  1. Baker had a helmet to helmet hit on our receiver. Not called of course
  2. I swear the clock is moving slower the closer it gets to game time!
  3. Hell no, I'm sick of playing at KC. Bring them to our home for a change!
  4. Not hoping for, but fully expecting it. Which just makes this a playoff game for the Bills. To me it's just like any other playoff game. Win and move on. Lose and go home. It's not any more gut wrenching than any other Bills playoff game. With that said, hell yeah I'm nervous, but I also have a sense of positive anticipation.
  5. Oops, I guess I touched on the 3rd rail topic of vaccinations. Some people never got polio vaccine and didn't ever get it, so I guess they should have just never pushed it and saved tens of thousands from the crippling disease. The logic of some here cracks me up - but I will bow out now, there's no convincing people whose minds are made up. Peace out - praying the Bills can all stay healthy!
  6. I know it's possible that he got a different strain and did get a flu shot. Since that was not advertised at the time I assumed it was not the case. I'm just saying I hope everyone is flu vaccinated to at least increase your chance of not getting it, because the time of year that it goes around is PLAYOFF time, and missing a game or having to play when your compromised is not in the best interest of the team.
  7. I hope it's not the flu - the last thing we need is to have a bug spreading around the team at this time of year. I remember when Bruce Smith got the flu and missed the playoff game at Pittsburgh, and we lost. Really made me angry- the stupidity of not getting a flu shot when there can be such huge ramifications if you don't and get sick at the wrong time. There simply is no such thing as just playing anyway if you get a knock-you-on-your-ass type of flu.
  8. Agreed, there is a lot riding on this game for both teams. It's a big game. For the Bills we will know just how big before kickoff. For us it may or may not be do or die, while for the Dolphins they are in either way. Regardless of that aspect, for either the difference between a lower seed and the #2 seed is big and both will be playing with desire to win. If the Dolphins win they get the 2 seed, which means a home game on wild card weekend and if they win that, a home game on divisional weekend
  9. Happy New Years all! Let's hope some good things are in store for Bills and their fans in the New Year! Go Bills!
  10. Kind of weird that it will be us and Miami playing the last regular season game for the whole NFL. It will be the only thing left to decide and the spotlight will be bright. Who will stand tall and who will wilt? I'm looking forward to it!
  11. It's just like a playoff game to me, so just gotta get yourself into the do or die mindset, no more mulligans.
  12. On New Years Eve I'd just like to say Happy New Year to all my fellow Bills fans. 7 weeks ago the Bills had dropped 2 straight to go to 5-5 and it felt like all was lost for the season. Since then they've won 5 of 6 and get to play Miami next week for the division title and number 2 seed. Not too many expected that! Just win and in baby, forget the rest! Go Bills !!!
  13. You missed one - the slightly consequential loss by the Dolphins 😁
  14. I agree. No way they let the Pats sweep us. Bills know what's on the line and what's in front of them. In a must win game at home - we win in convincing fashion.
  15. Really need Miami to lose to Baltimore (and of course us to beat NE) so that we can beat Miami for the AFC East crown. If things stand as they are now (with us at 6 and KC at 3), we'd have to go play the damn Chiefs in KC AGAIN. Don't want that...
  16. If those likely 3 items happen and we clinch next week, AND Miami manages to beat the Ravens next week (forgive me for the juju), it would seem we would have little to play for in Miami outside of some slight advantage in seeding, is that correct? Is it conceivable we would rest starters and essentially let Miami have the one seed?
  17. Wow, I sure hope Josh doesn't read his appreciation thread. All the Negative Nancies jump in
  18. Man there's no group that can put a Debby Downer on a player, a coach, or a team like some of our Bills "fans" can, even after a W. Get a grip. The only thing you're perfect at is bitchin.
  19. Congrats James - a well deserved honor!
  20. I'm one of the many that truly appreciates the team that we have. For how competitive they are, and for the greatness that is yet to come. Go Bills!
  21. thanks - fixed that...
  22. Last week when we won I felt relieved that we got the win in a tight game and lived to fight another day. This one is different - such a dominant performance against a top tier opponent has me thinking about more than just surviving our way into the playoffs. If we can keep this up we will be a force to be reckoned with - and it really does feel like all the pieces are coming together at the right time. I understand we have to play one game at a time but I'm certainly feeling way more optimistic now. Go Bills!
  23. Kudo's to James Cook for a great game, also to the O-line who were blowing open holes, and to Brady for the willingness to stick with what was working! The significance of this heightened threat for opposing defenses is huge.
  24. Cowboys fans having a raging debate about Josh Allen, some saying he's the best QB they'll see in the regular season and the Boys better be ready, and others saying he's in the top 10 but a turnover machine so they're not worried at all. Most though, acknowledge that the Bills are dangerous right now, with their backs to the wall - and that the Cowboys have not played their best football on the road.
