  1. I too, have high hopes for Byrd, but let's get real for one second. He wasn't a safety in college, he's small for a safety listed at a very generous 5'10" and he's slow.
  2. That's right, dude. Tell him!! Some people hear what they want to hear around here. Everything else is like Charlie Brown's telephone conversations. Wa wa wa...
  3. You make some good points, but it's not the rotoworld report that made me wish we took Brown. I liked Brown a lot before the draft and I also respect Carolina's judgment in personnel. They gave up next year's first for him. Hell, I wish the Bills would've made that deal. To take this topic even further, deep down inside I wish the Bills would go back to the 3-4 defense. Brown and Maybin would probably make great OLB's in that scheme.
  4. Thanks, but I already replied. Try reading the posts first before you make a smart a%$, back-hand comment. Safety wasn't a huge priority for the Bills, IMO, compared to pass rush.
  5. If you think Scott is a midget, wait until you see Byrd. He's probably the shortest safety in the NFL. To make matters worse, he has never even played safety. One thing for sure though, he is a ball hawk. I hope that translates to the safety position in the NFL.
  6. I was being serious. The pass rush is a serious problem for the Bills. Schobel is aging and coming off of an injury plagued season and Kelsay can't get to the QB to save his life. Brown combined with Maybin would've given us twice the chance at addressing our pass rush issues. BTW. I like Scott at SS and Whitner at FS. If one of those guys go down, we still have Ko Simpson as a back up. Florence might be a good safety as well. We're very deep at CB.
  7. Byrd over Brown? Idiots!
  8. Low ratings in Madden never stopped me from kickin' but with the Bills!
  9. Better than "Old School"!
  10. Check out this video posted on youtube by Ohio State fans. Pretty funny song.
  11. If only it was Levi Jones.
  12. Thanks. No harm. I can take criticism when done correctly, but I do attack back pretty hard when insulted. Many of us here can follow your lead and be a little bit more level-headed, myself included.
  13. Yeah, it is pretty rare for someone to defend me on this board. I've always respected you Dean. You point out flaws in peoples' posts the right way and don't resort to insults or over the top comments like, "this is the most idiotic thread ever". Thanks for pointing out my error. I'll be sure to be on point next time.
  14. And you responded, so what does that make you? Hangartner is a good center. The Panthers' running game was phenomenal last year and Hangartner played a part in that. Josh Reed is mediocre. He will never make a Pro Bowl. McKelvin is very talented and so is Lynch.
  15. That was posted on May 5th.
  16. Well than that just proves how friggin retarded you are. There has been a lot worse. Moron. BTW. 300 sucked and so does your handle. Your avatar is gay. You like sweaty ball sacks. You have no life. You're a loser. Have a nice day
  17. Ha ha ha!!! Try Big Ben, Harrison and Polamalu. That's three more than we have.
  18. Number 58 appears to be official. They are selling Maybin #58 jerseys on buffalobills.com. It looks like Thomas wont budge on #59. Scroll to the bottom. http://www.buffalobills.com/
  19. Elite, Great, Good, Average, Mediocre, and Garbage are the options, in that order, from good to bad. OFFENSE QB.Edwards=Average. Can't really grade rookies. Out of 26 positions, we only have 1 great player and the rest are either good or worse than good. This team needs to have more elite players if they are gonna contend for the playoffs, let alone a Super Bowl. The younger guys, such as Edwards, Lynch, Evans, McKelvin and even Whitner, can still become great or elite players depending upon coaching, and surrounding talent, because they have the athletic skill set and/or smarts to up their game. I don't put Poz in that group because he just lacks the physical talent, IMO, to become great. What do you think?
  20. Damn it! I really thought he'd be a Bill. Oh well, more Ellison.
  21. That is exactly what I like to hear from Roscoe.
  22. What a bunch of bull. No one's hitting or even wearing pads. It's all meaningless crap at this point.
  23. Don't you mean right tackle?
