthy, their arm strength is questionable, they're intelligent, they are quiet leaders and both have decent mobility.
