That could work!
-
You may be right about Merriman at OLB in a 43. I didn't give that much thought, I guess.
-
Move to a 43, trade a 4th for Haynesworth and draft Bowers. Low risk/high reward, IMO. Haynesworth already received the bulk of his money up front and will come cheap. Bowers will be the perfect DE next to AH, KW and Dwan Edwards. Draft a LBer in the second and re-sign Poz. Our front seven should be pretty stout if we get lucky with a healthy Merriman and a motivated Haynesworth. Here's what our front seven will look like: Bowers, Williams, Haynesworth, and Edwards Poz, Moats, and Merriman I like it!
-
Okay...Now I'm really confused!
-
Or do we pick 4th?
-
Are you saying that isn't happening already? RB's and TE's have been killing us all season with Whitner and Poz.

POSITIVES OFFENSE 1. Stevie Johnson, David Nelson and Donald Jones look very promising at the WR position. This unit can be a strength going into the future! 2. Fitzpatrick looks like he can be a good QB. I'm looking forward to RF having a full off-season as the man. 3. Demetrius Bell was serviceable at LT, this year. I hope he can take that next step. He could be a good one. 4. Levitre and Wood are okay. I'd like to see them bulk up and gain some strength, next year. DEFENSE 1.The youngsters Moats, Troup, and Carrington have potential. I liked what I saw out of these guys. 2. Kyle Williams is a beast! Put someone next to him that can free up #95 and he can be a real force! 3. Our secondary will be scary good with a better pass rush. Re-sign Wilson, Florence and Youboty. Let Whitner test the open market and then offer him no more than $5 mil a season. If he leaves, so be it, he's no real loss. NEGATIVES 1. Spiller let me down, this season, we need to see more in 2011. 2. Our run defense was horrible all year long. 3. We need to get more production out of our TE position. 4. Our pass rush is weak, as well. IDEAS FOR THE FUTURE 1. Poz, Stroud, Kelsay, Adoyele, Davis, McCargo, and Maybin are all horrible and need to be let go. Use this freed up money on defensive free agents and draft heavy on the defensive side of the ball. 2. Bring in a new defensive coordinator. Someone with some experience. 3. Draft a QB, preferably Mallett, (Luck won't be there when we pick), with our first round pick and let Fitzy start the next year or two while we groom our QB of the future. We have some young stars in the making on offense and we can afford to wait a couple of years for our new QB to be ready. 4. Sign Owen Daniels to man the TE position. He will finally be healthy next year and can be a great help on offense and we won't have to break the bank to sign him. 5. Extend Stevie Johnson, NOW! He's only going to get better!

Roosevelt, Hubbard, Johnson, and Spiller will be lined up at WR. That's my guess.

I DVR'd "The League", last night, so I can watch it later on. It was pretty late when I got around to finally watching it and I had to see that show with the volume on low and the subtitles on. The funny thing is, Lee Evans and Bernard Berrian were the players mentioned on the subtitle, instead of Johnson and Harvin. I guess they change the lines later on to be more accurate with the current goings on in the NFL.

Really??? Really??? And I guess all that kool aid drinking talk is for the sane then? Please..

Let's face it. It's another blown opportunity for the idiots that run the Bills. This team has proved it's dedicated to last place and they're very good at that!
-
The Eagles will not let him go. It's a marriage made in heaven. Kolb will be available.
-
I'd love to see our Bills go after Mike Mayock as GM. We need a young guy that knows his stuff to turn this mess around. IMO, he's the best in the biz at what he does and I think he has enough knowledge to put together a great team. Sure, he's wrong sometimes, but who isn't? Even the great ones like Polian make bad decisions from time to time.
-
I was in favor of going after Michael Vick, as well. Some of the brain dead folk around here didn't like the idea. How do you feel about that now? As far as the dog killing thing goes, I could care less. What, wife beaters, drug users, and DUI drivers are okay, but dog fighters aren't? Come on, man, this is football!!! We ain't here to win no popularity contests!!!!

Merriman is coming to Buffalo!!!! Yes!!!
-
That's good news. Nice find!!!
-
I believe they go by last years' record as opposed to this year when deciding whom gets whom on the waiver wire. If that's the case, we'll have about 8 teams in front of us for Thadeus' services. Not a lock, at all.
-
Fitzy, himself, has said he can chuck the ball down field 70 yards. I believe it, he does have a strong arm. I think the most amazing thing about Fitzy is that he has never had the benefit of a full training camp as a starter. He has the smarts, arm and athletic ability to be a very good QB in the NFL. The only thing that worries me about him is his accuracy. He is inconsistent in that department, but he can get better at it. I'm all for giving him a chance at starter for next year and grabbing a DL or OL in the draft in the first round, instead of a QB. Our defense needs the most help. We are lacking a game changer on that side of the ball.
-
...HOWEVER...!!!!! I loved it!!!!!
-
I'd say no to that. Buffalo's offense has turned around since Trent's departure and all the credit for that goes to Chan. Fitz deserves some of that credit, as well. Now, George Edwards? He's a different story. Our defense is the worst Bills' defense probably in the history of the Bills. He's as good as gone! All's I can say is, bring on Wade Phillips as DC. I realize the odds of that are extremely low, but I'd like to see that none the less.

What NFL rules would you change?
Justice replied to BuffaloinLA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Illegal man down field. I freakin' hate that call with a passion. There's already a rule in place that prohibits an offensive lineman from receiving the ball, so why in the world do we need this call? Besides, refs don't always call that penalty, unless you're the Bills then they'll call it every time. -
Pick a song that fits the life of Bills fan
Justice replied to Another Point of View's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking of another Phil Collins tune. Listen to the lyrics on this one, it suits the Bills perfectly, especially our drafts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yr-SNCtoyPk&ob=av2e "Back to Life"by Soul 2 Soul, fits the Bill as well. Seeing that we only had one stretch of good play since we existed. -
My Sad Realization that is the Bills
Justice replied to Billshank Redemption's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How long before there's a Daniel Snyder reference? BTW, I agree with you. -
Isn't funny how fired guys around the league get promotions with the Bills? Gailey-Fired as OC only to be made a head coach. Edwards-Fired as a Linebacker's Coach, only to be made a DC.. Where is the f'in logic in that???
