  1. I went to sleep really late last night and woke up extremely early, because of the draft. This happen to anyone else? My fear, today, is Andy Dalton to the Bills with our second rounder. I wouldn't be overly pissed at the pick, I just feel like there are others available that can help us a lot more. Such as: 1. Brooks Reed. Pats will probably snatch this guy at #33, but if they don't I would love to have him. 2. Da'Quan Bowers. The risk is worth the reward, IMO. The only reason I have Brooks Reed listed ahead of Bowers is because of the injury. 3. Kyle Rudolph. We haven't had a good tight end since Jay Reimersma, draft this guy and plug him into the starting line-up, ASAP. 4. Justin Houston. He played standing up last year and proved he can do it well. The guy is a physical freak, who will benefit from playing with K. Williams, Dareus and Merriman. 5. Akeem Ayers. Not gifted speed wise, but he is a play-maker, none the less. Honorable Mention 1. Ryan Mallett. The best QB in this years' draft, IMO. 3 issues here with Mallett or he would've been my number one choice. 1. Not mobile 2. Drug issues 3. Not great when pressured. 2. Colin Kaepernick. A talented young man with all the tools to succeed at the next level. Maybe a two year project.
  2. A little over 20 years ago the Buffalo Bills took a chance on an injured running back in the second round of the draft that many considered an elite talent with health concerns. What's the man's name, you ask? Thurman Thomas! Take a chance Buffalo, we've squandered second round picks on guys with much less talent.
  3. Is it just me or am I the only one that is smitten over NGU's "inside information"? I mean, the guy gave us four names and we picked in the 3rd slot!
  4. It's looking more and more likely that the Bills will end up with either Gabbert/Miller or Dareus.
  5. Going by what I saw, I would say the Bills like Miller and Kaepernick in the second. If you checked out the video of CK,one of our scouts (I don't know his name), was gushing all over CK. Check it out. http://www.buffalobills.com/media-center/videos/Chan-Gailey-on-the-draft/3146831f-a0a4-4a0c-9950-c3ab960e1936#?id=ac899b7c-ce4d-49bb-9206-8d7018a57f70
  6. Not my first choice, but I wouldn't mind the pick as long as we draft a big nasty in the second round. now if we draft Peterson and then follow that with a Ponder, then I'll be fuming.
  7. I believe our opponent was the Broncos and it must have been 1994. Not sure, though.
  8. Where they went in the draft has no bearing on their true value. If you can do those drafts all over again do you think those guys will last that long? To take it even further, Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round, do you suggest we should never draft a QB until the 6th round because of that?
  9. The lowest risk player in the entire draft is Dareus, IMO. Miller hasn't proven he can keep his playing weight at 250lbs, Newton has many red flags, Patrick Peterson might have to be moved to safety, and Gabbert is nothing more than a Trent Edwards.
  10. The best case scenario for the Bills tomorrow will be if both Gabbert and Newton are gone by the time we get our turn on the clock, so that we wont be tempted to go in that direction.
  11. You got that right, Marcell's stats wont be dazzling, but he will have a huge impact on the overall play of the defense.
  12. McCoy isn't the same type of player Dareus is. Two totally different types of players. Dareus plays real low whereas McCoy plays more upright. Dareus is 6'3" and weighs 319, McCoy is 6'4" and weighs only 295. Dareus will be a better player than McCoy, IMO. He will be better against the run because he is heavier and shorter than McCoy, plus he has that lightning quick take-off at the snap, ala Kyle Williams, that will give O-lineman fits. I can only imagine what it would be like to see Kyle lined-up next to Marcell. Our LBers will be free to roam, as well, as a result of the play of those two up-front.
  13. As did I. He was a throwback kind of guy. "Drivin' around with my windows down" and "whatch'ya got son?" were my favorite Mandich catch phrases.
  14. Congrats, ajzepp. Good luck going forward. I wouldn't mind seeing Briere hoist that cup.

  16. I was hoping for these jerseys! Nice!
  17. I'd love to have Mallett and would run to the podium if he was still there for us in the second round, but I don't believe that will be the case. Even if Mallett was available, I don't think he fits a Chan Gailey offense and will not be our pick.
  18. The mocorana? I don't know if that's good or bad!
  19. Well then Miller must be retarded, too, because he even said that he can play in any scheme. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/669588-2011-nfl-draft-is-von-miller-truly-a-cant-miss-draft-prospect
  20. Miller most definitely fits in a 43. More so than the 34, IMO.
  21. Can you imagine this guy lined up next to Kyle? O-lines will have their hands full!
  22. I hope that's true. Then we really have to spend some loot!
  23. The Bengals also have a need a wideout. AJ Green and whomever they select with their second rounder would probably be better for them than just that one pick.
  24. Chase Daniel put up huge numbers and they're from the same school.
