I come here for news, analysis and discussion. I could give a rat’s ass what someone’s gut is predicting about an injury. It’s useless information passed off as having a valid source.

IDK who needs to hear this (but apparently it’s at least half of this message board, most of Twitter and a good portion of political talk shows), but here goes: NO ONE GIVES A CRAP ABOUT YOUR “GUT FEELING.” Nobody. Not a single person in the world cares what your “gut” is telling you. We might as well hear from your cat, or read our Alphabets cereal in the morning. Look, I recognize that many people make significant financial and life decisions based on their “gut” and that’s their prerogative - but it takes a certain special kind of derangement to assume that any other human being cares a wink about what your “gut” says to you.

What in God’s name compels someone to write a post like this?

If Keenum has to play the next 2 weeks, both games are against his former teams, in his (now) home stadium. Kind of compelling.

I get it but it’s not THAT soft. On 3rd and 3 he gives up 4, on 3rd and 7 he gives up 8, on 3rd and 12… you get the idea.

Elam may be the easiest CB to throw against in the league right now. He's giving up easy completions at will. He may well be good someday but right now he's not playing well.

The 2022 draft has not had good early returns.

It’s really just this. The Jets came in with a great game plan and executed it. They brought the intensity and the Bills couldn’t match it. You wonder about the practice habits during the week because the post bye-week execution has been poor. But your overall point is spot-on: Allen and Dorsey need to be refocused a bit. The point is to win the game, not win every single play. McDermott needs to get more involved in making sure the offense has the right goal in mind. I hate it, because that might mean more settling for punts and field goals but a bad trend has been established where Allen and Dorsey are unable to give up on an individual play and the result is disaster.

Yesterday it was abundantly clear that Allen misses the 2020 version of Cole Beasley. Yesterday’s game would’ve been a vintage “Beasley Bailout” game. They need to find Allen some answers when other teams are able to bring pressure from their front four and press/double Diggs and Davis and keep the safeties back to prevent deep shots. The middle of the field is there for the taking but Allen doesn’t trust any of his outlet options for whatever reason.

The practice habits. There is no way they’re practicing well during the week with all of the botched execution and missed tackles.
