  1. Justin Smiley's signing with the stinkin' fish was reported immediately after midnight last year.
  2. Dude, I hope your just kidding! Free agency starts at midnight, eastern time. (Just in case you weren't kidding).
  3. Too early for me. I started watching the Bills in '88. Yeah, I know, I was a bandwagon fan. Who can blame me? Up until then I was purely a hockey fan. And I was only 14 years old. Watching sports wasn't very important to me back then. Now playing sports, that's a different story.
  4. I wouldn't mind Nate Washington. I think the Bills will sign G Mike Goff, Chargers. http://www.chargers.com/team/roster/mike-goff.htm
  5. Mike Goff G, Chargers. I believe the Bills will sign this guy on the cheap. He's 32 years old but hasn't missed a start in years. Buddy Nix knows him well and the guy can play. The Bills will draft someone this year to eventually take over for him. The only question is, can he play LG? http://www.chargers.com/team/roster/mike-goff.htm
  6. For me it's pretty easy to wait for the start of free agency and then the draft. It's waiting for the season to start after the draft that kills me.
  7. I gotta be up at 6am, but that won't stop a real Bills fan! Here's a quick prediction. Haynesworth will sign with someone tonight. Jason Brown will not. JB looks like the type that will try to get the very best deal he can and will travel quite a bit before he signs. Only 30 minutes to go!!!!
  8. Nice avatar!! I know Jaime Nails personally. He lives in Miami. If you thought he was big when he was playing you should see him now. That guy makes his own shade! We talk football all the time. He says he enjoyed the football atmosphere in Buffalo more than Miami, but he likes the weather in Miami better (obviously). He still keeps in touch with Robert Hicks, Jerry O and Big Rube. He laughed his ass off when I told him Ruben Brown is one of my favorite offensive lineman in Bills history even if he was good for one false start penalty a game!
  9. Depends. What's the criteria? One start? Two starts? Full season starter? Fill in? Or is it which QB just plain and simply sucked the most? As far as I can go back, I would have to say JP is the worst extended starter. Hobert was the worst fill-in. Alex Van Pelt was the worst short term starter.
  10. B.Harami98 in da house!!!!! Can't wait. Hope the Billzzzzz prove me wrong and sign a marque free agent when the clock strikes midnight!!!! Let's go Buffalo!!!!
  11. We did leave about $20 million in cap space last year, didn't we?
  12. Dude, this isn't a popularity contest. I don't say things on this board just to be liked. I can care less what you think about me. The fact of the matter is, the product on the field does all the talking for me. It's been 9 years since our last playoff appearance and what 13 or 14 years since our last playoff win? Everything is great. I don't know what I'm talking about. What was I thinking? [HEAVY SARCASM] What I said was not meant to be miserable. I never said the Bills won't replace DD with a high priced free agent. If they spend $8 million a year on a new guard, that will make about $15 million in cap space devoted to the guard position that DD vacated. Only $8 million of that will be actual dollars spent. That also pushes us closer to the minimum amount needed to reach the CBA criteria. True or false?
  13. I posted this in another thread, but I'll repeat it again. The release of DD is quite simple. The Bills have to spend a certain amount of money against the cap in order to get their share in the CBA. Dead money counts as money spent, even though RW won't really be spending a single penny on DD's contract this season. The cap hit should be about 4 or 5 million dollars. That's 4 or $5 million less that RW will have to actually spend. More cuts will come.

  15. DD never did anything memorable on the field, good or bad. He was serviceable. Nothing more. Definitely not worth the dough.
  16. I've been saying this for quite some time now. JG must have something over ownership that he still gets to keep his job. The "Guy" is lousy.
  17. What? You mean old like 9 years no playoffs old? Because our FO makes all the right moves and I'm just being an A-Hole?
  18. That's good. I had no idea he was an Exclusive rights FA. Thanks.
