  1. And query this - who was it who handed Tyrod this problematic contract mid-season? What really changed in the interim? Isn't he the same player now that he was then? What the hell is wrong with this franchise?
  2. Does Whaley understand that he is in the WINNING GAMES business?
  3. Whaley is going down with this god forsaken ship and us fans have to suffer for several more years because of it. Goddammnit.
  4. How can they make this decision without having a new head coach first? WILL THIS PIECE OF CRAP ORGANIZATION EVER LEARN? Seriously the Buffalo Bills might be the worst-run business in the free world.
  5. I don't like his approach to building the roster and using scarce resources like draft picks and cap dollars.
  6. QBs like Mahomes almost always creep into the first round by the time the draft rolls around.
  7. Thank goodness. His act is hoakey and tired, plus he disgusts me after all of those harassment rumors came out...
  8. No way - you scheme up a quick-hitting up-tempo short passing game. The Bills had no coherent plan for success on offense in that game - the Salas touchdown was a total fluke, a broken play where Tyrod scrambled around and made something happen. The Goodwin play was just a go route. Those are not recipes for success against any kind of defense.
  9. Indeed - they were anything from fine. They had a couple of playground ball big plays but otherwise looked so disorganized and inept that the owners promptly fired the OC...
  10. YOU'RE YOU'RE YOU'RE
  11. No. When Gugny was abducted by aliens and operated on through his nasal cavity, I'm pretty sure he had very little free will. Although he enjoyed it immensely.
  12. Right. If they release him and he can't pass his physical, the team can try to claim that he had an elective surgery which doesn't trigger the injury guarantee. I think...
  13. I don't know if the PAC-10 is better than most people think, or if it is simply more competitive than most people think. The games are competitive, because unlike the Big 10 there isn't as much disparity between the best and worst teams. I'm not sure the caliber of athletes comes anywhere close to the SEC or the ACC. But then again, I don't follow college football more than recreationally...
  14. "Elected" sounds like counter-leverage to me. If Tyrod can't pass his 3/1 physical because he's still undergoing rehab from the surgery, and the Bills have a colorable argument that he never needed the surgery to begin with, it sets the stage for a legal battle over the injury guarantee. Good times!
  15. Neither of those guys is leaving their cushy situation to come to this sh-t show, so it's academic (no pun intended).
  16. I hope they ask him about that Reggie Bush reverse call....
  17. Meh, I think you're overrating this.
  18. They run a very simple system (on both sides of the ball), which allows their players to play fast. IMO in today's NFL, it's the right way to go.
  19. He is DEFINITELY a top-shelf QB. Ever since college he has been running a complicated pro offense, making checks and calls a the LOS and outsmarting defenses just like his brother. He's a bit of a bonehead and will do 1-3 stupid things per game, but he makes up for it in clutch time and also throws one of the best deep balls in the game. He's elite, like it or not.
  20. Cleveland isn't going to do something that stupid. They've been shedding salary and stockpiling draftpicks for a reason - actually it's part of a coherent strategy, something the Bills don't seem to have.
  21. I have this weird suspicion that EJ had been lighting it up in practice of late and Whaley thought he'd finally be vindicated for that pick...
  22. Rodney McLeod Eric Wheddle Mark Barron
  23. Aaron Williams was a major injury risk heading into this season and the GM did very little to plan for his inevitable departure. Yes the Bills were unlucky with 6 safeties ending up on IR, but other than AW, none of those players were any good. IMO we also saw the decline of Corey Graham this year and he shouldn't have been counted on, either. His body is done, he can't run anymore.
  24. Yup. Like James Harrison, Vontaze Burfict and Steve Smith. You wonder sometimes if they even know they're playing football? As far as they know it might not even be a sport. Anyhow sorry to digress. Great analysis Bandit and Gunner.
  25. Corey Graham is a corpse - his body his done. I think we can safely cross him off the 53 for next year.
