When I was 17, I ran the Skylon Marathon. Buffalo to Niagara Falls, Ontario. 4 Hours, 31 Minutes.
I've thought I would like to run one more, just to do it, but that would take a hell of a lot of work, and about 70 lbs lighter.
I lived in Walnut Creek for 13 years. Many, many times in Desert Hot Springs, LA, San Diego.
Thank you so much!!!!
That wasn't a bad idea! I would have to run to get more propane, and get the grill out of storage, but that would have been no problem.
We did. Nothing was tripped. However, a breaker on a wall plugged was popped. We reset that, and the oven started working again. So the plug that the oven is plugged into is connected to that wall plug. All is working. Just a Delay of Game on turkey.
That closed a couple of months ago.
The best tailgate I ever had was when my Dad and I went to the Miami playoff game in 91 (I think). We had subs in his truck, Hot Chocolate with some bourbon added for "flavor", then into the game. We sat all nice and warm in the truck and commented on all the shenanigans going on around us.
I think it comes down to a personal choice in terms of how you spend your money. Those who tailgate choose to spend their money on the RV's and necessary things to have a great tailgate. For people like my wife and I, we like to travel so we'll forgo the tailgating and take a Caribbean Cruise. Some may have something totally different that they choose to spend their money on. It's all a personal choice.
And I sooooo much wanted to say "Cocaine and hookers" as something others may choose to spend their money on, but I held back...
