  1. I have stated numerous times previously on the board whom I would love to see our Bills select with the number 3 overall pick in this upcoming draft. Quinn, Bowers, Fairley, Dareus and AJ Green are my top five, in order. Which leads me to my best of the rest list. These are the guys that have been speculated to go in the top five of the draft that have also been rumored to go to Buffalo. The first guy on the list is my favorite of the rest and number 5 is the least I'd like to see. Here they are: 1. Newton 2. Peterson 3. Jordan 4. Watt 5. Gabbert Have at it.
  2. The Living Years by Mike and the Mechanics Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton
  3. Spiller can still be the threat everyone envisioned that he might be. The book isn't closed on that one, just yet. AJ Green is a great player and you can't have too many of those. He's my fifth choice because WR isn't a major need. If it were, I'd have him much higher.
  4. I respect Mike Mayock's knowledge of college prospects, immensely, he now has Quinn as a possible 1st overall pick and after doing some research on the guy I can't say I disagree. So here is my new top 5 wish list for the 3rd overall pick: 1. Quinn 2. Bowers 3. Fairley 4. Dareus 5. AJ Green Obviously 3 out of the 5 players listed here will be available to the Bills and I would not be disappointed if we chose any one of these guys, especially my top 3. 1. If the Bills were to land Quinn, we can still run a hybrid 34 or 43 defense, with Quinn lining up at OLB in the 34 or DE in the 43. I would love to see this happen especially if we draft a Taylor or Austin in the 2nd round. Our defense would be sick. 2. If we draft Bowers, we will have to commit to the 34. In this scenario, I'd like to see the Bills sign Rogers to man the nose tackle position. Bowers, Rogers and Williams at DE would make a pretty good line. If this were to happen I'd like to see the Bills draft a linebacker with our second rounder, such as Martez Wilson. 3. Fairley. I believe Fairley can be a DE in the 34 and a DT in the 43. WE can still be a hybrid defense. If this were to happen, I'd love to see the Bills draft Allen Bailey, DE, out of Miami, in the second. 4. Dareus. See Fairley #3. 5. AJ Green. Not a huge need, here, but I believe AJ is probably the best, most sure fire prospect in the entire 2011 draft. If we were to draft Green in the first, the Bills can then go for the BPA on defense in the second round. Have at it!
  5. We would be LUCKY to have Bowers! He is a beast!
  6. Here's a warning to all current Buffalo Bills. Don't do a segment on buffalobills.com!
  7. Bringing the red end zone red back? I hope so, we haven't been able to find it since we switched over to green!
  8. Here's my top five wish list for possible #3 picks that I would like to see the Bills draft, in order: 1. Bowers 2. Fairley 3. Quinn 4. Dareus 5. Green I'd like to see the Bills draft Cam Newton if they pass up on everyone in my top five, instead of one of those CB's.
  9. I sure hope we go with the old school 90's look! This is the best news I've heard regarding the Bills in quite some time! Sad, but true!
  10. I'm pulling for the Pack, but I think the Steelers are going to win.
  11. We have a winner! This is the point I was trying to make, WSS just worded it better than I did!
  12. 127 is way better than Sanctum. WAAAAAAYYYYY BETTER!!!!
  13. It's garbage. I just got back from seeing that lousy piece of trash. Save your time and money and don't go see it.
  14. I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't steal any content from anyone. That wasn't my point. We drafted Maybin and he was undersized. With our first round picks we should draft players that have the ideal size, already. We can use later round picks for project players. Besides, a little more size couldn't hurt Aaron's chances of being a better player, could it? James Hardy was 6'5" 220lbs and ran the forty in about 4.4 seconds. Yeah, I'd call him a physical freak,.
  15. An argument can be made in each direction of this debate of physical freak vs high motor guy/intelligent athletes. Both of these types of athletes had their fair share of busts, but I'd take the physical freak any day of the week over the high motor/intelligent types. When I look at our defense as a whole, I don't really see anyone that looks like a beast. Poz is pretty big, but he isn't a physical specimen. The guy is very stiff and lacks speed. I hope the Bills go after someone that looks and plays the part. You can teach a guy how to play football, but you can never take a guy that lacks physical tools and give him that. Let's take a look at the our recent draft history of first and second rounders and see if any of these guys fit the mold of a "Goliath". 2010 Spiller: Nope. Small guy that plays small. Troup: average size DT. Nothing special about his size/speed. 2009 Maybin: Does the stick man ring a bell? Wood: See Troup Byrd: Small, not fast at all. Levitre: Moved from his college position to guard because he lacked the ideal size. 2008 McKelvin: Ideal size and speed. I still have hope for Leodis. Hardy: Physical freak with good speed. How much did his injuries affect him? 2007 Lynch: Nothing special Poz: same as Lynch. Too slow, as well. 2006 Whitner: Small McCargo: See Troup. 2005 Parrish: Smurf comes to mind. As you can see, the Bills have focused on smaller players in the draft, as of late, and it has cost us dearly. Hopefully, the Bills won't make these same types of mistakes in the upcoming draft and use our premium picks on intimidating, mean-looking sons of b*^$%^s, instaed of the smurfs we've been getting.
  16. I realize you're just trying to be funny, but the violence you see in a football game isn't the same as the violence we see in movies or television. Ha ha, very funny! I may be overly protective of my little girls, but at the age of 10 and 11, I have to be. Call me old fashioned, but I long for the days when they wouldn't even show Elvis dancing below the waist on television.
  17. This post by the OPer should be up for worst post of the year, even though it's still very early in the year. I just can't see Maybin making any kind of positive impact on defense this year or any other year. He hasn't even given us anything at all to be optimistic about. I hated the pick when we made it and I hate it even more, now.
  18. Despicable. How these guys are put in any kind of position of power is beyond me.
  19. Just playing devil's advocate here, but the reason why this is a homeland security issue is because of the tax dollars lost from those that would normally purchase the right to view these various events legally, and as we all know, our military is funded from our tax money. At the same time, this attempt will prove to be futile, because it's just way too easy for these websites to move to a new domain.
  20. Violence isn't any better than graphic sexual behavior, but when I sit with my family to watch a football game I don't expect to see women performing fellacio on a vegetable or see a thousand people get blown up.
  21. I don't allow my girls to watch MTV or any other cable network television.
  22. I didn't think you did. What I meant was just because some kids are already doing it that doesn't mean everyone else's kids should be exposed to that kind of graphic material.
