  1. He looks like Poz in those clips. Not a first round pick. High floor but lower ceiling.
  2. Yet look at all the action it’s gonna spur on here - Florio is good at what he does. Also - his stories are often based on tips/prods from agents. He’s usually not the first to spark the smoke.
  3. Joe B’s Athletic article today: Lions get Nos. 27 and 137, Bills get Nos. 48, 55, 183, 194 Bills picks after trade: Nos. 48, 55, 59, 91, 130, 183, 194, 205 Bills pick Campbell at 48, Marvin Mims at 55, Antonio Johnson at 59.
  4. This is not true at all. Philips may have the body type of a run stuffer but that’s never been his game, he’s a penetrator/passrusher. Oliver is a far better run stopper despite being smaller.
  5. Agreed this would be completely on-brand. And the Bills are a year away from having no DTs under contract and probably also moving on from one or both safeties and Tre White. Doubtful Epinesa gets a second contract here so you’ve got a hole there too. Another defense-heavy draft should not be a surprise.
  6. Ted Thompson absolutely, 100% was a failure. With the QB talent he had, in a crappy division, he should've steered that team to dynasty-level status.
  7. I think even Beane would admit he's been a failure to date. They don't give out participation trophies, or Cap Management Executive of the Year awards. It's Lombardi or bust, and being afraid to take bold steps because it may cost an extra $2-$3M or a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick is extremely shortsighted and the quickest way to be out of a job.
  8. Ha really? I know you've become the most vocal regime apologist on TSW but even you should be concerned if they end up going into the season with Allen and a bunch of spare parts on offense. I know, I know, hE tRaDeD a fIRsT fOr dIgGs... I will withhold judgement until September but if the offense doesn't get a significant talent upgrade across the board - other than this bizarre Goldilocks routine with running backs - it's a very bad look for the GM.
  9. My question is does this put more pressure on Dorsey in terms of game management?
  10. He’s not wrong. This is the second most important offseason of Beane’s career and it’s going to define him as a GM. Make the offense around Allen unstoppable or fall further behind in the AFC arms race. They don’t give out prizes for cap management.
  11. This board is a zombie apocalypse this morning.
  12. No one: The internet: Oh my God NO. NO WAY. We are NOT going to let this one idiot have a ridiculous opinion about something. NO WAY. We are going to collectively organize and research and build arguments and BEAT IT OUT OF HIM until he cries “uncle” and sees the error of his ways.
  13. I feel like with each minute that passes, I’m getting older.
  14. Relatedly - he’s never been known as a practice player - all kinds of issues in Houston with showing up and going hard in practice. Coupled with the age and the PED issues and there’s some serious red flags. But still - he has vice-grip hands and remains an elite talent. Probably a risk worth taking.
  15. Basham, a 4th and a 6th or 7th should be enough to get it done.
  16. Assume Kromer coached him and knows him well.
