  1. Not perfect but it works...
  2. Something else helps his case more - and is FAR more important than the MVP race. The only way Allen winning the MVP means anything to me is if he also hoists the Lombardi trophy.
  3. Loved the play where he pancaked their center and crawled over him to get to Goff!
  4. I call BS. We had leads of 10, 14, and 17 points for a lot of the game, and it was never less than a touchdown until under a minute to play. Would we love to win by two or three touchdowns? Sure - but no need to go all negative after a colossal win like that. All the prognosticators said we'd lose and the Bills went out and proved them wrong. Go Bills!
  5. No one can rightfully say that any other team in the NFL is far superior to the Bills, and the fans of every team have things that they worry about. I'd rather be having a season like the Bills have had going into the playoffs than one like the Chief's have had, where damn near every game is ridiculously close to disaster. I think their luck is going to run out in the playoffs. Conversely it seems like Lady luck just has to eventually end up gracing the Bills in the playoffs - and there's no reason to say it can't be this year. Keep the faith Bills fans!
  6. Isn't part of the issue with what we consider the "bad" games by the defense the turnovers? We've got 24 turnovers to our credit this year, just about 2 per game, and our turnover differential is +17, just about 1.5 per game. When we win the turnover battle we win and the defense gets credit for being good. So yesterday was not a normal day for Buffalo in that department either and if it had been we probably would have won. Many on this board have for years wanted the focus to be on spending for the offense, with the assumption being that a high scoring offense can beat anyone, even if the defense is not great. I don't think we need to put our D in the "weak" category yet, and we may still win the Superbowl this year because of how damn explosive the offense is. I'm just saying, all is not lost...
  7. I wonder how many times in the NFL a team scores 42 points in regulation and never has a lead in the game? It's a shame...
  8. If "game of the year" is meant to describe some kind of incredible game, by virtue of either super high scoring OR of one team mounting an amazing comeback, guess what - those are the most likely kind of games to lose. I'm a lot less worried about what everyone is going ballistic about in the couple of coaching calls no one likes than I am about how our defense got destroyed.
  9. Despite all the poor play by the defense, at the end of the day you're probably right. Without this one super rare play, decent chance we would have won.
  10. Someone else probably said it, but shouldn't we have declined the penalty, which would have made it 4th and 7? I suspect they would have tried the field goal. Instead we take the penalty, creates a 3rd and 17, they get 12 yards to make it 4th and 5 and they go for it. I think that decision likely cost us the game.
  11. I fully agree and have no doubt that years from now, we will remember this time as The Good Old Days. Soak these games in and enjoy them. Something special is happening right before our eyes! Go Bills!!!
  12. That's my avatar. That play sealed it for me - I fell in love with Josh Allen as our QB because of the heart and grit he showed on that play!
  13. FINALLY beat them on our field! So happy for the team and the fans who got to enjoy that win so much together. The stadium just erupted with joy on the Allen touchdown run to seal it!! Pure joy for Bills fans, sure which I had been there.
  14. I know it's not the Super Bowl, and win or lose what matters most is the playoffs, but I want the Bills to win today for the FANS in the stadium. In the Mahomes era we have not beat them yet on our field. The fans really do want to enjoy the feeling of beating them in OUR house!
