  1. You idiots can't read. The article says people around the league "believe" he will be fired. No decision has been made yet. Reading comprehension, foos.
  2. Idk about that. He can flat coach up an offense. He's been burned by horrible drafting on the defensive side and poor cap management, neither of which are his fault. That said he strikes me as kind of a jerk.
  3. So many reasons. One is that he knows BB and Brady are GOAT and is too smart to kill his coaching career by landing in their division. Second he will wait for a better GM situation, preferably one of BB's cronies like Lombardi or Dimitroff. Third is that his cocky personality won't impress the Pegulas who just got burned by hiring an egomaniac coach. Among many other reasons. It will never happen.
  4. Show me a coach who makes the most out of little talent. Linehan isn't that. McDaniels is never - NEVER coming to Buffalo, it's not even worth discussing.
  5. Ah. How would I have known that?
  6. Peter Griffin has been amazing, I agree.
  7. You have Stockholm Syndrome, brah.
  8. Again a misread of the article. It says final GAMES, plural. Not to harp on this Yolo, you're one of my favorite posters, but reading comprehension is non-existent at TSW.
  9. Yikes I had no idea either and I live in NY.
  10. I'm sorry what? That made my head explode. I can't tell who is talking to whom, or who is mad about what. I guess it's like reading TSW...
  11. There it isn't - it just says that the "belief" around the league is that Ryan will be canned. The Pegulas are very close to the vest and I don't think this report really moves the needle - we still don't know.
  12. Dave, what exactly are you saying? That Polian's team is feeding these reports to create an opportunity? Didn't Polian already refute the Bears report earlier this week?
  13. I'm asking for your thoughts at this juncture, you can qualify it however you want. Or you can just pout and refuse to answer the question.
  14. How would you assess Whaley's 2016 draft class?
  15. Yup and tons of special teams gaffes.
  16. Guys - Rex has dealt with the NY/NJ media, he can handle these clowns.
  17. He's a horrible head coach, famous for brain gaffes at critical times.
  18. Coughlin's Giants teams were a mixed bag. The D lost a ton of talent during his last few years there, but those teams were also plagued by a lack of preparation, focus, and effort on Sundays. They flat out stopped listening to him during his last two seasons and it was apparent that the game had passed him by. As many have said, an advisory role would be fine but it would be very troubling if he were named HC, unless he assembles a young, lights-out staff.
  19. I'd love it if Bowles gets fired and we can promote Lynn to HC and hire Bowles as DC.
  20. Zack Brown hasn't done enough to justify a big contract. He made some flash plays early in the year but lately has been displaying the lack of toughness and instincts that got him thrown into the bargain bin in the first place. The Bills could really use an elite linebacker, whether it's for Rex's D or the next guy's. They need to find an Alec Ogletree/Sean Lee type who can run and chase all over the middle of the field and cover those two monster TEs in New England.
  21. Eh, I'm not too worried about the optics of firing Rex in December or January. The stain of Ralph's cheapness has not followed the Pegulas. They are well-regarded throughout the league as solid owners who are willing to invest resources to support their front office and head coaches. Rex was given a TON of leeway to hire as many assistant coaches as he wanted, including personal relatives. Everything he asked for from a personnel standpoint, including his own hand-picked QB, was given to him. He was allowed to rid the roster of once-productive players who didn't buy into his system. Coaches who sparred with him were shown the door. Rex hung himself, and I'm fairly certain the entire league (and Rex) understands this. The incoming coach will inherit a solid roster with a respected GM and ownership group. The Pegulas will not make money an issue - the incoming coach will be very well-paid. They'll have no trouble attracting candidates.
  22. WAIT - now Brandon is helping the Pegulas gain plants? The outrage!!
