  1. Wouldn't shock me to see Brown dealt to the Jets, despite what Vrabel said.
  2. I don’t mind if they miss on a guy like this - they’ve proven they can develop elite athletes into well-rounded players and it’s better to aim high ceiling. If they take him it means they have a plan for him and I’ll be fine with it.
  3. Moss was hopefully hurt or out of shape last season or both. He looked nothing like a professional football player when he played.
  4. Hopefully his mom and dad are still in his corner but they're likely giving him one more season to prove himself.
  5. Right but my point is the Bears knew the rules (one assumes) and if they wanted him badly enough, they could’ve made it harder on Buffalo.
  6. Couldn’t the Bears have just given him a fully guaranteed contract if they wanted to make it restructure-proof?
  7. He excels at nothing, which for some reason fits their draft profile at the position.
  8. It does seem like a bit of a loophole. Although I guess the Bears could’ve guaranteed more of it if they wanted to limit the Bills’ flexibility there.
  9. Discussing “discuss” - how meta…
  10. Honestly it's news to me that you can do this - I thought you were "stuck" with the contract an RFA signs once you match it.
  11. And they met with Kyle Hamilton and Joe B today speculated that they might try to trade up for him if he starts to slide. Plus Poyer/his wife seem to agitate about his contract every offseason. He just put in his best season as a pro and has one last shot to get big money. None of this is surprising.
  12. What does that have to do with what I posted?
  13. Supposedly Green Bay is very interested in him as a potential replacement for Adams.
  14. We are in the heyday. Enjoy the feeling.
  15. They have been eying safeties in the pre-draft process. This will almost certainly be the last year of having the Poyer/Hyde combination in the backfield - one or both of them will be on a new team in 2023.
  16. While I agree with that point, I also found it unseemly to hear McD waxing about “fairness” when asked about the proposed (now approved) new OT rules. Come on, brah, handle your business. Tomlin’s answer was much better. A defensive coach like McD shouldn’t need to (1) invest so many resources (high picks and cap dollars) into his side of the ball, and (2) appeal to “fairness” after he couldn’t execute a JV defensive strategy to seal what would’ve been the most important win for the franchise in 30 years.
  17. But at the very least you’d expect him to dominate lower-level competition he played against and he didn’t even do THAT. Twice the risk, really.
  18. He will be 23 when the season starts. The history of senior WRs transitioning to the NFL is littered with busts. Would be a very risky pick in Round 1.
  19. Oh so THIS he's privy to?
  20. Dotson is the guy I’d want. You’d be adding Desean Jackson in his prime. Offense would be borderline unstoppable.
  21. Saying something is true, when it's really not true, is HILARIOUS. You people don't understand comedy.
  22. Can we kick the messenger in the face?
