If true, that sucks, but it's no major loss. We've got great depth at WR as long as Evans and Owens stay healthy. Wouldn't it be great if Hardy becomes a force, though.

I read the injury report on BB.com and it made no mention of James Hardy. He must be practicing, anybody know how he's doing?

Bills' home opener and Leftwich's delivery takes so long to get the ball out in time that Kelsay will be able to make his large loop move and still be able to get to the quarterback. 09/27/2009 vs New Orleans 1-2. N.O. has way too much fire power for our team to contend with, offensively and defensively. This will be a blow-out. 10/04/2009 at Miami 1-3. I doubt it...BB is probably doing what he's always done, which is use any any excuse at all to put Tom Brady on the injury report. Remember, TB was listed on the injury report for just about the entire 2007-08 season and we all know how Brady played that year... But that would be awesome if Brady was ruled out for week 1!

Let me know how you feel when there are no running lanes and pass protection and our running backs and quarterbacks get killed this year, because Brad Butler is no right tackle. Hell, LW is no LT for that matter. BTW. What's to say that Brown isn't the next great pass rusher as well?

You're all over the place with this post. I don't even know where to begin, but I'll try anyways. Oher and Brown have the same chance as anyone else in the draft to become boom or bust and yet you say we drafted 2 of the highest rated guys at their positions and I should give them time to gel and at the same time you say my guys haven't done squat yet. i don't get your logic there. A ball hawking SAFETY, you say? Let me know when we draft one. Byrd was a ball hawking CB in college. The fact is, games are won and lost in the trenches and DE and O-Tackle were definitely our biggest needs.

Dude, you and I both know these guys are all idiots. Playing ten yards off the line of scrimmage in a cover 2????? What the hell is that? The cover two is designed to prevent the deep ball with safety help, why in the world would you need to play ten yards off the LOS in that scheme as well? And btw, isn't our bad weather all the deep pass protection we need in Buffalo with the winds gusting and what not? Why run that scheme in Buffalo in the first place?

The schemes dictate how you draft. I do however, blame the front office for this as well. After the melt down we went through last year, DJ should have been fired by the FO. As far as holding out hope, "on principle only", as you put it, I feel you. I know where you're coming from and I respect it. Keep hope alive!

I don't have to see a regular season game to know that our O-line is the worst in football. Maybe you do, but I don't. We haven't even scored a TD with our first team offense yet and I blame the O-line for that. Oher and Brown would've helped our team tremendously. Much more than Maybin+Byrd, because everyone knows that it all starts on the lines, both offensive and defensive. A safety was a luxury pick for us that we couldn't afford, IMO.
