  1. Rangers first goal. Sabres had ample opportunity to clear the zone. Lazy swipes at the puck, Rangers controlled it. Goal for NYR.
  2. RushCon will be in Toronto on Aug 8, right in-between the two Toronto shows. www.rushcon.org.
  3. Except for the odd tribute show where they played a couple of songs, Geddy hasn't sang professionally for over 10 years. The rest he has had on his voice will make this tour not a problem for him vocally. That's not me saying it. That's from professional singers I know who have commented on this.
  4. I believe that was at the London Taylor Hawkins tribute, and it was certainly tongue in cheek.
  5. In the video at the RRHOF, Geddy talked about this. He was saying that when Anika was playing and getting more involved with Rush, that Geddy and Alex had to describe the feel they had when Neil played with them, and tried to convey that to Anika and to have her try and reproduce that same feel, not only for Geddy and Alex, but to the audience so they would hear the songs live on this tour as they remember them. For Rush to get to this point, I would say Anika did her job wonderfully.
  6. Rush's new drummer for this tour. She ain't bad.
  7. I'm all signed up for the pre-sale. Gonna be a busy summer. Rush in either Toronto or Cleveland, Italy, and a Greek Island cruise in the span of 30 days.
  8. It's a good thing I cancelled all my Bills bets on FamDuel before the game
  9. How many turnovers were negated by penalties today?
  10. Not with the way Dart played today against a no win team
  11. I was thinking how to word that drive, and you did it perfectly
  12. How can you argue with this?
  13. In my younger years, absolutely. Now quickly approaching 60, no time for that stuff. I'd rather drink at home and listen to the radio. (And surfing the net).
  14. Are you talking about the Game Day threads?
  15. I think the blue endzones and the mid-field logo are sown into the turf. Not a paint job, so changing them would be difficult.
  16. I had never heard of this until I started working for my wife. She owns a Literacy Center for children and adults who fit the Dyslexia profile. A common diagnosis to go along with Dyslexia is Irlen Syndrome. From Google: Irlen Syndrome, also known as Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome (SSS), is a neurological condition that affects how the brain processes visual information, particularly in response to certain wavelengths of light. Symptoms: Difficulty reading (e.g., blurred vision, eye strain, headaches) Sensitivity to bright lights Visual distortions (e.g., halos, shimmering text) Poor depth perception Motion sickness Fatigue Difficulty concentrating Causes: The exact cause of Irlen Syndrome is unknown, but it is believed to be related to an imbalance in the brain's processing of visual signals. It may be associated with other conditions, such as dyslexia, autism, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Diagnosis: Irlen Syndrome is typically diagnosed through a screening test that involves wearing colored overlays or lenses and observing how they affect the individual's vision and symptoms. Treatment: The primary treatment for Irlen Syndrome is the use of colored overlays or lenses that filter out specific wavelengths of light that cause discomfort. These filters can help to reduce eye strain, improve reading ability, and enhance concentration. Other interventions may include: Adjusting lighting in the environment Using audiobooks or other non-visual learning methods Employing assistive technologies, such as magnification devices Prevalence: The prevalence of Irlen Syndrome is estimated to be around 1-10% of the population. It is more common in individuals with learning disabilities or other neurological conditions. Note: It's important to note that Irlen Syndrome is a controversial condition, with some researchers questioning its existence or effectiveness. However, many individuals report significant improvement in their symptoms with the use of colored filters or lenses. I was screened this morning, and I was diagnosed with a severe case of Irlen's. I'm not dyslexic, but have ADHD which Irlen's can also be a common diagnosis with. I tried a number of different lens overlays. And holy F!!! The difference the correct overlays made in my vision was life changing. I'll be ordering my Irlen glasses tomorrow. This will help me with work, school, golf, basically everything.
  17. I like what Prime Vision is doing, with 3 different field goal lines and percentage of probability making the kick.
  18. Don't worry. I got your back. Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberries. Fight me.
