God God Almighty. It's spelled Weis. One "s" Weis Weis Weis Weis. Phew..... Anyone who's a Notre Dame fan knows that Weis won't be going anywhere for some time. He's made it clear that the NFL had their chance and he's very settled at Notre Dame. I'm not naive enough to think he may never leave. IF it happens, it will be many years down the road and it will be the NY Giants job.

According to ESPN Radio and Bill Belichick himself at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Mangini accepted less money to stay and turned down larger offers from Miami and Cleveland.

It was reported yesterday that Belichick asked Bob Kraft for more money for the assistants I doubt Mangini goes anywhere Pees and Pepper Johnson might be gone though.

It also makes sense for Mangini to take the Pats job over the others because he should get a head coaching job sooner staying with Belichick versus going to Cleveland or Miami. If the money is close, he's staying.

Could you please explain how the Patriots are cheapskates since they are right up to the limit on the cap every year? The Patriots made the decision to go with Rodney Harrison over Milloy. It was the right one.

Notre Dame is shooting much higher and the people involved in this search know how importnt the next hire is. Graves and Jenkins aren't Monk Malloy. They actually care about the football program

Notre Dame is having some rough times but it's not unlike Oklahoma or USC and what they went through. Notre Dame is a "Jon Gruden" away from becoming a national power again.
