  1. I bet that was the best tasting crow you ever had!
  2. Uh, maybe you'll say that was 2 Rivers screw ups - but I say - DEFENSE SAVED THE DAY!!! Go Bills!!
  3. Way to go baby - that int was HUGE! Looks like Ralphie's going get a nice BDay present today!
  4. Wow, this is shaping up to be a great 4th qrtr. Hope we finish the game w a great defensive stand to win.
  5. In Atlanta, we get to see Pittsburgh - Cinci. Yippee. I don't know how these games get picked, but down here the Bills get zero respect. The ONLY time you see them is Sunday night, Monday night, Thurs night games - when they have to show them. Meanwhile freakin Dallas has been on 5 times already. Gag me!
  6. Ladainian can't hear the crowd Here's a photo of Ladainian Tomlinson after scoring his 4th qtr TD at Buffalo in their 24-21 win, December 06. I guess he's doing the "I can't hear you now" pose for our crowd. I hope he hears us loud and clear Sunday!
  7. More recently, the Bolts beat us at home 2 years ago 24-21 (December). I remember that game because we had a chance to win but in the fourth quarter their running game just wore the Bills out. The crowd was really pumped up, imploring the defense to get the much needed stop, but Ladainian Tomlinson just kept getting first downs. At one point, after a run he jumped up and cockily waved his arms, imploring the crowd to get louder. That really made my blood boil, but sadly, our D could not stop them. I'm looking forward to some payback. Go Bills
  8. So, what you're saying is WE'RE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS, for the first time in, like, forever?!! I mean, 10-6 gets you in. I'm glad there's others here on the board that are confident (like me) that we'll get in this year. Keep the faith bro!
  9. It is a very good time for the bye week indeed. Let's pray that Edwards concussion was not severe and that he is back in there for San Diego. What I fear a little is that once other teams see that a QB might be vulnerable to concussions, maybe they start going for the hard hits more than they would otherwise. Any idea how long QB's are typically out for a concussion?
  10. Well, how about the Giants beaten 33-15 by the Niners, and 41-17 by the Vikings last year? Not exactly powerhouses there...
  11. I still question why Jauron did not call for the play to be reviewed. In any event it was CLOSE. It might have been overturned, and we desperately needed to maintain possession to have a chance in this game. Poor judgement displayed there. In the end, it did not come close to costing us the game - but had our D being playing a little better it could have.
  12. The game would have been closer with Trent in there, but I think we still would have lost. Remember, in our comeback wins, it was not only Trent leading the offense to direly needed scores, that had to be combined with at least SOME stops by our D. And that was just not in the Cards today.
  13. I don't see how anyone in their right mind would try to pin this on anything but the defense. How many times did they punt for god's sake? Even w Trent healthy, w a defense that porous we'd have had to score on every possession to win, and that's just highly unlikely. Where was the pressure on Warner? He was just tearing us up with his 5-10 yard passes, all day long. I do hope Trent gets better soon. Maybe the defense felt deflated when he went down? It's still no excuse. Not the end of the world though. 1 loss against an NFC opponent. We're 4-1, and if you said before the season we'd be 4-1 I'd be elated.
  14. Certainly this is a game we could lose without it hurting us much. Still it would be AWESOME to get the win. In fact, being 5-0 would seem kindof surreal. I'm concerned about whether or not Stroud plays. I haven't been able to find out much about his condition. If he plays a good bit - I think we have a good chance of winning. If he is out I'm not so sure - our D really seems to play much better with him on the field.
  15. I still can't help but wonder - if there was a way those guys could have seen into the future, the wide right, and all the misery in the following 3, might they have possibly found a way to dig a little deeper, to get the extra yards, to at least get closer, and maybe, just maybe - who knows - Norwood the hero, wild celebration in the streets, maybe more to come. It hurts just to wonder. Having a team on the rise is the best salve I know for those old wounds.
  16. You're not implying they will be carrying a "NY grudge" and wanting to bake the boys from the north are you? Problem is their dome spoiled guys are probably less used to the heat than the Bills are.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure I've seen them all yet - but of those I've seen so far those are the best. Seems when the throwback goes too far back, they just get get funny ugly looking.
  18. He looked kind of weird too - arm all crumpled up w hand held up near shoulder. All you could see was the grimace behind that big black mask. Plus dificulty walking. He looked pretty f'd up
  19. Uhm, is it just me or are the Steelers throwbacks also mighty fuggly?
  20. Phoenix weather forecast: Saturday Through Sunday Night...Clear. Lows in the mid 60s to lower 70s. Highs in the lower to mid 90s. I lived (and worked outside) there for 5 years - low to mid 90's there is nothing compared to the heat + humidity they played in at Jacksonville. Heat will not be a factor. Also, there are a TON of Buffalo transplants out there - Heck, they now have 25 Native New Yorker restaurants that serve authentic Beef on Weck and Wings. You will all be pleasantly surprised by how many Bills faithful turn out to rock the house for their beloved Bills!
  21. I hope I get to find out which team is better in the AFC Championship game in Buffalo
  22. 25-0 second half - Awesome! Here we come Cards!
  23. Yeah, I've had one of those mini Riddell helmets on display there - people would say - "oh you're a Bills fan? Sorry."
