Now that I've had a chance to see the Bills play in the pre-season I'd have to say that the Bills are even harder now to gauge after having seen them play. Trent Edwards hasn't played in a live game since week two in the pre-season and I fear that he will be a little rusty. On the positive side, at least his performance in that game he did play in was phenomenal. I still have some questions about Trent that haven't been answered yet thus far in the off-season. Is his arm strength improved over last year? Is he ready to lead? Our offensive line is in a state of flux thanks to Jason Peters' nasty hold-out. I fear that Langston Walker will need help, especially against speed rushers, and that will hinder Lynch's ability to help on the offensive side of the ball instead of pass blocking. That in turn will have a negative impact on the whole offense. The defense is in much better shape than they were last year. Stroud, Mitchell and Pos will help stop the run and the pass defense looks like they are in good hands. Whitner looks like he's ready for the next level. My one concern is the pass rush. I haven't seen anything from our pass rushers this pre-season to believe they have the makings of a formidable pass rush. Will Lynch have room to run? Can Hardy make an impact? How rusty is Ko Simpson? Can Youboty play this well in the regular season? I have a ton of questions, but I will try to make a prediction anyways. Bills win this one. 6-4 Sun. 11/23 @ Kansas City Chiefs Bills win easy. Chiefs are one of the worst teams in the league. 7-4 Sun. 11/30 SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS Bills are in a zone. We win this one just barely. 8-4 Sun. 12/7 MIAMI DOLPHINS (Toronto) This one makes 4 wins in a row. 9-4 Sun. 12/14 @ New York Jets Bills lose this one. Thank You for unretiring, Favre. 9-5 Sun. 12/21 @ Denver Broncos Bills don't play well at Denver. 9-6 Sun. 12/28 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS Bills end their skid with a win against the Pats. NE will rest their guys for this one. 10-6 There you have it. Buffalo finish the season 10 & 6. I hope this record will be good enough to get us in the playoffs.

There's a TGIF's sports bar called "Front Row" located on International Drive. They have great food and tons of televisions. I always watch Bills games there when I'm in Orlando.

The Bills should get dirty. Go after Peters' signing bonus. Why not? Peters can sit for three years and he will still belong to the Bills for another three years. Take away all his money and see if he sits. The Bills have all the power in this situation. They are entitled to Jason's signing bonus. If Peters wants his dough, he can show up and then talk about a new deal. It's that simple.

Maybe now Peters will finally be given an extension so we can carry on with our march to the playoffs.

No trades allowed in your league on draft day?? That sux. I already made a couple of trades in my league. I drew the 9th spot in a 12 man league and managed to land another 1st round pick (8th overall) for my 2nd and 4th rounders. Then I traded my 3rd round pick for two 4th rounders (the 4th and 5th picks in the 4th rd). I'm thinking about taking Brees (QB's are worth a lot in my league) and Lynch with my first rounders and Thomas Jones or Willie Parker in the 4th along with the best available WR.

Who would like to have one of the best punt returners in the league??? Roscoe doesn't have any hands? You gotta be joking, right?

The Bills' FO have decided thay have seen enough to make a decision on the entire 52 man roster after only one pre-season game. Cuts will be announced tomorrow.

True. But I'll give it a shot anyways. The D-Line looked good when Stroud was out there. Whitner, McGee and Crowell didn't even suit up.

Jason Peters who? You're joking, right? Chambers is no Peters. They did okay in pass pro but thats about it. Where were the holes in the running game?

The Good 1. James Hardy's TD was nothing less than impressive. 2. Youboty played well. He shouldn't be traded. 3. Stroud made a positive impact on his only series. 4. Langston held Taylor in check as a left tackle. 5. McKelvin is no doubt a great return man. 6. JP Losman played well. Some of you seem to think that JP's throw to Parrish was a badly thrown ball because it was short, but I believe Losman threw it like that on purpose. It was a very good pass. 7. Fine looks like he can be a good receiving TE. The Bad 1. No push in the running game from the offensive line. We need Peters back. BAD!!!! 2. Defensive line also got mauled all day long. 3. Kawika had a bad start as a Bill. 4. Play calling looked exactly like it did last year. We're obviously not a very talented offensive team. 5. Poz looks like he needs some more reps. He was out of position all day and took poor angles in pursuit of the RB's. The down right ugly 1. I fear that McCargo is a bust. He got dominated all day. What makes it worse is that he got taken to school by Washington's back-ups. 2. Spencer Johnson didn't look much better either. Same for Kyle. They got blown off the line of scrimmage. 3. Sloppy plays. Way too many penalties. 4. Why do the Bills always waste a time-out or two because the play clock is running down? 5. Fumbles lost. Both Wright and Omon coughed it up last night. Unexcusable. 6. Many missed tackles. If I were Coach Jauron I would definately run a tougher camp from here on out.

I'm not too worried. The Bills are the only team in the AFC East that has a young up and coming QB getting substantial playing time and game experience. The Bills will dominate the east in the near future!

That's too bad. I liked Bernie Mac. RIP, dude.

I can barely contain myself. Too bad I work a double today. That's alright, I'll be able to watch the game at work. Tonight is the night we can finally see if this retooled Bills squad is as good as we think they can be. Let's hope we're right about them.

I went to camp Saturday. Steve Johnson looked phenomenal. Every QB that threw to him, be it Edwards, Hamdan or Baker, all looked for Johnson. He caught a pass from every QB, I believe. The kid is a player. I thought the most telling thing about Johnson was when he didn't even make a catch. On a poorly throw ball, I forget by whom, during red zone drills, Steve Johnson made a great play on the ball by adjusting to the badly thrown pass and almost came down with a touchdown in the corner of the end zone. Trust me when I tell you it would have been one for the highlight reel. Let's hope the Bills' coaching staff plays him even if there aren't any injuries to the starting receivers. I fear that Coach Jauron doesn't have a very good eye for talent. Dick and company didn't even take a look at Jabari Greer or Fred Jackson until they had absolutely no choice last year and look how talented they turned out to be.

Chris Brown reported that Ko Simpson will give it a go today and he did. That's good to hear. I have high expectations for #30 this year.

Eugene Wilson is no longer with the Pats. He's with Tampa now.

If you ask me, two TD's in one quarter make it even more impressive. I'm sure the Texans' coaches tried to give that CB some help after the DB got burned so badly the first time and Lee still smoked his ass the second time.

Evans leads the league in TD's for 70 yards or more in the last few years with 5. Three other receivers have more than one. I don't think it's a problem for Evans to beat anyone "right off the Line". He's the best deep threat in the game.
