  1. I've been a fan for over fifty years but have only been to 5 Bills games over the years. Including this one since I now live in Atlanta. We were favored in each, but we lost every one of them. Sorry.
  2. I lived in Garland for 4 years in the mid-80's. They had a fall. It lasted a week 😄
  3. Glad you got to witness a W in the home stadium! Hope you had a great time with all your Buffalo Bills brethren.
  4. Phewww! I'll take the win but lord that had us sweating it out.
  5. Bills are stampeding Phins are trampled under foot Thunderous music
  6. I loved what he said at the end of the game when asked about how it felt to kick the game winner in that situation. Basically said "it's all about the team, they got me down there. All I do is swing a leg". Cool and composed and also humble. What's not to like?
  7. If they are anything like a lot of our overreacting fans, I'm sure they are.
  8. I have to admit, I was kind of thinking that at the time. If this was Bass, how nervous would I be. More.
  9. Great game, reminded me of the comeback against the Oilers back in the day. Similar situation with half the fans leaving. One for the ages!! For all the haters on the game day thread, eat crow! Even if we had lost it was no reason to start talking about firing people. Go Bills!
  10. I remember that - Bills won 31-0. And it was mostly downhill from there for the Bills - who finished 6-10. Last game of the year was at New England where the Pats won by the same 31-0 score. Yes, the first game is often the most meaningless. Especially now with the short preseason where many of the starters get so little playing time.
  11. Happy Birthday to Marv, the Centenarian! Thanks for all the memories!
  12. You got one of em!
  13. Seems like this is our year for the one year deals. Like playing slots, you are gambling with some of these guys, but if they outperform their norms and/or stay healthy when they haven't, there is the chance to score big.
  14. I hate to say it but in hindsight I'm now glad the Bills didn't advance to the Super Bowl. That Eagles team was not going to let anyone stand between them and the Lombardi. When the Allen led Bills get to their first Super Bowl the team needs to be solid in all phases and they need to win. If they get there and lose it will be very hard to get the "Bills can't win a Super Bowl" monkey off their back. Thinking you can just have an offense that is so good you can boat race anyone just doesn't cut it for me because there is too great of a chance of ending up on the short end of the stick. Normally I'm 100% in on the "you can't win it if you don't get there" train, but I just don't think we were ready this year on defense, even when everyone was healthy. With all that said I think we had a great season and exceeded expectations. And yes, I think we would have done better than the Chiefs but losing with a better showing would not have made any of us feel better. Go Bills!
  15. Concerning number 3. When I saw the Pringles commercial with the flying mustaches I thought at first it was a continuation of the Little Caesars one with the flying eyebrows. Weird that two products did basically the same thing?
