  1. For the Dolphins this is their Super Bowl. I suspect this is going to be tougher than people think, but expect to see a W for the Bills.
  2. In the last Phins game I watched the announcers talked a lot about how Tua throws the soft ball, with a lot of arc, and that the benefit was he could throw safely over defenders at the line and others not directly on the receiver. They mentioned he rarely threw balls with zip. We'll see how well that plays if the winds get a whippin!
  3. I don't want to rely on the cold or snow hurting the Dolphins. If anything all this talk of how they can't play in the cold is going to motivate them even more. I suspect they'll put up a good fight but am banking on the fact that our team is better to be the reason we win.
  4. Their D looks pretty impressive. With a conservative game manager type QB they could go deep into the playoffs. He's looked like more than just a game manager the first 2 games. A big question for me will be if they get into the playoffs, will he wilt under the pressure of it all, or keep playing with the confidence he's been showing?
  5. Fish out of water hopes frozen by Frigid air strangled by Bills D
  6. I'll take the pretty bad play caller who has us at 10-3 and first seed in the AFC every time.
  7. even themselves a couple times 😁
  8. When Mahomes threw his helmet at the ground: "F*$&!, now we'll have to play in Buffalo!!!
  9. Wow! They showed both the Dolphins and the Chiefs games here in Atlanta - flipping back and forth furiously all afternoon. So awesome to see them both lose! Niners defense is stout.
  10. and the Titans! Buffalo now controls its own destiny - Go take it Bills!!
  11. Best thing I've heard all night - Patriots fans booing. Classy.
  12. I know you're all past this point, but for sure it was blue on blue. My avatar is Josh getting the first down on a fourth down keeper play in that Dallas game and you can see the blue on blue. Josh was not going to be denied on that play, and right then it became obvious to me that we had secured a hell of a QB - he won me over with his grit.
  13. bumping this, not sure anyone has noticed it...
  14. Andy Reid thinks so too: Andy Reid brings up "13 seconds" after win over Chargers
  15. At the bottom of the box you normally type in for a post, it says "Drag files here to attach or choose files... If you click on the choose files link, you navigate to your photos and select them, then they are posted.
  16. Ah yes, that was quite a storm. These are a couple of pictures I took near my Aunt's house in Town of Tonawanda. It seems like this snowfall that's going on now is going to top that one!
  17. Here in Atlanta they've closed the schools with no snow on the ground just because the forecast called for snow the next morning. Often it never came and schools were closed anyway.😆. And of course the same run on milk and eggs.
  18. Who the F gives a crap about whether Josh Allen gets MVP? I'm kind of sick about hearing all that talk. We need to win games and championships. If he is worrying about being MVP we have a real problem.
  19. I was stunned to read that he was replaced by someone with NO NFL or college coaching experience. Found this: "The Indianapolis Colts hired Jeff Saturday, who has never coached above the high school level, as their interim head coach on Monday. The move stunned fans, the news media and executives of other N.F.L. teams. Saturday, most recently an ESPN analyst, was a two-time All-Pro center for the Colts and the Green Bay Packers over a 14-year career. But as a coach, his only job has been as an assistant and then the head coach at Hebron Christian Academy, a high school in Dacula, Ga., a suburb northeast of Atlanta. His record there was 20-16." I lived in Dacula, GA for 14 years. There is some pretty good high school football teams in the Atlanta metro area, but Dacula is a sleepy little suburb and the Hebron Christian academy football team was never taken seriously and was mostly laughed at by the big boy teams in the public schools. How the hell he made the jump from there to being a head coach in the NFL is a real puzzler.
  20. I agree. I think the Bills thought the Packers were going to HAVE to start throwing the ball in the second half, and they stuck to their guns in being prepared for it. It cost us in the run game with respect to yardage, but normally, if you're down three scores in the second half against a team with a competent offense, running the ball is not a winning strategy. It did not turn out to be one for the Packers. They never got closer than 10 points after our first couple scores and the Bills secured the win without much drama. I'll take it. Something we need to keep in mind is all the media keeps talking about is how great the Bills are, how they're the Super Bowl favorite, etc. EVERY team we play is going to come at us with everything they have because they want to prove themselves.
  21. Let's hope it's built in just the right position that the visiting team never gets any sun, while the Bills sidelines gets as much as possible for 1 pm start times. Just opposite of Miami's stadium that keeps the Dolphins sideline nice and shady while visitors broil.
  22. Bills fan, now living in Georgia.
  23. I was amazed at how loud that crowd was, all game long (til the last 51 seconds of course). It has to be hard to play in that. I look forward to having that Chiefs team in a crazy loud Bills stadium for the AFC Championship, with the Bills feeding off the crowd's energy. The Pats got a taste of that in last years home playoff game. So much to look forward to - Go Bills!!!
