On the way down from DeAndre hopkins though who has two hands on it...its a tough task for sure

The throw was absolutely perfect somehow thats the mind-blowing part for me...an inch higher and its out of his reach and an inch lower it gets swatted

My take on this is, when we talk about a throw being perfect i.e. exactly where it needed to be - on a hail Mary, that is a lucky throw, plain and simple.  No way does the QB know when he heaves it that it is going to land in that perfect place where only his guy is going to be able to get it.  These type plays are so sensational simply because the odds of that happening are so low.  I just don't give too much credit to the QB - he got lucky.  The receiver though does deserves credit for staying focused on the ball, jumping at just the right time, and bringing it down in heavy traffic.

  2. I thought the catch by Diggs for the go ahead TD was a miraculous play - we came from behind, got ballsy on an end zone throw instead of settling for a field goal and WON THE GAME!    It was not a likely ending, based on the way we'd been playing in the second half, but damn if we didn't snag the win.  BUT - shortly thereafter, a bigger miracle, of a much more unlikely kind.  Seconds left, the hail mary throw - three defenders around hopkins, yet he comes down with the ball in the end zone.  I can't be mad about it - they out miracled us.  At least it was non conference - we'll be ok.

Heres the thing, the Bills defense didn't play well but the Bills offense basically gift wrapped them at least 10 points with the two INTs. The Bills would be in the game without that. For as bad as they played if they didn't turn over the ball they'd be right there in this game.

The last one in particular.  It was 21-10 and we were driving.  With a TD there we'd be at 21-17.  Instead all of a sudden the INT and a quick TD by them.  28-10 is a whole different ball game :(

Of course. I’d rather have those things too. But I’m enjoying the ride. When’s the last time we’ve had a player (let alone a QB) worthy of MVP consideration? Fred Jackson’s hot start in the mid-2000s before he was injured and lost for the year? Been too long.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the ride too.  I just don't get too concerned about how much love the media is giving Josh Allen or the Bills.  That's all superfluous BS that just doesn't matter.  Winning games matters, media perceptions, not so much.  In fact I like it better when they are doubters, it helps give the team an us vs the world mentality.

Josh still getting no love for MVP on NFL total access. Russ and Rodgers I get. It’s arguable. But no one else should be higher than Allen through 4 games. Not even Mahomes. Tie between Russ, Rodgers, and Allen. We’ll see if our boy can hang with those heavyweights all year long.

Frankly I could care less if Allen gets MVP or not.  It's one of those accolades that is really kind of meaningless in the grand scheme of things.  I care about getting to the playoffs, winning playoff games, and ultimately winning the Super Bowl.  If Josh helps us do that AND gets MVP, that would be great.

  6. I'm a Bills fan tried and true, but the Rams fans must be livid at the PI call on 4th down at the end.  I'm thinking in 9 out of 10 games in that situation, there is no flag thrown and the Bills lose.  I'm really glad we got that break (the kind that historically has been incredibly rare for the Bills).

As for the Interception call, it was egregious.  Kroft catches the pass, holds it all the way to the ground, and the defender who puts his hands on the ball late in the play never rips the ball away.  Still - we need to remember it was already 1st and 20 when that play started.  If the play had not been called an interception, but the penalty held, it would have been 1st and 30.  There's no certainty we get a first down out of that.  In all likelihood we'd have been punting.  And then they get the ball, albeit a little time passes first, and we are in the same situation, needing to stop them.  Which we didn't.  While we all hate calls that are so seriously botched, I don't think it was the game changer everyone is saying it was.
