Looking at the 950 mb model for winds, it did have light winds from the East. I'm still learning more about this.

I was looking at the GFS (National Weather Service) model (The NWS has 21 models to choose from), 200 mb Height, (dam), Kit (kt). A couple of other models like the Canadian RDPS Model has moderate winds blowing from the East. The trick with extended range forecasting is taking a number of models, and finding common trends between them all. The models are generated by banks of supercomputers, but to accurately decipher all the models, it takes a human brain.

I'm liking Pivotal Weather. The actual forecast doesn't go out more than 48 hours, which in meteorology circles is the time frame to predict with some certainly a moderately accurate forecast. So I looked at some extended models. From what I can see, temps will be about 30 degrees with a chance of flurries. Winds could be a factor, blowing from the Northeast. There will be low pressure right off the Massachusetts coast, which could extend the windy conditions inland to Foxborough.

Interesting that many here don't give us a chance, but those like Nick Wright are saying that this years Bills team has the talent to make it to the Superbowl.
