    Shaq and Phillips were very well-timed additions for Beane. If they win it all this year they should definitely be in the video. A sub-sub narrative to a historic season.

    I reiterate my proposal: McKenzie and a 4th or 5th for CMC. It’s a huge win just to get McKenzie off of the roster. Use CMC as your slot/motion/gimmick variable on offense.

    Again: no team is trading a quality interior linemen at this point in the season, unless they're on a terrible contract. Even teams that are tanking/changing coaches have a need for interior linemen.

    IF they do it - I’d hope they use him as a slot receiver who motions in and out of the backfield. If their plan is to use him as a traditional, RB1, then my crazy idea would be to make him inactive until the playoffs.

    For the folks saying "trade for a guard," it's fairly unprecedented for a starting interior lineman to be dealt midseason. Even teams in "tank mode" need to protect their QBs and run a basic offense. You just don't see quality interior linemen dealt at the deadline too often and it's not realistic to think it'll happen this year.

    Interesting - he was just declared out for Sunday for personal reasons and it sounds like he’s not coming back to the LAR so this may have legs…

    He has no burst though. Cannot find a second gear. You can find guys like him on the street - he’s still benefiting from his pedigree right now. They get better production from Warren, a UDFA, who is three times quicker to the hole.

    It’s all about the blocking upfront. Chris Jones steals souls from weak guards and we have two of them - need to account for 95 on every play.
