The best tailgate I ever had was when my Dad and I went to the Miami playoff game in 91 (I think). We had subs in his truck, Hot Chocolate with some bourbon added for "flavor", then into the game. We sat all nice and warm in the truck and commented on all the shenanigans going on around us.

I think it comes down to a personal choice in terms of how you spend your money. Those who tailgate choose to spend their money on the RV's and necessary things to have a great tailgate. For people like my wife and I, we like to travel so we'll forgo the tailgating and take a Caribbean Cruise. Some may have something totally different that they choose to spend their money on. It's all a personal choice. And I sooooo much wanted to say "Cocaine and hookers" as something others may choose to spend their money on, but I held back...

I'm working a 15 hour shift Thanksgiving Day. Maybe that will bring us good luck. And for those inquiring minds, time and a half (10 hours for working on the holiday), 10 hours additional holiday pay, triple time working overtime on a holiday (5 hours). Same with Black Friday, another 15 hour, holiday time and pay shift. I should be able to buy a Cody Ford jersey with that paycheck.

The blowout loss the Bills suffered today? Or the heartbreak loss the Sabres had, with the Rangers scoring with 0.7 seconds to win the game? For me, I would take the Sabres loss. They were in the game. Lots to build off of. The way the Bills played, not much to build on.

1st and 2nd half threads are for when the game is actually happening. When the half is over, threads get locked. Then the post game thread starts. No reason to keep the 1st half thread open in the 2nd half. No reason to keep the 2nd half thread open for the post game discussion.

I'm confident we are a playoff team. Once in the playoffs, anything can happen. Tampa won 3 road games last year to get to the Super Bowl. Anything can happen.

Defense needs a rethink. We cannot stop the run against quality teams. I trust that McDermott and Fraiser can mae the necessary adjustments so we can be sucessful against quality teams.
