Injuries aside the guard play has been awful this season and Spencer Brown is playing himself out of a job - and he’s the only Beane draft pick in the starting five. Inexcusable. Also insanely dumb are the rostering decisions - activating all the RBs and only five WRs on a day where one of your receivers is coming in injured and the game plan apparently calls for passing the ball SIXTY TIMES. Beane and McD, I know we all love them but they are a couple of gym teachers.

For reasons only the Maker knows, the Bills seem to be the easiest team to kick field goals and punts against in the NFL, like every year. It’s insane.

Appreciate that you do these, and a couple of posters including @JoPoy88outed themselves as pure trolls in this thread - just ignore them. Don’t agree with most of your takes this week and when Allen puts on the gold jacket in Canton someday the motto for his bust should be “One More Play.” Can’t blame him on a day when he was head and shoulders the best player on the field.

There is ONE Beane draftee on the o-line and he was benched today for sucking.

The Dolphins have false hope and are legit terrible - just where we want them. Unfortunately we have a coach who excels at program-building but puckers his %#*+% when the game gets tight, and the whole team suffers.

The coach is a program builder but not a gameday performer. He may have taken them as far as he can.

You start to wonder. In key moments McDermott coaches stupid and scared. He can build a program but can he go farther?

He’s been whiffing on tackles for Atlanta this year. In other words, he’s fitting in perfectly there.

Safety is probably their deepest position. They’ve drafted replacements already unlike elsewhere. An underrated impact of this will be on STs though, because the backup safeties play important roles there.

As I said in the offseason, the full import of “13 Seconds” would only be realized if we don’t get that close again. The Bills had a red carpet laid out for them last season and the coaches screwed it up. Losing Hyde is manageable but they can’t afford too many more.

Wonder if the Steelers would part with Claypool for a mid-round pick. They’ve got a glut of receivers of similar talent/profile. I would LOVE him in this offense.
