This is the more likely scenario - talk of Bills winning the division is post Cowboys stomping fantasy (barring something unforeseen like a Brady injury). I do think we'll beat whoever we play in the wild card game. Then who would we rather play next - Patriots or Ravens? I'm with you, I'd rather go to NE for that 2nd round game.

If the Niners defense can't find a way to slow the Raven's offense down, I don't think we will. I'm hoping that they "show us the way". It's also possible that Baltimore is getting all jacked up about their big game with the Niners, and will have some form of let down against us. Plus we are at home. I'd like the Niners to lose in a hard fought close game - as I don't want the Raven's coming in here smarting from a loss.

from "blogging the boys" @ SB Nation: This is the summary of their "Grading the Cowboys" blog. I get that they are bent out of shape at the Cowboys and want to grade them an F. But they dissed the Bills too. Not cool. "Summary: F An utterly inept performance in every way where a mediocre Buffalo Bills team thoroughly dominated the Cowboys in all three phases of the game. Reports before the game were that Jason Garrett wouldn’t be fired until the end of the season regardless of results. That’s too bad."

Dude has fire in his belly. Great leader for the Bills! -

I dug this up, but no real pattern emerges, other than the Cowboys have not dominated... Thanksgiving games, last 8 years: Cowboys record: 4-4 Cowboys when at home the week prior: 1-2 Cowboys when away the week prior: 3-2 Opponents when at home the week prior: 3-4 Opponents when away the week prior: 1-0 -

There is a lot of pressure on both teams for this game. Dallas is taking heat from their fans, their coach is taking heat for play calling, and they're all pissed off about being robbed by the refs. Plus they NEED the win to stay in first place. Buffalo needs to prove they can beat a team with a winning record, that they don't wilt under the national spotlight, and needs the win because they have some even tougher games ahead. I'm guessing the Cowboys punch us in the mouth early as they will be pumped. We need to survive that early pressure, stay calm, and show our moxie. I like our chances! -

Does anyone know what this weeks plans are for the Bills? I'm thinking they fly to Dallas Wednesday am, in time to get some practice in there Wed pm. What about today and Tuesday - do they practice both days, use one for film review and game planning? I thought Monday's were always "days off" but am not sure. -

True.... but, we'll be flying there later, while they've been home awhile and won't have to go anywhere. Not sure either team got a bigger break on that aspect. -

Psychologists say that the biggest hurts create more lasting damage, and makes us risk averse. In this case it's happening so we just gotta hope and believe that the past has absolutely nothing to do with the present. That being said, winning a game in their stadium as underdogs would help ease that old pain you referred to quite a bit. -
I'll have some large glasses of other drinks, but like you will be pulling for the Bills to pull off the upsets!

Correction, they are 6 and 5 ? -
My worry for the Bills is - they ran the ball down NE's throat. And NE has a damn good defense. Ours has been good, but against a really good running game, not so much.
-
So you can't believe the Cowboys lost to NE, in NE? Yet everyone here has already written off the Bills-NE game (in NE) as a sure loss for the Bills. That SEEMS like what you are saying in a round about way is that the Cowboys are much better than the Bills, and if that is assumed to be true - we should have no chance against Dallas at home.

It's not going to be easy at Dallas this Thursday. They'll be taking heat for their play/decisions. Also, for a while they were just stuffing the ball down NE's throat with the run. Not sure why they backed off of that. We better be sharp in all phases.
