  1. The Browns, Eagles and Lions are showing this year that if you’ve got an elite offensive line, you’ve got a chance in every game. Really increases your margin for error.
  2. Love the breakdown of Rousseau at DT. Groot is becoming a monster.
  3. Eh, you had me until the last sentence. No part of me “misses losing,” but I do kind of miss the pre-Stephen A. Smith/Disney+ days, when you could find Simmons on ESPN Page 2 discussing blackjack beatdowns and other mis-adventures that as a 20-something I could totally relate to. It’s all gone corporate, loud and sterile now.
  4. A better, more sustainable way to improve the running game for the long haul is to invest in better linemen. Plus you might even end up re-signing them if they “hit.”
  5. Nah it’s just lingering Stockholm Syndrome from the drought years - some miserable fans fell in love with their torturers and continue to pine for the past.
  6. What you’re really describing is most likely a fear of success - pretty common in human nature. Failure is a cozy old shoe; winning brings raises expectations and the spotlight and some fans just can’t handle all of that.
  7. I like your weekly takes.
  8. Would like to see Dorsey reincorporate pre-snap motion. Was a Daboll staple. The running game could’ve gotten going last night with some McKenzie end-arounds testing the Titans’ boundary corners who were gassed from chasing Diggs around.
  9. In addition to being irrelevant, this may be the most boring debate in TSW history and that’s saying something for those of us who lived through the @Doc vs. @WEO sludge matches… seriously compression sleeves??
  10. Creed Humphrey is having one of the worst games I’ve ever seen.
  11. Has zero to do with his receivers tonight. He’s getting pressure in his face on every play.
  12. Al Michaels has lost his fastball. He’s washed.
  13. Chargers are gonna be a problem. Been saying it - we will see them in the AFCCG.
  14. Yeah no. Certainly in the second round he drafts for need. Arguably in other rounds as well, but he's willing to move around the board if he can so that his perceived need more closely aligns with value.
  15. Beane doesn't draft for need?
  16. https://theathletic.com/3591734/2022/09/14/bills-all-22-review-rams/?source=user_shared_article “While it’s good there is a lot of potential for growth on plays like this, the disappointing part is the fumble was entirely avoidable if Cook read it correctly.”
  17. Don’t sleep on the Eagles - this year’s Bengals.
  18. Vrabel’s teams are really good in close games. This should not be a close game.
  19. Yes but how many sharks are killed by coconuts every year? That’s what they DON’T want us to talk about.
  20. This has become a crusade. And possibly the dumbest one ever.
  21. Pretty sure it was Benford who missed that tackle on Kupp’s long gain. There have been plenty of clunker games under McD but I’m struggling to remember a single game with him as the coach where our secondary got roasted - it never happens.
  22. They’re still hiding him?
