  1. Trust me, guys, I do not want to see Blaine Gabbert get picked by the Bills, but we are already heavily invested in Carrington, Edwards, Merriman, Troup, and Williams. I just don't see us taking a defensive player at 3 unless Dareus is still there.

  3. For real! Draft all defense this year and tank the season in the worst way to ensure the #1 pick next year! I'm all for that!
  4. I'm pretty sure this response is retaliation for the shot I took at you in the "trade our first for Green Bay's next two entire drafts" post, but surely you didn't miss the part in bold writing above, did you? If so, lesson learned. Next time I'll continue reading on even when I think a post is absurd, before I reply.
  5. NFL Network is where it's at. Charles Davis, Mike Mayock and Charles Casselry are all great in terms of spotting talent and conveying their thoughts in a clear and precise way. BTW, I'll be in regular season mode and wheel out my 2nd television so that I can watch both at the same time. You never know when one station cuts to commercial during the Bills' pick, like they usually do. Believe it or not, but both Kiper and McShay have the same exact top 5 in their mock drafts, this year.
  6. I'm not buying Miller's 250lbs weigh in. He gained weight right before the combine, just like Maybin did, and we know how that ended up. I look at the weight the athlete played under at the college level as a better indicator to what they might weigh in the pros. After training camp and in-season workouts a player can drop ten to twenty pounds easily. While it is possible for a particular player to gain weight and keep it on, I'm just not willing to risk that on a third overall pick. The third overall pick should be physically matured already and not be asked to do anything different at the NFL level, IMO, such as be asked to play a new position. You can do that to players selected later in the draft, but not in the lower first round.
  7. I realize that sports no longer allow the city to own a team, ie the Packers, but if it were up to me, ALL teams should be owned by the city they play in. Furthermore, teams shouldn't even have the right to use a city's name unless they are owned by the people. Such a sad day in sports.
  8. Sorry, dude, but you're insane to even suggest such a thing can happen.
  9. Either way, I don't really want to see the Bills select a QB with our first rounder. I'm not 100% sold on any of the so called top choices. We need to fix the run D in the worst way. If I had a gun to my head and had to take a QB third overall, I prefer Newton over Gabbert. JMO.
  10. Well, he did have a 65% completion percentage this year. That's pretty accurate. Check my draft wants history, fella, and get back to me later.
  11. I love these types of responses. The fact of the matter is he can be had for much cheaper than the third overall pick. We can always trade our pick and get him later in the first. Of course I can always be wrong about the guy, but what is there not to like about the kid. He's fast, strong armed, smart and has no personality faults that we know about. I believe he's the perfect fit for what Chan likes in his offenses. JMO.
  12. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/04/09/afc-south-hones-in-on-potential-first-rounder-kaepernick/ If Colin Kaepernick is available to us in the second round I would be jumping for joy if the Bills grab him. As I've stated all along, CK is going to be the best QB in this year's draft and we would be lucky to have him. Furthermore, I believe CK will not even make it to us in the second round. Hopefully we can make a trade with the Patriots* for both of their first rounders for our first so we can possibly fill two needs with our first rounder, such as a JJ Watt or Cam Jordan and a Colin Kaepernick.
  13. I realize that. That's not what I meant. Tcali said if Pegula bought the Bills he would be left with $3 billion, after the purchase. I just pointed out that his net worth would still be the same, assuming the Bills are bought for $1 billion and they retain their value.
  14. I can give the guy a job if he needs one! All kidding aside, he'd still be worth over $4 billion if he bought the Bills. Just won't all be liquid. The money he spends buying the Bills is like money in the bank. He can always cash out later.
  15. ...national origin is, if you don't mind. Just curious. Thanks.

  16. Dexter, I am a Palestinian/American and have been reading some of your posts in the PPP Forum. I have to say I'm impressed with your knowledge of the situation in the middle east and that you're not like most that are easily brainwashed by the media. If you don't mind my asking, where did you get your information from? Obviously not CNN. Also, I'd like to know what your nat'...

  17. As I've stated in another thread, I sure hope the Bills' new jerseys aren't red. Royal blue looks like it's back in some way, as well.
  18. I wont be very happy if the Bills' new jerseys are red. It looks like the royal blue is back as well, confirming what many of us expected.
  19. Count me in on CK. He's the best QB in this draft. Mallet is second best. I'd take CK in the 2nd and wouldn't think twice about it. My gut tells me he won't even make it there, though.
  20. "I'll take poor TD to interception ratio, for $500, Alex".
  21. I would love to see our Bills draft Mallett in the second, but no way he lasts until then. No doubt he's a first rounder and will be the best QB in this draft. His 40 time is irrelevant.
  22. While I agree that Cam won't make it to the second round, this is a hypothetical question and my answer to that is a resounding YES! I hate Cam in the first, but love him in the second. No doubt. He then becomes a low risk-high reward player.
  23. I would be VERY, VERY happy with those jerseys!
  24. Neil Patrick Harris' character on a TV show. He looks nothing like him, of course, but they are both extremely cocky and arrogant. He's like a Barney mixed with NPH's character from Harold and Kumar!
  25. Is it just me or does Charlie Sheen remind you of a cracked-out Barney from, "How I met your Mother"?
