  1. Are you one of those posters who thinks that raising concerns about the roster creates “bad juju” which somehow impacts the team’s on-field performance?
  2. If you watched on Saturday you saw the difference between offense and defense in terms of depth and speed. It should not be too difficult of find guys like McKenzie and John Brown on the street, let alone a developmental TE and a change-of-pace RB who can catch passes out of the backfield. They simply cannot seem to do it on a consistent basis - Beasley was a win and Diggs was a major win but in terms of rounding out the offensive roster with speed and depth, there have been far too many misses.
  3. Every year Beane hands out 1-2 of these head-scratchers. Guessing he’d justify it with “hard to get free agents to come to Buffalo” which personally I feel is overblown. They’ve got a bit of an issue identifying offensive skill players in their Pro Personnel dept.
  4. The issue/key for Hodgins is whether he can achieve separation against quality NFL corners. His get-off was good last night - wouldn’t be surprised if they let him run against the first-string defenders over the next two games to see just how much he has improved.
  5. Whose hands did that bounce off of?
  6. Tasker may be drunk.
  7. Keenum is horrible.
  8. Tenuta has practice squad written all over him - he’s been awful today.
  9. Kumerow is on a razor’s edge to make the final 53 and he just dug himself a huge hole.
  10. I keep reading these reports and I’m not buying it (yet). The Pats are designed to operate a heavy formation against nickle defenses. They should be able to find a baseline amount of success with what they’re doing and I still expect them to compete most weeks. But I sure hope I’m wrong and the bottom falls out and Billy B calls it a career.
  11. Will be shown live on NFLN.
  12. Lol on the Shakir “touchdown” he was like two seconds late on his release from the LOS (and still burned Lewis).
  13. Oh yeah? Well Laurie Lisowski piloted my commercial flight yesterday.
  14. Is there somewhere you can bet on whether OBJ becomes a Bill before Patrick Kane becomes a Sabre, vice versa, or neither?
  15. First of all you mean metrics. Second of all, all metrics are “invented.” Third of all, you were against the pick from the jump and since your world view consists of, “Anything I say has to be right,” you continue to refuse to acknowledge what everyone else, such as the team which rushed to exercise his fifth year option, understands, including unbiased analysts like Football Outsiders who have no motive to defend the draft pick: Ed Oliver was easily the best player on the Bills’ d-line last season and one of the best defensive playmakers in the league. Not surprised you have no real quibble with their metrics other than calling them “invented” - ie “fake news” - that’s totally on-brand for you. Considering you sometimes sign into a burner account to hype up your own weak takes and got called out by a mod for it, this is to be fully expected. As for “rent free” - you were the one prowling around my profile yesterday…
  16. I realize that changing your mind based on external evidence isn’t part of your DNA, and I appreciate that you’re willing to be so public about being so wrong, so consistently. I’d say “never change” but I don’t have to, you won’t (other than the occasional dork-morph into alter ego “Jaraxxus”).
  17. Interesting list has Edmunds and Milano as three and two, respectively, for all LBs in the NFL in terms of how they measure "defeats." Poyer and Hyde and at the top of the safeties list. Ed Oliver way up there on the list for interior linemen, despite one post here who HAS NEVER BEEN WRONG OR CHANGED HIS MIND ABOUT ANYTHING telling us as recently as two days ago that Oliver is "overrated"...
  18. They are definitely cries for attention. Feeling neglected at home or the office? Start a new Edmunds thread!
  19. Every time a new Edmunds thread gets started, a baby seal dies.
