  1. Thanks Lv-Bills! I just called, the first customer service person you talk to states that there's nothing you can do, this is already the lowest price, etc. When I asked to cancel the Sunday Ticket, she said that it can't be canceled, but she transferred me to the retention dept. Once there, the rep quickly offered $20 a month off of Sunday Ticket. When I balked about the price of Superfan, and how I'm essentially paying a second time to get HD channels, she gave me Superfan for free. Total cost for the season for Sunday Ticket and Superfan was $370, now $150.
  2. I've got to figure that the FO must be pretty high on the potential of Alvin Bowen. I liked this pick last year, and look forward to seeing him get back on the field.
  3. I'm also in San Diego. Born and raised in CA, and I've been a Bills fan for almost 20 years.
  4. The only thing that scares me about Lynch is his longevity. That kid runs with so much desire, and works so hard for every yard he gets, that I worry about his body holding up. I think Lynch is unquestionably a first round talent. It would be nice to see him hit the line of scrimmage and have any kind of a hole to run through. Here's to hoping that Sean Kugler's statements about improved focus on run-blocking during the bye week manifest themselves in the weeks to come!
  5. Tomcat secretly is Chris Brown.
  6. So then if I don't like what someone else is saying, I should put my tail between my legs and keep my mouth shut about it? The administrator of that website has as much of a right to shut that website down, as the a-holes posting on it have to voice their opinion. I've got every right to voice my opinion, without moving to Cuba, about what I think of their jokes. Nobody's talking about the government stepping in and censoring anybody. If the Seahawks fans who want to joke about Kevin Everett and 9/11 don't like the fact that the website they were using was shut down, they can start their own.
  7. Agreed. And while the tragedy that befell Kevin Everett does not equate in overall scope to the tragedy of 9/11, both clearly fall into a category that should forever be immune from jest.
  8. I thought it was great to see the "creep" defense from last year come out a few times, when all the d-lineman were standing up. It seemed to confuse the hell out of the Seahawks.
  9. I'm actually a little worried about the improved Jets O-line this year. Nick Mangold has been great so far, D'Brick is solid, and they brought in Faneca. I think that line is good enough to consider taking Thomas Jones as a second RB option in my fantasy league.
  10. Ryan Leaf is probably too busy with his lucrative college coaching job to pull himself away for the Dolphins. In all seriousness though, if you're Ryan Leaf, how do you step up and try to set an example as a football coach? "Listen up, do as I say, not as I did."
  11. After two seasons, it would be hard to call any safety the next Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott. In his first two seasons however, I think Whitner has so far proven worthy of the #8 pick. He's solid on the field, and solid off of it. If he continues to progress the way he's trending right now, he is capable of being one of the league's better safeties.
  12. I'm in as well. Thanks for setting it up.
  13. Welcome, and Go Dorenbos!
  14. We went to the Seattle game last year, and the experience was great. We were all wearing Bills jerseys, and ran into a good number of Bills fans. The Seattle fans sitting near us were able to talk intelligently about football, and nobody gave us a bad time. Seattle's new stadium is also pretty impressive. We're in Southern California, so we're going to the Chargers game this November. Haven't been to a football game at the Murph in a while, so we'll see how they treat us down there.
